Audrey's POV



After School;

"So did you see Simon? " Kyle asked me.



"No, the nurse told us that he has been taken to the hospital immediately after they contacted his father" I answered him.



"Ok, you aren't going to the hospital right? " He asked me.



"Since it's a slight illness, he won't be admitted. He'll return home today.. So I... "



"Don't tell me you're thinking of going to his house to see him" He spured and I kept mute..

"He'll be fine. So we would see him in school tomorrow " He said.



"Uhm okay" I answered sheepishly.



"I... I hope you're not angry with me? " He asked me.

Referring to what happened to us today at the canteen.. How I yelled at him..



"No. I'm not mad at you" I responded.

Yeah, I'm not like him.. Who gets angry easily.



He smiled as we continued walking to the resturant.



"I can't believe Mr Gary, that pervert is our new mathematics teacher" I suddenly said.



"I think there's something fishy about him"



"Exactly but what else is fishy apart from he's after everything that has skirt on it. My mom had stopped me from working at the restaurant because of him. What if I told her that Mr Gary is now our mathematics teacher, she will probably stop me from coming to Wearous High School" I said.



"No, we can't let that happen.I'm planning on telling Mrs Smith about him before other girls become his preys"



"Right decision"



We got to the Restaurant already -, Walked in..

Lo and true, there were so many few faces.



We wasted no time in attending to them all, goodness there were no flithy perverts among them and the only pervert I know, Mr Gary didn't come to the restaurant today and I could see that it made Vivian moody. She kept asking me questions whether my mom told me anything about him, his absence and again, what happened that day.

I was moody too but what made me moody was Simon's illness. He didn't show up here and it's not like I've been expecting his arrival too. Even when the nurse told me it's not serious, I was still so worried about his health but I didn't make it obvious to Kyle.



Luckly, the customers took their leave early and we had to close and leave the restaurant early also.

6:00pm

Since there was still an hour time before the usual closing time besides, it ain't dark yet. The intention to go visit Simon at his house was still in my mind but seriously how would I? bcos Kyle is here with me.



"Kyle.. " I called while we walked home.



"Yes? "



"Are you gonna follow me home? " I asked him.



"Do you want me to? I will if you want me to" He said.



I shook my head and said..

"No, it's not really late yet. So I'm safe " I said.



"We'll be departing soon then" He said and I nodded, within me I was excited that he won't be aware that I'm going to Simon's place.

I'm not meant to hide things away from him but he's making me to do so, if I told him.. He'll be very mad and I hate that side of him.



"Good, we'll be less busy tomorrow 'cos it's friday" He reminded..



"Oh Yeah"



"And Audrey... " He called my name in soft and solemn way which made me look at him.

"I have something to tell you tomorrow"



"Oh, tell me now" I said.



"No tomorrow " He insisted.



"Not even an hint, about who or what? " I asked.



"About You, No.. About myself" He said.



"Okay...Tomorrow" I accepted.



Soon we got to where we are to depart, I bide him Bye and made sure he has gone beyond my sight.

Then I hurriedly stopped a cab. - with the description of the mansion and address Elena told me, I don't think it's too far.

I've got money to pay the cab-driver, so I told him where I was heading to and he guessed right "Anderson's Place" He said.

The cab-driver stopped in front of a building.

"Here we are" He said and demanded for his money which I gave him.



I alrighted and almost drooled at the sight of the mansion in front of me, true.. I think this is the tallest building I've seen in Wearous.

With a kind of fancy iron gate that I could see through.

I breathe an heavy sigh, I think I overheard some girls saying they'll pay him a visit, so it's likely I meet some of them.



I walked towards the gate...there were no guard or security.

I thought of how I was going to enter since there's no one to open the gate for me.



But suddenly, the gate began to open itself.

Ok Ok... Fancy stuffs.

Or should I return back?

No, I started working slowly into the large compound.

I sighted the pool first then the vehicles lot... Omg, and this can't be the only building he owns.

The Vehicles lot alone looks like where different cars are being sold.



The pleasant view shows that what I've heard about him doesn't have a tiny inch of lies.

But he's so wealthy but I didn't find any securities around.. Not even one at the gate, in front of the building or door.



But why is everywhere damn silent..

I don't think there are students around..

Or is Simon still at the hospital?

Geez, hope being so worried about my crush won't take me into troubles?



I got to the entrance and knocked on it.. I knocked twice before realizing that there are door bells.

I was about to press one of the buttons when I heard a footstep coming close to open it.

Then the door was opened by a man - an elderly looking man - Simon's father I guess.



"Mmm.. Hello, Good evening. I errrm " I hope I'm at the right house? Of course but why am I stammering?

Is it because I'm feeling nervous about coming here or because this man looks so familiar.

Where have I met him before?



"I'm Simon's friend.. I mean his classmate. I... I came to check up on him.. Is he fine now? " I asked avoiding to stammer.



"You! " The man blurted - like he knew me too.



"Mr Anderson" Oh! I met him in school, I never knew he was Simon's father but why was he staring me then.

Had it been I have a cell phone, I would have seen his pictures over the internet, I would have recognised him.

Oh My God, I'm standing in front of Mr Wealthy.



"Come on in, He is fine now... He just savoured Bacon and eggs" Mr Anderson said and permitted me to come in.



I laughed..

As if he knew I was looking around in search for some other students... Bcos I was kind of scared to be the only one here.



Simon's Dad said; "The whole school already came to see him and they've gone...You are just coning"



I nodded.. Yeah. I'm the last person to pay him a visit because I had to work at the restaurant first.



"You look familiar" Mr Anderson said while I followed him... He climbed the stairs, I think he's taking me to Simon's Room.

Goodness how many rooms are there in this Mansion?

100? 200?



"Yes sir, we met at school some days ago" I told me.



"Oh yeah.. But that's not it, You look like...... "



"Audrey" I heard Simon's voice.

I turned and saw him at some footsteps away.



"Oh, there he is, I'll excuse you two now" Mr Anderson said.. Climbing down the stairs and leaving the both of us alone.



Hmm..

Now it's just me and him..
