Chapter 59 Her dead child

"Are you sure? At least you could have told me since! I could have kill them since and take them to where they belong. Queen Maya told her maid to call the maids who witness the event when it was happening.
"What Exactly happened?" Queen Maya ask staring at the two terrifying maids who was shuddering in fears at the moment. "My Queen we are innocent, she got bitten by a snake! One of them utter in fear.
She was laying down before when she began to scream and when we ask her what was wrong, she told us that a snake was biting her and in the process she couldn't get up as she was battling with the snake before we finally help her out.
"You're lying! Why didn't you girls carried her immediately you saw her on the ground. How could you let this happened to my daughter. My only daughter why? She ask in so much angers as the maids kneel down immediately.
"We are very sorry my queen please forgive us! They utter just like they've read her mind about what going to happen to them. " Please forgive us my queen! Spare our life.
"Guards", Maya roar at the guards with so much angers and for a while their heart stop beating at once because they've already know what's going to happen. They know who Queen Maya was and what she was capable of.
"Tied them ready and prepare everything for them to be executed without the king attention" she commanded at them and immediately the two maids were taken out.
Queen maya went out to the forest to search for a medicine which can cure it because there wasn't any medicine in their kingdom which could cure it except they go to Bel kingdom.
Queen Maya was tired and decided to turn back. She can't go back and ask for Queen grace for help if not she could have done that and she was certain that her daughter could have been healed by now if she was given one of those medicine which was with king Alfred back then. But she wouldn't make such mistake of telling Zelda or grace about her daughter situation because she doesn't need non of their help.
Maya went back empty handed with nothing. She walk to her room only to see her daughter Dead. Her heart was no longer beating. Her leg and hand was very cold at the moment. Her hand even felt so heavy to be lifted.
"Junko; my child", Junko please wake up! Are you cold? Do you need anything else? Maya utter with tears as all she could hear was silent. She wasn't responding neither was she reacting to her questions. Her eyes was close.
"Nooooooooooo! No... No... No.... This can't happen! Junko please wake up! You can't leave me okay! You can't be dead it isn't possible so please Wake up. Her shout, and scream was all in vain as her personal maid who was in the room with them begin to cry.
She was crying because she knows what will happen if the Queen turned back and sighted not mourning her daughter so that was the reason why she had decided to let out a feign mourn.
"My princess! My Queen please calmed down it's okay. She utter petting her back.
Queen Maya had called one of the guards to let prince Albert know what was happening as he came with the maid immediately. Prince Albert wasn't happy. He was sad and hurt to see Queen Maya hurt too because he could understand how she feels.
He totally understand how she must have feel after all their strength wasted. After all their Time and Money all wasted while she was trying to make him the king of this land so they could all benefits from it.
"But isn't there a cure for her to be saved? What was the cursed of it? Prince Albert asked glancing at Maya who was so Down at the moment. " There was a cursed!" It was with in the king room but since it now belongs to Zelda, I couldn't go there to beg him to give me the medicine.
"But why?" He yelled at her? Why can't you do that? Why can't you save your own daughter even if it will cursed your life? Prince Albert ask and that was when she realizes her wrong. She could have at least let go of her proud and then beg Zelda for the medicine.
"Yes I know but I couldn't!" It's just too much as they will all look down on me and I don't want that. I never wanted to be look down on.
I don't want anyone to pity me neither my situation which was the reason why I have keep it to myself. She uttered with tears regretting her decision.
"But you could have let go of your proud this time around! But then again it's too late. What's meant to be will surely be.... So please take Heart! Everything will be okay very soon!
He assured her and then walk away. Maya couldn't help herself but continue crying. Not because of everything that was happening but because of her child. Her only child. Her only precious child who just kicked the bucket right in front of her eyes.
How's she supposed to feel about that? "Each and everyone of you must keep quiet about this!" You should never tell anyone what just happened no matter what happened! Maya threaten the maids and guards who knew of the situation as she never want to let anyone know that her daughter had been dead.
Because she knows what will happen if people found out what happened to her daughter. Of course as always they will talk bad about her saying that her wickedness had killed her own daughter which she doesn't want to happen.
They will surely mock and laugh her since she has no power again in the palace.
