Chapter 19

A soft breeze of air touches her skin which makes her close her eyes and savor the sweet essence of the wind and nature. Her heart was overwhelmed because of the ambiance of the hacienda, it was full of trees and plants. Beautiful flowers, every color of flowers are there, she can't get enough of looking at her surroundings, she was like walking in a secret magical garden. Somehow her emotions softened, she calmed, this is where she wanted to be. She doesn't know that Hades was into gardens and she thinks it's was cute, it was manly and she loves it.

"Where is he by the way?" she spun slowly as she plucked a white Calla lily and smell it.

"Are you looking for me?" a deep and a husky voice asked and she nearly startled from where she was standing at.

"Oh! you frightened me," she answered as she puts her hand in her chest and smiled at him. Hades slowly walks towards her direction and now they were only an inch away.


"Are you somehow afraid of me Ana?" he asked and she could almost smell his minty breath.

"Sometimes, I'm afraid if you get mad but I am not afraid of you because I know that you will not hurt me," she answered as she slowly travels her hands in his chest which makes him inhales deeply. Every time she touches her it was like it's his weakness, yes this makes it for him clearly, Lissana was his weakness.

"The flower you are holding is a perfect description of yours Ana," he says as he looks at her deeply in her eyes.

"Calla lily?" she slowly asked and he just watches her lips move he already wanted to taste those luscious lips of her and make her moan his name again but he should hold himself. He should not take advantage of her, once and twice are enough or maybe he thought.

"It symbolizes magnificence and beauty, like you Ana."


"It's too good to be true Hades," she laughs softly on his statement.


"Can't take my eyes off you," he sang which makes her froze. She never heard him sing, and she must admit that even if he only sang a few lyrics of it, he immediately captured her heart again and again. Hades took a step forward and now their heads and nose are close to each other and their breathing looks dangerously under wild romance that they can't both describe.

"We should walk back in the house," Lissana breaks the silence as much as she wanted to be kissed by those tempting lips of his she wants her dignity and respect as a woman, she doesn't want to be kissed in a public place even though there are no people around them, they were only two of them and Michael is inside of the house. On the other hand, Hades can read what was on her mind and he completely understands that. As much as he wanted to kiss her, he still wanted to obey what she wanted and because he loves her.


"That's a good idea," he answered and a smile put in his lips. Besides he has a lot of plans for them to do while they are here in the hacienda.


"Hades?"

"Hmm?" he gestured as they walk back to the house, she is starting to feel comfortable to him and that is what he always wanted, yes they had sex but there is still a barrier that he wants to be broken and let him in her world and now it is happening.

"I'm hungry," she blushed as she says those words which makes him smile. The smile which makes Lissana crazy, those smile in his lips which will make every woman crazy and fell in love, those dangerous smile.


"Why didn't you say so? Don't worry Michael had prepared already our food," he answered and they together fell in silence which makes Hades thought about the two men. He was still puzzled about those two men. Why are they after her, why her? There were no traces about who had sent them neither, he can't even predict it which makes him mad. But one thing is for sure, whoever it is has a lot of knowledge about him.


Flashback
"Señor Hades, can I talk to you?" Michael asked as he entered the room. "You may, Michael, what is it and you are so serious this time? Does anything bother you? Or someone I think?" he smiled and pour liquor in his glass.

"No, not that, I have taken care of that someone," he smiled back but vanishes quickly and gone serious again, that is what Michael is.

"So tell me."

"Do you believe in the deities?"

"Why you asked?"

"I don't know either but there are somethings wrong."


"Are is a lot and what is that?"

"I don't know either."


"I feel the same way about you Michael, I notice that too," he says as he took a sip of his glass and watched Michael walk near in the glass window.

"How could a deity tell you what you are destined with? Why is the deity helping you? Does it may lead you to the right path with the wrong person or a wrong path with the right person. It may lead you to a different path and turn your destiny in a different route that was supposed to be yours. Why is the deity telling you what to do?"

"Are you telling me that the deities are lying?"


"I don't know Señor, I don't know."





"Where is your ring Ana?" he suddenly asked out of the blue. "My ring? Here," she answered questioningly as she shows him the ring in her hand and he can't be mistaken he had seen it changed color from black to violet.

"Your father gave it to you right?"


"Yes, he gave it to me before he was gone as I thought," she answered and a bit puzzled as she thought about something.

"You're quite unsure of your answer Ana," he said and held her hand as they walk, her hands were now cold. He held her hand and she somehow felt the warmness that she could not feel anymore the coldness.

"On the day he gives me this ring is the day he was gone and that is why I am quite unsure like it was a ghost who gives it to me or his angel, a guardian you know. A guardian that looks like him, talks like him, and touches like him," she said and he can feel the pain and loneliness on her voice.


"Do you miss your mother?" he suddenly asked which makes Lissana looks at him, which makes her question herself on why he was asking her this now but even though she would answer him honestly, she doesn't even know why but she doesn't feel about lying to him, it was like she should be and should be honest to him.


"Yes, of course, I miss her a lot even though she changed but she is still my mother and that will never change, believe it or not way back then when my father still lives, she was the most loving mother to me and a wife to my father. We always go to a picnic, we eat happily, yes we were happy and we are blessed, together my mom and dad sing their favorite song after we eat and that was the most beautiful picture of all time in my life Hades, that was the most beautiful songs here in my heart, that was my family Hades and that was me way back then. And now look at me, yes I may be smiling and looking great now but you can't take away the pain and sadness here in my heart, I am happy that you are here, by my side, you don't know how happy I am," she answered and held tighter his hand which makes Hades looks at her and they stop walking, they were already near in the house.


"You will no longer bear that sadness and pain for I am with you, forever."
