Chapter 10 His choice

Prince Zelda was very angry with the way Queen Maya spoke with him earlier. She was so rude and arrogant just as she had always been. Prince Zelda went to the maid quarter looking for her because he didn't like the way everything happened earlier. He's certain that she might have feel bad and embarrassed because of Queen Maya but she's gonna confirm her right now not to worry.
"Where's Kayden?" Prince Zelda ask the maids who was doing one thing and other as they glare at each other in fears. "my... My prince; Kayden w... Went to the stream to wash some clothes! One of them manage to utter as prince Kayden turn to walk away.
Without hesitation, he turn to the direction where the stream was located in the palace. "Stop there son!" The voice of his mother echoes in his ear as he halted his footsteps and found his mother walking towards him.
"What's all that I'm hearing? Queen Grace question as he took a deep breath. " Mother; I don't get your point! I'm actually going to somewhere right now so maybe we can talk later. "Stop right there Zelda! You aren't going anywhere until you stop and tell me what's happening!

Zelda ask with a serious face this time around. "About the affairs you were having with a maid! Is that really true? "Yes! That's true! But aren't I allowed to marry whoever I want?
Prince Zelda ask as his mother shake his head. "Oh my gosh! Son how could you? In all the beautiful princess who always come to visit your father you couldn't find any interest in any of them but a lowly maid Zelda! "I'm so disappointed in you! Queen grace utter and walk away in anger as Zelda follow her to her Chamber.
Seems like they need to talk this out. "Mother please listen to me! Prince Zelda utter immediately he enter his mother chamber. " What do you have to say Zelda?" What can you say? Queen grace bellowed at him as he held his hand waiting for his reply.
"I can say there's nothing wrong in having an affairs with a maid or even planning to make her my princess! " You stop that words fast! Queen grace slap her cheeks as she let go of him angrily. "Get out of my chamber! I don't want to see you here again! Get out! His mother yelled at him as he decided to surrounder. It's high time he start following the rules of this kingdom and now he's getting his mother vex by his speech.

So since the Kings have many children, they will be alot of envies and conspiracy between all of you so as a prince who was born with a silver spoon, I expected you and we all expected you to get married to a princess also because it isn't possible for someone like you to marry to her slave. So right now he's currently on his way to the maid quarters. He's certain that she might have come back from the stream. "Kayden", he called her attention as she was about to enter the maid quarter.
Staring at her face thoroughly, he could tell that she was so happy to see him. And that was because he had made the innocent girl to fall for himself. "Good afternoon my prince!" Kayden greeted in her normal tone and posture as usual with a bright smile which revealed her gap teeth.
Kayden couldn't help but pondered why the king was just glaring at her without uttering a words. Could it be that something was wrong?
Kayden thought as she narrowed her gaze to the ground since she was getting uncomfortable with the way he was looking at her and she was afraid that someone from the royal family would see them at the moment since their love affairs was secret. She so wonder how they're gonna react when they found out the truth. Would they even accept her since she's just an ordinary maid.
