Chapter 70 Her reason

Anne had seen Kayden the next day and she was worried why Kayden baby bump was getting bigger and bigger each day.. could it be that she's pregnant? She had once thought but yet, she wasn't still satisfied with the answer her instinct were telling her.
She needed to confirm this out by herself. Anne had prepared a food merely for a mother who had given birth and a pregnant woman can't eat it if not the person will have a miscarriage when she called Kayden over.
Kayden on entering the room founded some plate of food on the ground as her heart skipped pondering why Anne had decided to invite her over for a dinner.
"How have you been doing Kayden?" How's your side? The concern Anne ask as Kayden face show an expression of doubt and disbelief. This was unlike her! She thought.
"Well; I'm fine prince Susan, but is there something wrong? Do you need anything? Kayden ask pondering why she had called her unexpectedly.
"I hope this won't sound so surprised for you but it's high time I stop being so creul and wicked to you. I think it's high time I treat you like a person and not an animal.
"I know since you came here I have been hating on you and that was because I was very angry at my husband who had took in another lady to the palace. Apart from that, I have no reason why I hated you .
But I called you here today to ask for your forgiveness. I truly hope you can forgive me Kayden and forget the past. Forget and leave everything which I have done to you behind please!
Kayden don't know if she were to believe her speech or not because she actually doesn't know if she was saying the truth at the moment. But what if she's just pretending to be sorry? She thought and just as Anne had read out her expression she said.
"I know you probably think that maybe I'm lying but I aren't and i hope you can see the sincerity in my eyes. Anne uttered.
"Well I don't know if you've changed or not" but I just want you to know that I have not a was hold grudges against you or hate you. I just accept you for the person you were and I understand why your probably hate me and I know it's from me marrying your husband.
"Yeah but that's okay! It's in the past now so let's forget about it. Okay so I made a special food for us to celebrate.
And I do hope that you will like it Kayden. So here's it. I made RAC rice. She uttered as her eyes widened open. That's probably rice for someone like her because a conceive person like her can't eat such food or else she's planning to have a miscarriage.
"Why are you so shock Kayden? Come eat with me! Anne uttered as she think of a way she could escape this without letting her know of the truth.
"That's so kind of you but I haven't eaten already! I was just finishing eating up when I came here. She Utter with a beam as Anne scoffed.
" Come on don't say that to me and stop making me look sad okay! If really you've forgiven me, then I actually expected you to eat this okay?
She uttered but Kayden didn't buy the ideas as she was scared to eat the food. "I'm sorry but I can't! I aren't hungry actually. She utter trying not to sound so rude before her.
" Now I can see that you still hate me Kayden. It's in your eyes or are you scared that I might poison you? If that's the situation you can see that I'm eating it or is there any other reason you don't want to eat it?
Anne uttered but she wasn't ready to tell her that she's pregnant. Anne after keeping quiet for sometime decided to break the silent by telling her what she had expected.
"Wait Kayden are you.....! She pause her speech and then glared at Kayden whose face have changed. " Are you pregnant Kayden?
Anne finally spit out the truth as her heart skip once pondering how she found it out. Kayden was speechless and also dumbfounded as she doesn't know if she could admit it or denied such fact in front of her. But even though she denials it, Anne will surely still found out after she have given birth to the child and when she Do....
Anne will probably hate her for lying and then that can bring malice to them again. After calculating the consequences of it if she were to lie for her will bring, she finally decided to tell her the truth.
"I'm pregnant!" She uttered shuttering as Anne put on a feign smile. "Really? Ohh my gosh I'm so happy for you! Why didn't you even tell me earlier Kayden?
I mean why do you have to keep that as a Secret from me huh? You should have just told me earlier and I could have understand what you mean instead of stressing you out. I'm so happy for you.
But that was unexpected. Kayden wasn't expecting that words from her as she was convinced that Anne had finally change from good.

So can you tell me more about yourself? Like where you are from and what has been your journey so far in Life? Anne ask with concern to know more about her.
"Well!" My life have been hectic though with so many obstacles in the way actually. I guess I was born as a maid. I have been working as a maid from a very long time now just to found money I would use to treat my mother who have a disease back then.
I have to escape from where I was working back then and go visit my mother in the village. When I went to my village,I found out that my mother have been killed. Each and everybody in that village was killed so I have to take my mother dead body and burial her before leaving the village.
When I gone back to the palace where I work,I was sacked and later I was sold into slavery and then I met a man who I fall in love with. We both Love each other and I was sure he also felt the same way about me but our love affairs was shattered when he broke the news to me that we can't be together.
He was from a royal family while I was a born slave which was what he made me understand that his parents wasn't in support of our relationship. Kayden utter and all Anne could do was to feel so sorry for the poor little girl.
If only that man would have day with her by now, she wouldn't have to share her husband
"Can I know this man name? I think he must be arrested for doing this to you! He couldn't have make you fell for him at first.
His name is " Zelda" he's your twin brother.
"What? Anne mouth gasped open. Her eyes widened open at the name she just heard. " You mean... Prince Zelda? The latest king of melayu village? Anne uttered as she nodded her Head sadly. Yes that's him.
"0hh my gosh; that's just so bad. I'm sure he must have gotten married and have a wife and kids by now! Kayden uttered as she nodded her Head. " He have! He's married already with a heavily pregnant wife.
"It was nice coming over to your chamber princess Susan but I gotta go now! Do take good care of yourself. Kayden utter and walk away immediately.
Kayden felt so sad. She was crying at the moment on remembering the promise which prince Zelda have make for her. all those promise and memories of them being together flash to her as she cried out her eyes.
She probably know for sure that Zelda was the best man for her. The right man for her because she feels so but their relationship couldn't work because of the differences.
They couldn't be together because she was born a slave while he was born with a silver spoon. Their two can't be together which was what they called abomination. "I'm sorry but a prince must marry a princess!" She had remember the words he spoke to her back then.
But why's she crying? She just gotta accept her fate and then accept everything as her fault because she knew prince Zelda couldn't betray his family. He wouldn't dare disobey his parents which was the reason why he had choose their decision over her but she's fine by now.
She was certain that her once broken heart was healed by king Gabriel proposal and for the fact that king Gabriel later married her was a happy things and a wish coming true for her.
