Chapter 26

Bella Morgan
I squatted down in front of Rector and I can see that his neck already full of blood. I pointed the knife at him and he laughed.
"You're Lexington's daughter huh?" Rector asked and I turned to my uncle. He already have his gun ready but I already have another plan in mind.
"Just do it, Bella!" My dad bursted and I turned to Alan.
"Do it.. he killed your family." Alan said and I never thought he would agree to me killing his dad. Rector laughed and Alan gave me a nod.
"I couldn't turn him in but I'll let you kill him and I will shut my mouth-" My dad shot Alan's thigh and I turned to my dad in disbelief. Alan was groaning in pain and I dropped my knife to check on him.
"You son of a-" My dad bursted but before I could turn my head, I felt a knife going through my back. My dad immediately shot Rector and I took out the knife from my thigh. I groaned in pain and my dad quickly picked me up from the ground.
He rushed out and I saw the cars already came. He quickly put me in the car but I stopped him from coming in.
"Please help Alan.." I said and my dad shook his head.
"Please!" I begged him and he looked at me sadly.
"Go!" My dad closed the door and he asked the chauffeur to go. I tried to get up but my dad's man hold me down so I won't lose more blood. Before I could get up, I passed out.
Alan Reyes
"Alan.. help me." I heard my dad still alive despite Bella's dad already shot him multiple times.
"Go to hell, dad." I tried to get up but my thigh hurt to bad. I turned to see Bella's dad is back and he took the knife from the ground.
"The police already on their way." He said to me and I sighed.
"Leave us.. just make sure that Bella is okay." I said to him.
"I spare you your life because my daughter begged me to. If I see you make a wrong move in the future, you'll die in my hands." He said as he cut the rope around my hands and then he walked away. I heard my dad laughing and I heard police sirens coming towards us.
Not long after that, I heard a lot of police come to us and they picked me up get medical help because I was bleeding a lot on my thigh.
From this point, I didn't care about my dad anymore. Three days ago, I'm done with him. Today, I know that he was the one who killed Bella's family. He even slit her back and I saw that scar clearly.
I don't even have the face anymore to see Bella. My dad killed a lot of people already and he deserved to die or get the punishment.
The doctor treated my wounds and the police started to ask me questions. I didn't tell them about Bella and her dad. I just told them about my dad's sin and how he deserves to go to jail.
They informed me that all the person that were killed before actually involved in a really big crime along with my dad. They made millions out of human trafficking, drug dealing and some other illegal stuffs.
The people that my dad killed in the past were actually the people who knew about his crimes. They're trying to report him but he caught them. The police investigated on me too and they gave me details about my dad's crime and the list of people that died because of him.
When I saw Lexington's name, I found a set of list. I started to go through every names and found out about Bella's family. Apparently Bella's real parents was the one who started this fight against my dad.
My dad kidnapped them and threatened them by bringing their kids. It was tragic and I couldn't see the last details because my dad was so brutal.
The only thing that I'm worried about right now is Bella okay? My dad stabbed her and I couldn't even help her. My heart crushed seeing her in such pain. She has trauma from her past and then she still has to deal with my dad's shit.
I bet she's patiently wanted to kill him and me back then.
"Mr. Reyes, we want to ask you if Ms. Bella Morgan involved in this?" The police asked and I shook my head.
"Why?" I asked.
"We saw her motor bike at the CCTV and she's heading to the place where you and your father got tied up."
"No, she's just my ex-girlfriend. She has nothing to do with all of this." I said and the police nodded. They asked me a couple of questions and then they went out.
I got discharged after two weeks in the hospital. I just need to recover from the scars. Hannah helped me to sit down on the living room and I turned on the TV. Reyes Oil's currently under investigation and my dad will be try on trial soon.
I'm still wondering if.. Bella is okay. I tried to call her but she blocked my number.
"Hannah, can you get in touch with Bella's secretary and ask how she's doing? I just need to know." I said and Hannah nodded. She walked out and I decided to lay down planning to sleep.
"Mr. Reyes.." I turned to Hannah.
"What?"
"I just called Ms. Morgan's secretary, she said that Ms. Morgan is doing fine." I let out a breath of relieve.
"Very well.."
"And.. Ms. Morgan was wondering if she could visit you tonight?" I raised my eyebrows and nodded.
"She will visit you around 7 p.m." Hannah said and I nodded. She ended the call and I asked her to buy flowers and call our private chef to cook us dinner.
