Chapter 45 A poisonous snake

Queen Maya had decided to start everything today. She had decided to kill the king with the snake which she had put in one of those plates that she was carrying. One of them contains food while the other plate was just a poison snake which she had put for the king.
The guard on hearing the sound of her voice alarm the king of her present. King Alfred was silent for a while with the thought of Maya coming into his chamber this early morning but he got no choice but to let her in. He do wonder what she's looking for.
"Good morning my king! How was your night?" He ask his head bowed in obesiance as the king sighed deeply. "It was fine! What are you doing here and what is inside those plate which you've carried?
"They're just some food which I have brought for you my king! She utter walking towards the king as he messaged his hand. " It's been long I did this for you my king but I promise to do it now more often since I'm all you got.
"I know it's very painful to lose a two Queens at the same time but I promise to be there for you like never before my king. I just need you to trust me and stop doubting my honesty because i wouldn't dare lie to you. She utter as she kept messaging him now going to his chest areas.
"What do you want?" King Alfred ask as he removed her gripped from his body. "I just want you my king! I just need your trust and nothing more. I just need your cooperation and I need you to like me. Maya utter as he burst into laughter.
"You just need me to love you seriously?" Are you even hearing what you're saying right now Maya! You actually did want my trust where you're nothing but a lier of a pet of hell. He blasted her.
"You're like a manipulator in this palace and you manipulate everybody including Grace. Now where's she? She has been buried alive all because of you Maya can't you see that?
You're the evils one in this palace and i don't think I can keep such a person with me here except you will change. You were the reason why Grace isn't here anymore. She make the innocent girl life because the soothsayer accuse him of Killing Margaret when they've been bribe by you.
It's now I began to understand why grace didn't like you it's because of your wicked act and of course she had warned me many times on what you're capable of doing which I didn't believe back then but now I do. I do believe that you're a monster who deserve to be death just like the way everyone who you kill die also.
"Your deaths will be double Maya because I've been waiting for a day like you when you will come to my chamber telling me to cooperate with you. I will have to have you buried alive and then skin alive just like how you made them kill those my Two Queens. Your deaths will be worser than them.
"My king I think that's enough! Don't cursed me too much okay I beg of you and I promise you that I'm going to change in life. I want to be a change person so you could forgive me. In the process of talking, she opened the plate which she have put the snake and immediately, it went away from the plate crawling around the chamber in the moment.
"I know you won't change Maya! People like you can't be changed because you've already been opened to evil things around you. I want you to get the hell out of here right now or I call the guards up take you away. He threaten her as carry the tray of the plate to his table. "My king please just take a little bit of this food! You know you haven't eaten since. She utter.
"I will rather commit suicide on my own than eat your Poisonous food and die since that's what you're planning to do. Maya began to feign a cry at the moment trying to pretend to the king that she was real in other to get closer to his heart and use such opportunity against him.
"My king can you just at least look at my face? I'm I that evil to you? I'm I really that ugly to look at in the eyes? She ask with tears as the king sighed deeply. He was tired of her drama and badly want her to go away.
"I'm tired of you Maya and I regret ever marrying you as one of my wife. "Enough of this nonsense right now because I don't have the time to exchange words with you or to have an argument with you. "I just want you out of my chamber! He bellowed at her.
" But my king the delicious suffer to make for you, why don't you give it a try? "Okay I will, now get the hell out of my Chamber.

Queen Maya left the king chamber laughing so hard that it's pull the guards attention on her way to her room. The King thought that he was wise! She thought. Gosh so till now he wouldn't stop thinking about the dead grace who had been buried alive since two days. She was certain that Queen grace had joined her ancestors since yesterday and boom, they will be so surprised to see themselves in the afterlife. Maya thought as she enter her chamber.
Now all she just need is a news. The news for her to make another move. The news which will boost her confidence and of course make her strong.
And that one news is her hearing that the king had been killed by the poisonous snake which she had bought. Hearing such news will make her very happy.
