The New Trouble

"Where the heck are you going Soo-Yun?" Jun-Sang asked, looking at her with a poker face. "I have told you many times before. it is none of your business stay away from me." She said, turning and running off without looking back to see his reaction. She knew he would follow her, no matter how much she pushed him away. He always did so easily. "This girl is getting on my nerves." He let out a sigh and decided to follow her around.
Soo-Yun sat on the stool and ordered a drink she rolled her eyes as she saw Jun-Sang coming toward her. He stopped right in front of her and glared down at her "where are you doing here?" He asked.
Soo leaned against the counter, staring at the man. "None of your fucking business. If I wanted to tell you, I would. Now get lost." she whispered angrily. His eyes widened and his expression turned into a dark one.
"You think I'm fucking stupid? Do you think you're that great and special? Well, guess what girl. I'm not a pushover like you think I am." He spat, leaning closer to her.
Soo glared up at him, crossing her arms "well maybe you should start acting more like it." she muttered under her breath, trying her best to look unaffected by what was happening in front of her.
He took a step forward "how dare you to talk to me like that. How dare you talk to someone like that. Do you realize just who I am?! Soo-Yun was pissed off as she gulped her drink. "YEAH, MY FREAKING HUSBAND." She screamed at him.
"You are making such a drama here, Soo-Yun" he scoffed "What if someone hears you?"
She laughed sarcastically "if they heard me, they wouldn't care. I don't want them to know who you really are, because honestly, I don't think they even give a damn about you anyway". She smirked, taking another swig of her beer. Jun-Sang's face went blank for a moment, shocked by her response. "You know what, do whatever you want, Soo-Yun." He said, walking off.
Haneul bowed at the man. She was trembling in fear of him. He was wearing black, he was about thirty. The man had brown hair and eyes. His gaze was harsh and cold. Haneul wanted to get away from that stare she was shaking even though he wasn’t doing anything harmful. It reminded her too much of his eyes. "How are you my sister?" he asked with a deep voice.
"I'm not your sister," Haneul replied. She felt like crying but she didn't want to cry. He glared at her. Her breathing stopped for a moment but it started again. She couldn't move nor could he see through her body. That thought made Haneul feel sick and scared. "Don't talk back. Understand my little sister?" The man said.
"Yes." Haneul's mind went to her mother. If she would be here right now then it would be great. "What news do you have?" "Wong, I don't know" Joon Wong glanced at her before looking away. It made her angry. "Young master, it is a young master. Little sister." She lowered her head, "Yes, Young Master." The man chuckled. She looked up, he was smiling. "You have done well in training but there are some things that aren't working out. The girl frowned, "What?"
Young Master Wong stood. His face became serious, "I have found someone suitable to take her place as my partner. He will be here tomorrow evening." She frowned again. "Who?" "You don't need to worry." He said and walked into his study room.
Mrs. Leon was sleeping, it was fifteen past twelve at noon. She hasn't been feeling well since last night. A small knock on the door made her flinch a little. It opened slowly as someone entered. Mrs. Leon's eyes squinted open and looked at the person who stood above her. "Jung-Ki, good morning honey." Her son smiled and made his way to Mrs. Leon. "Mom, are you okay?" He sat on the edge of her bed.
"I'm okay baby, just a little under the weather is all. I haven't felt this sick in years but it happens, I guess," she laughed slightly. "Mom, we should visit the doctor." His mother sighed slightly and shook her head. "No," Jung-Ki sighed and nodded his head. "Mom, why did we shift our house?" The woman thought for a moment. There were so many reasons she didn't want to go to the hospital, but there was one that stuck out to her the most.
She sighed and looked away from him. "Well...because it was so big for us." Jung-Ki didn't say anything else after that. He knew how hard this topic was for her and decided not to press her further. "Okay," he said instead. She smiled at him and held his hand. "Thanks, you're the best son in the world," she said with a smile.
"Can you go to my mother's house and let me know if she is okay?" Soo-Yun said to Sang-Woon over the phone. "I will, don't stress yourself Soo-Yun," Sang-Woon assured her. She sighed softly, "Thank you Sang-Woon. And sorry for calling you so suddenly like this." Soo-Yun apologized again before hanging up. "I hope she is okay." She thought to herself sadly and grabbed her purse. Soo-Yun was a little more worried than usual because she didn't have a good feeling about today's meeting. "Are you ready?" Jun-Sang asked as he entered the room. Soo-Yun was snapped out of her thoughts when Jun-Sang said that. She let out a sigh and nodded her head a little.
"Soo-Yun, Please don't show your attitude here. It is an important meeting. I am requesting you." Jun-Sang glanced in hope that she wouldn't let him down.
She rolled her eyes and sighed. "I know it's important, but you do know my temper is very bad today right?" She said as if saying that would make him understand the reason why she was being so stubborn now. He nodded. Of course, he knew. She wasn't always like this, but lately, her mood was changing drastically. He wondered what happened to cause the sudden change of behavior.
"Soo-Yun...what happened? Did something happen?" He asked carefully, not wanting to upset her again. He couldn't imagine how hard it must be for her to hold everything back and not lash out.
"Focus on your meeting." She replied, sounding more irritated than before. "I am just trying to help you," Jun-sang said but in reply, Soo-Yun moved to their table.
So he decided to drop the matter because he had his own job to do. "She is unbelievable." He muttered.
"Hello, Mr. Jang" Someone caught Jun-Sang off guard. He turned to see the person who had greeted him with his hand raised in greeting.
Jun looked up and smiled at the person he was talking to." Ah yes, Hello Mr. Kang." Jun-Sang shook hands with Mr. Kang. "How are you?" Mr. Kang asked as they let go of their handshake.
Mr. Kang wore a business suit today and stood taller than usual. "Well, I'm great thank you," Jun-Sang answered. "Meet my son. Jung-So." Mr. Kang introduced his son. Jun-Sang smiled and raised his hand to shake, the young man glanced at him coldly.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Jang Jun-Sang. It's nice to finally meet you Mr. Kang-" Before he could finish his sentence, Jung-So cut him off. "We should focus on our work." He said curtly before turning around and walking away.
"Jung..." Mr. Kang sighed. "It's Okay Mr. Kang." Jun-Sang smiled. "He gets like that sometimes." "No problem." Mr. Kang patted his back and they walked to their table where Soo-Yun was waiting for them.
