Audrey's POV

"Approved" Mrs Blakeston said when we got to the door.

Oh really? Oh my God!



"Thank you very much ma'am" Kyle said before I could even say.

Then I jumped into his arms happily.



"Are you guys aware that your love-play is taken place in front of me? " Mrs Blakeston giggled.



Aw! I never knew she was such a jovial woman.



"You both should get out of my office now! " She said jokingly and we scurried out of her office.



We hugged again like it worth more than winning a lottery. Whereas we didn't even win any lottery.



"Au..drey" Someone called my name.



Vivian!



It was now it drawn to me that I've over-reacted over his approved permission to assist me.



"Mmmm Vivian, meet my friend Kyle" I introduced him to her.



"Hi, my name is Vivian" She said to him.



"It's nice meeting you and we're gonna be seeing eachother often " Kyle said.



"What's that supposed to mean?" Vivian asked.



"Mrs Blakeston accepted his offer to join me here, to assist me actually" I briefly explained.



"Oh" She mouthed.

"Ok. So go and change your clothe and I'll be waiting for you" Vivian said to me.



"Wait for me" I repeated and hurried to change my shirt and in no time, I was back.



"I... I almost mistook you for someone else" Kyle said and I smiled as I held his hand and walked down the stairs with Vivian behind us.



I told Kyle what to do and at the end, he find it simple to do.



My glance paused at someone.

Mr Gary?

So he had the gut to still come here?

No wonder, Vivian looked so happy today. She is not even aware of what her man-friend almost did to me.



Mr Gary saw me too and quickly looked away.

Seems he is afraid of me now.



"What is it? " Kyle asked me. He noticed I was engrossed with staring wickedly at an old fool.

"Who is he? " He asked me.



"Oh, he is the one Simon saved me from the other night when he tried molesting me" I told Kyle.



"Should I go beat the hell out of him? " Kyle asked me.



"No, it's alright. I think, he is sorry" I told him.

Lol, there were still bruises on his face yet he is ready to get into another fight.

I secretly chuckled.



The entrance door opened and Simon entered.

Well, I have kinda been expecting him. I don't know why.

Coincidentally, our eyes met..

Like; Kyle and I at Simon and Simon's at Kyle and I.

Whichever way.



He looked really shocked when he saw Kyle with me. So shocked to an extent that it made him stand at the door like someone who was lost. Later, he got an hold of himself and headed to his usual seat.



Oh God! I hope I haven't made a very wrong decision.

If Kyle and Simon would always meet here, I hope one day they won't injure theirselves here. And I will be the one to be blamed.



"I'll be the one to take his orders and serve him" Kyle said.



"No Kyle" I stopped him.



"There would be no problem okay? Just don't worry, go ahead and attend to other customers" He said to me and started walking towards where Simon sat.



Instead of attending to other people like he told me to, I just stood there and watched him and Simon.

Kyle's POV

"What do you want? " I half-yelled at him.



"I don't want you to take my orders. Aside, do you work here also? " Simon asked me back instead.



"I asked, what do you want? " I repeated already getting pissed off.

The fact that he always come here makes me more pissed off.



"How sure am I that you won't food-poison me when you go get my orders? " He said.



...and I smirked: "So you know you deserve food- poisoning or something worse than that?" I said brusquily to him.



"Kyle, I'm being gentle to you now but you're the one speaking to me another way round" Simon said.

But I ignored him. He is only blabbing.

I folded my arms and kept quiet. Waiting for an answer to my question.



"Barbeque" He finally said and no more words from him. Then I left.



I walked towards Audrey and whispered to her: "It's fine"



Then I went to request for Barbeque from the chefs, I returned to Simon and almost inclined the plate of barbeque on the table like it were trash. I don't even care if it will pieces.



"Okay? " I said in an harsh tone as I turned to go.



"Kyle" He called my name.



What is it again?

I reluctantly turned back to him.



"I am... I'm sorry for what happened in school today" He apologized.

He apologized? Did I just hear him right?

This isn't the first time we'll ever fight but this would be the first time he'll be apologizing.



"Wh... What?"



"You heard me Kyle. I said I'm sorry... And Let's start afresh.... Isn't it tiring? Quarrelling and fighting almost everyday, aren't you tired of it. Let's be friends Kyle"

He .. is .. saying .. rubbish.

"You are Sick" I said and walked away.

Audrey beckoned to me - to a corner where people having their meal here will barely see us.

There were two people there.

The Vivian girl I met earlier and a guy. A guy?



"Kyle meet my friends, Vivian and Felix" Audrey introduced them to me.



"I already met Vivian" I reminded her.



"Oh that's true" She muttered.

"Hey Kyle" Felix spoke to me first.



"Hi Felix" I replied him.



"You are welcome here. Why aren't you putting on a pink shirt? " He asked me.



Oh true, Audrey, Vivian and him were putting on a pink shirt.



"Well I'm... Maybe because I just came to work here for her sake" He said to him, referring to Audrey.



"Ohhh.. For her sake...Okay then" He said and patted me on my shoulder like a senior or an elder brother.

And I heard him whisper into Audrey's ear.. "Your boyfriend is so nice"



"He is not my boyfriend! " Audrey blurted out.



Oops, it kinda hurt..

When will she start addressing me as her boyfriend or her crush?

She ought to start noticing me by now.

Would I be so clingy around her because I want her to be just friends with me?



"Hmmn, then what is he to you? " Felix whispered again.



"He is.... He is my best friend" She said and I kinda smiled.



At least, fair enough.

For now, we are just still best friends.
