Nightmare

"This is our room," Jun-Sang said as Soo-Yun entered the room. "I want a separate room," Soo-Yun said with a straight face. "Soo-Yun stop your drama." Jun-Sang glared at her, his face showing he was angry but inside he was happy that she was here. "Why? I want my separate room ``'' Everyone out there knows you are my wife- "A contract wife." Soo-Yun added before Jun-Sang finished his sentence, her voice serious as ever. He just stared for a second, thinking about how he ended up like this. "Soo-Yun, it is about my reputation so please don't make this hard for me. The whole company knows we got married." Soo-Yun rolled her eyes. She had never liked to be treated badly, especially by her husband, and this time is not any different. "And what will you do when the public gets to know that I am your contract wife?" "Soo-Yun, for GOD's sake stop it." Jun-Sang was pissed off. "I want a separate room," Soo-Yun repeated in the same tone. "No, this is our room and you can't go anywhere you want."
"You aren't my boss, Jun-sang"
"No you're right but as your husband, I'll make sure you stay in this room until we go back home." Soo-Yun huffed at him, she knew that would end up in an argument, and so far their arguments didn't last long. "Fine" "Good girl," Jun-Sang smirked after winning the argument over Soo-Yun, he turned around and went to his bed to get his laptop to work. "If you think I'm going to sleep with you on this worse then you are wrong," Soo-Yun said in an unreadable tone, her face expressionless. "Then sleep on the floor," Jun-Sang answered without looking up from his laptop. "Are you stupid? Jun-Sang raised his eyebrow at her question. "You know damn well what I meant." He simply replied and went back to what he was doing before. "Fine." "Good" after that Soo-Yun left the room.
Mrs. Leon was coughing badly as she walked through the door of their new home, her eyes red and irritated from crying so much lately. She stumbled over something near the wall before falling onto the floor.
“MOM!” Jung-Ki rushed toward his mother, kneeling down next to her and rubbing her back soothingly. “What’s wrong? Are you okay? Can I call Soo-Yun? ” He asked frantically.
Mrs. Loen shook her head slowly, breathing heavily for a moment until she could compose herself enough to speak. "I....I'll be fine." She mumbled, trying to catch her breath. "I just...need some rest.."
Jung-Ki frowned at her, "Okay, I'll bring you to your room." With that, he helped her up to stand.
He led his mother into her room, and once she sat on the bed he pulled a chair over in front of her and took her hands in his own. "Are you sure you'll be fine?"
She nodded.
"Okay, goodnight mom." He kissed her cheek lightly before standing up and walking out of the bedroom.
As soon as the door closed behind him, Mrs. Leon's eyes filled with tears again. She tried to stop it, but it wouldn't listen to her and continued flowing. She didn't realize that she had started crying until she felt the hot streams running down her cheeks.
The thought of losing her kids just made her cry harder because she knew that Jung-Ki needed his mother after his father's death, and Soo-Yun, she is a young woman. She can take care of herself. "I am sorry Hunny, I disappointed you." She said under her breath.
"MOM," Soo-Yun screamed and sat straight after having a nightmare, her eyes filled with tears. She was breathing heavily trying to stop the crying, but not succeeding.
Jun-Sang moved a little as he left some movement, and he shifted his position a bit. Jun-Sang opened his eyes slowly and glanced at Soo-Yun who was in a messy condition on the ground. Jun-Sang's eyes widened and he rushed to her. He tried to move closer to Soo-Yun but she didn't even notice him yet. She continued crying while shaking, sobs coming from her mouth. "Soo-Yun," He said gently, touching her shoulder softly. The girl looked up at him, tears were still running down her face and there was some drool. "What happened? What are you doing here?" Jun-Sang asked softly, looking at Soo-Yun for answers. "I had a nightmare." She answered sniffling. "Let's go to bed," Jun-Sang suggested, smiling softly as if he could calm her down. Soo-Yun nodded and Jun-Sang helped her to stand up. He helped her get into bed and tucked her under the cover and gave her a kiss. "I am here, just relax." Soo-Yun held Jun-Sang's hand tightly as he caressed her hair and kissed her forehead before sitting down by the side of her bed. He turned off the lights and went to sleep beside her.
"They left." A man in a black suit said. "I know, did he come back?" Sang-Woon asked. He was sitting on the couch with a glass of champagne in his hand.
"No."
Sang Woon put down his champagne. "And what about us? What are we supposed to do now?" "He will be back soon."
Sang Woon scoffed. He was about to argue but one glance from him was enough for him to shut up. "I am the boss, so be careful when you talk."
Sang Woon nodded, he got up and went to the kitchen to pour himself another drink. He looked out the window at the city's lights that never seemed to end. He took his glass and walked back into the living room. The man was still talking, explaining to someone what they should do if there were any problems later. But all Sang Woon could think about was how unfair this is. They had been partners for two years now. "I am gonna take my leave." The man said and he got up from his seat.
"Thank you for your hard work."
Sang-Woon smiled as the man walked out. "You are not my boss, just wait till he comes back." He said, taking a sip of his wine. He sat on the couch again and took another sip from his glass.
Soo-Yun groaned as she changed her position while sleeping. She unintentionally hugged Jun-Sang, who was also asleep. Jun-Sang pulled her closer and Soo-Yun's eyes snapped open and saw his hands on her waist, and she pushed him away and sat up. He didn't protest. She looked at him. Soo-Yun's face was expressionless. "Sorry, I didn't mean to hug you," Soo-Yun said in a monotone voice. She got out of bed. She had to finish her work, but not in this sleepy state, it would be very difficult to focus. It was already 9 AM. Soo-Yun sighed and went to the closest to grasp her clothes when Jun-Sang, standing in front of her, blocked her view. Soo-Yun didn't even realize that he was there until now. Soo-Yun blinked twice.
"Hey, can you please move?" She asked.
"Why? Don't you want me around?" Jun-Sang teased her. His eyes were half-closed, showing how much sleep he had just been.
Soo-Yun frowned but decided to ignore that comment. "I am late." She lied.
"Oh really? You're always late," He grinned.
"Yes, because sometimes I have things to do," Soo-Yun replied. She tried to walk past him but Jun-Sang held her arm.
Soo-Yun yanked herself from his hold and went to the washroom. "She is weird." He mumbled.
