I'm Not Afraid To Fall
Soo-Yun walked downstairs and took a glance at Jun-Sang and his clingy girlfriend, Haneul. She shook her head and headed to the kitchen. She came out with a bottle of water and sat on the dining table. Jun-Sang looked at her when she poured water into the glass. She secretly took glances at him through the kitchen window. Jun-Sang shifted his gaze on Soo-Yun, who was staring at him blankly. Looking away as their gaze met. She let out a deep breath and walked out of the kitchen. Jun-Sang turned his attention back to Haneul. “Babe, are you alright?” Jun-Sang nodded her head, making her smile a little. "Let's continue our movie." Haneul excitedly said and played the movie.
Sang-Woon pulled the brake of the car as he reached his destination. He heaved a deep breath and got out of the car. "Let's get it." Talking with himself, he entered the Jang mansion. Jun-Sang stood up and made his way to take a call as his phone rang. Haneul whined and glanced at him sadly. Jun-Sang showed her the caller I'd and gave her an apologetic look before heading away from her. "He has so many excuses for leaving me." Shaking her head, she continued laughing at the funny scene. Jun-Sang walked out of his house to take the call. He clenched his fist when his gaze landed on Sang-Woon, who was furiously coming inside the house.
Sang-Woon was about to pass Jun-Sang, but Jun-Sang held his wrist and pulled him back, causing him to glare at him. "What?" "What do you mean? What are you doing here?" Questioning Sang-Woon, Jun-Sang tightened his grip on Sang-Woon's wrist. Sang-Woon smirked and yanked his hand away. "I am not Soo-Yun who you gonna hurt and ask whatever you want." Answering Jun-Sang bitterly, Sang-Woon entered the house and walked to Soo-Yun's room. "What is Soo-Yun doing, and why did she call him here?" Everything which was related to Soo-Yun affected him. "Argh, I hate it. Why do I care?" Jun-Sang punched into the near wall and headed to the living room.
Haneul glanced at Jun-Sang with a worried gaze and softened eyes. "Are you okay?" Jun-Sang nodded and hopped onto the couch. After a few minutes, Jun-Sang and Haneul heard laughs and giggles, which were coming from Soo-Yun's room. It made both of them wonder. Jun-Sang was burning inside and wanted to rip Sang-Woon's face. "They are getting on my nerves now." Whispering to himself, Jun-Sang unknowingly tightened his grip on Haneul's hand. She hissed in pain and patted Jun-Sang's hand, causing him to glare at her. "Ya, it hurts." Jun-Sang came back to reality and let go of Haneul's hand. "Sorry," murmuring sorry, he shifted his gaze on the television screen. Haneul pouted and shook her head. "Why do you care about her?" Catching him out of the guard, Haneul turned off the tv. "Look at him while I talk to you, Jun-Sang." He let out a sigh and gazed at Haneul emotionlessly.
"Jun-Sang, please stop acting like that. It's not you." Haneul held his hand and caressed it. "Are you perhaps in love with her?" She heaved a deep sigh after asking for something unexpected. "Stop it. I don't love her and stop putting her between us. Look at her, I will never ever fall in love with a girl like her." His statement satisfied Haneul, but what about him and Soo-Yun, who was the witness of his bitter words? Taking her step towards them, Soo-Yun slammed the file on the table, making them flinch a little. Jun-Sang's eyes widened when reality hit him and he regretted his words. "Well, let me clear you one thing, Mr. Jang. I am also not interested in you. Your attitude towards me it's disgusting. Stop taking my name in your conversations and talk about something mature. Well, I am here to tell you to sign these papers as soon as possible." Jun-Sang frowned his eyebrows and waited for Soo-Yun to continue her words. "This is the contract for our new project and I want to work alone and I don't want your presence around me, so please." Saying that, she turned around and made her way to her room.
Jun-Sang closed his eyes in annoyance after messing up everything once again. He wasn't in his control. He wanted to be free of everything that wasn't easy for him either, like Soo-Yun, but no one was there to understand his situation. He was depressed and shattered. Controlling himself, he heaved a deep breath and moved out of the house without uttering a single word. Haneul smirked and proudly made her way to the room to take a nap. Meanwhile, Sang-Woon was watching everything silently. He shook his head and was about to head to Soo-Yun's room, but stopped when he heard Haneul talking. "Yeah, I did my work. They hate each other more day by day. Just wait for a few days more than see what I am gonna do with them." She said sarcastically while glancing at the wall in front of her. "So, that was you." Widening her eyes, Haneul immediately hung up the call and turned around. "What do you want?" Shooting him death glares, Haneul sat on the bed. "Don't play with my mind, or you're gonna regret it." Sang-Woon stated and waited for her answer. "Look like I care. Just out of my sight. I need some rest." He smiled. "Okay, now just wait and watch." She gulped her Salwa and looked away, showing him some powerful side. As he left her room, she let out her breath and grasped her hair out of frustration. "What am I gonna do now?"
Entering into the club, Jun-Sang made her way to the bar area. "A strong one." He ordered and made himself comfortable. He gulped the drink and signed the bartender for another strong drink. Flashbacks of his past continuously come into his mind, making him numb with every passing second. "Another one, this time the stronger one. Nodding his head, the bartender made another drink for him. After having so many strong drinks, Jun-Sang rested his head on the counter. "She hates me. She thinks I am a horrible person. Soo-Yun feels disgusting when I go near her." He chuckled sadly the pain can be seen into his eyes which is surely visible. "Why, why can't she see how much I care for her? I know I am not good at expressing my love to her, but still." A tear rolled down his cheek. "She was the first girl. She taught me love and made me love myself. When I needed someone, she was always behind my back. She accepted me the way I am." Letting out a deep breath, he hiccup. "Call my wife, please. Tell her to take me home. I miss her, please." Whining like a little baby, he requested the bartender. "Tell her please I love her a lot." The bartender nodded his head and took his phone. "What's your wife's name sir?" "Oh, it's—Yaa, What's her name?" Jun-Sang held his head as he felt a sharp pain. "Okay, okay, relax. Let me search." After struggling, the bartender found Soo-Yun's number. "My Wife." Shooting his head in disbelief, he made a call.
"Hello, Mam? Your husband is hella drunk. Could you come here and take him back as soon as possible? Because it's closing time." Hearing a deep sigh, Soo-Yun said "okay," coldly. "He is a pain in the ass," Soo-Yun mumbled and took her car keys before heading out of the house. "I am definitely going to kill him some day."
