Chapter Three

Livy took Kia to the doctor's office, but she didn't stop talking about Doctor Sean. Kia didn't understand how a girl like her would be interested in an old doctor. He didn't want to ask her because he didn't want her to think he was interested. 

"Although I have a crush on him, I don't know if he'd be interested in me." She held his hand as they both came to a halt. "How do I look?" 

Kia looked at her for a few seconds. Should he be honest? He asked himself but seeing how serious she is about Doctor Sean, he gave her his honest opinion. "You look amazing. If he is not an old man, I don't see why he shouldn't fall for you."

"Old man?" Livy laughed. *Was he thinking Doctor sean is an old man?* Livy laughed a bit more after thinking about it. 

"Isn't he an old man?" Kia asked.

Livy didn't say a word but opened the door of the Doctor's office for Kia to come in. "Why don't you take a look for yourself?" Kia entered and Livy entered after him, shutting the door.

They saw someone wearing a white lab coat checking something through a microscope. The person seem to be very focused because he didn't move an inch when Kia and Livy came in.

"Livy, is that you?" The voice turned to ask.

Kia almost choked. He was wrong when he said Doctor Sean was an old man. The man sitting a few meters away from him looks very handsome with his green eyes and curly black hair and not to mention the color and shape of his lips. Who knew having a brown upper lip and an orange lower lip would look so great on a man? *Damn*! *he is handsome. *Kia thought. *He looks like he is in his late twenties. *Kia couldn't believe he was checking this guy out, he couldn't even count how many times he blinked his eyes just to wake up from this beautiful nightmare.

"Hi." Sean stretched his hand in front of Kia. Kia was about to shake his hand when Sean pulled his hand back as he took off the gloves in his hand. "Sorry about that, I was working on something and I had to wear my glove." He explained before stretching his hand again for the handshake. "I am Sean Vicent."

Kia gracefully shook his hand. "K...Kia" He said after finding his voice.

Sean walked closer to Livy and poked her cheeks. "And here is my little menace."

Livy's heart was beating without any music. Without looking at the mirror, she could tell that her cheeks flushed a little. 

Kia stood staring watching them as they were getting along. "What brings you here?" Sean asked.

"He needs some aspirin."

Sean looks at Kia and then back at Livy. "Is it because of the vibration?" 

Kia looked at Sean.* Does that mean Sean also knows about the vibration thing and the after effect? How many patients has he treated? *Kia wondered.

Livy nodded to Sean's question. "Do you think he needs it?" He asked. Livy walked closer to Kia and asked if he was still feeling the pain. Kia touched his forehead but to his surprise, the headache was gone.

"I don't feel any pain. How is that even possible?" he asked.

"Although I am a Doctor, I don't yet have an answer to that," Sean answered. Before any further conversation could take place, a patient was rushed in having bleeding ears and nose.

Kia and Livy had to excuse Sean so he could take care of the patients but they could hear Sean conversing with the student that brought the patient, asking her if it was due to the vibration and they also heard the girl confirming it.

"I told you if you are lucky, you won't need those pain -killers," Livy said skipping on her way to the class but before she could go any further, Kia held her hand. 

"What is going on in this school that I should know about?" He asked. "And I am not taking nothing as an answer."

Livy dragged her hand away from his grip because he was holding her tightly and she was sure her wrist was going to have bruises. "I don't know okay? All I know are rumors based on what I heard people say and you know it's not right to pay attention to rumors."

Kia bit his lower lip in frustration. *Is she trying to lecture me?* He asked himself. "Well, I am the type who pays attention to rumors."

Livy sighed. "Fine but make sure no one hears about this and I mean, no one."

Kia nodded. She gestured for him to come closer and when he did, she whispered some words into his ear. "What? All six of them?" Kia asked his voice raising up a bit louder. Livy was scared he would put her into trouble so she quickly used her hand to cover his mouth. 

"I told you not to say it out loud." 

Kia bit her hand making her yelp in pain. "What was that for?"

"That's for you touching me without permission and for telling me to shut up when crazy things are happening in this school."

"So what do you have in mind, then?" Livy asked.

"Something your little brain can not contain." With that, he left.

Livy scoffed. "I am such a fool for thinking you are someone that can be reasoned with." She yelled loud enough for him to hear. "Make sure you don't ask me for information or get close to me." She added.

*List of people to avoid, Kia Xen*. She muttered before walking back to class.

What happened to those students? What will Kia do to find out the truth and is it possible for him to find out the truth without Livy's help? Would Livy help him even if he came to her for help?
