Audrey's POV

Soon school dismissed for that day, we had to bid eachother Bye but..



"The sun is really scorching, don't tell me you two are gonna walk under it" Simon said.



"We are..." I wanted to speak but Kyle completed the sentence.



"We are used to it" Kyle complained.



"I want to offer you both a ride, look my driver is already here" He pointed to a tinted glass Benz. Kyle and I almost drool when we saw it.

It's also different from the one that brought me to school today.



"Simon mmm, like you know there are no long buses here because of how prestigious Wearous is. So Audrey and I are already used to walking together" Kyle repeated.



"Well then, if you're going to turn down my offer then I will walk you two" He said.



"Pardon" I exclaimed.



"Yeah, afterall we are going to the same place" He said and took out his phone, dailed some numbers and said into it; "You can leave"



Then the Benz drove away.



"Simon are you serious about this? " I asked, surprised.

How could he have rejected to stay in an air-conditioned and comfortable car and prefer to trek under the angry sun with us.



"Does it look like I'm joking? " He smiled.



"Anyways, it's fine by me" Kyle said then we started walking down the lane.



"I'm also going to ERR directly you know.. " Simon said.



"Yeah but why? " Kyle asked him.

Oh, he shouldn't have.



I expected Simon to be upset with the question Kyle just asked but he wasn't. He was still smiling.



"Maybe because I don't want home cooks or maids and I don't have a mother to cook for me and my Dad" He replied.

"So that's why I do visit ERR almost all the time" He said.

"What of you Kyle? I met you there on friday" He said to him.



"Didn't I tell you that I'm there because Audrey is there? " Kyle held my hand and pulled me closer to him like we were couple.



Simon huffed a bit: "Are you guys into something? "



"No" I blurted.



"Yes" Kyle said.



"Huh" I faced him.



"We are best friends" He added.



"Yeah, that's it" I said and Simon nodded and muttered;

" I see"



We continue to walk to ERR in silence but Simon broke the silence again.

He's really serious about this friendship stuff.



"Kyle, you sang very well. Sorry for the bad compliment that day. I really don't know what was wrong with me" He said.



"It's okay. Let's call it Bygones! " Kyle said and I giggled.



"Did you learn how to sing and play the Guitar? " Simon asked him.



"Huh, no Never. It's my talent. I'm a lucky child" He proudly said.



"I don't think everyone has a talent. Because I haven't discovered mine yet" Simon said.



"Well, A talent is something you think you can do without being thought how to do it" I briefly explained to him.



"And what's yours? " He asked me



"Mine uhm! Well, I think I'm pretty good at advising or counselling one. I didn't read or learn how to - from any book! " I said but they didn't say anything.

"What's with that? Say something!" I yelled at them.



"Something" They chorus.



"Seriously! You guys are Impossicant" I rolled my eyes and began to walk ahead of them like I were upset.



"Come on!

Wait up!

We are only kidding" They said, laughing then they caught up with me.

When they did, I still walked ahead of them and got to the restaurant before them.

Ok, I must say...

Today's work at the restaurant was fun..

Yeah Fun instead of Stress.

Making Friends is so sweet.



When I told Simon that my wages depends on how much meals customers have bought, he bought more than his usual order which will be of benefit to Myself and others. - The pay.



Felix and Vivian was shocked and surprised too.



Simon also wanted to Join Me, I mean Join us but Kyle blurtly disagreed beside I don't wanna step on Mrs Blakeston feet.



"It's late, why don't you go home now? " Kyle asked him when it was almost seven and everyone was preparing to leave.



"I can't see your car anywhere" I added.



"B'cos I told my driver not to come pick me" He smiled.



"Why? "



"Let's go home together" He stood up with the baskets of everything in ordered for in his hands.



"You know what, with the little time I've spent with you both, I almost cannot do without the both of you" He said while we left ERR Restaurant..



"You're such a wonderful Teaser" Kyle said.



"I'm not teasing you" Simon said...

"It's all fun; to walk and walk and Work unlike being locked up in the car"



"But it's more convenient" I disagreed.



"I prefer it this way" Simon insisted.

"Since we're friends now and the three of us stays at wearous. Then let's walk home together always" He said.



"Here" He gave one of the two baskets to me but I didn't collect it from him.

"Kyle, take one" He gave the other to Kyle who shook his head and said; "I don't really want it"



"You bought it yourself" I said to Simon.



"I know but do you expect my Dad and I to eat it alone? " He asked and we chuckled.



"Well... This is too much for me, so I don't want" I told him



"Same here" Kyle said.



"Oh My God" Simon sighed.

"I guess it will forever stay in the fridge"



We continue to trek in Sil...

"One thing I hate most is Silence" He said suddenly.



"Weren't you the one who said I'm too Noisy" Kyle scorned.



"I was only being foolish and immatured but the fact is, I hate silence " He said and Kyle scoffed.

"Sing Kyle, I want you to Sing" Simon said.



"Huh, what? "



"Yeah, me too. Sing a song Kyle" I also said.



"I'll sing along with you. What about that? " Simon proffered.



"Aww! I'll love to hear the both of you singing" I beseeched



"Okay" Kyle agreed and cleared his throat.

Simon did the same.



Kyle resumed:

He paused and expected Simon to continue from where he stopped at but all Simon sang was;

And we bursted into laughter.

Is that how to sing? Is he rapping or something?

Never knew he was this funny.
