Chapter 53

Lissana woke up and discover herself in a sofa bed and wrapped with white sheets. She smelled something delicious, which makes her hungry.

'You're awake," Hades said and laugh. He was wearing an apron and only on his tight boxers and Lissana can see his sex bulging out. He was handsome from the depth of his eyes to the gentle expressions of his voice. God, Lissana wants to think he was sent from above, he is too perfect. He was handsome from his generous opinions to the touch of his hand upon my own. He had the kind of face that stopped you in your tracks every woman or girls would stop just to gaze his face drool all over him. He had tousled dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous. His eyes were a mesmerising deep ocean blue, flecks of silvery light performed ballets throughout. His face was powerful and defined, his features molded from granite. The ocean was fooling her mind, it was the effect or filter of the ocean, that's why he looks so hot. Why did she even love this man?

Hades couldn't help but to smirk. Should he tell her he can hear her thoughts? Maybe this is the perfect time to tell her the things.

'Ana are you hungry? I cooked barbeque and here have some cold soda, maybe this simple things will give you much lighter rather than eating expensive dishes," he said and tossed her a soda which she immediately catches.

'You tell me, this is way better. We should do this all the time…I wish," the last words were almost a whisper, but he could hear it clearly.

They both sat and near to each other and busy on what they were eating when Hades had the urge to speak. He had decided to tell her the truth of who really is.

'Do you believe in Gods?" he asked which makes Lissana look at his way, why would he bring something like that up? But she should answer his weird question.

'Yes, I believe on them. But we only have one God, and the rest are disciples and some are myths. Why do you suddenly ask me these things?"

'I don't know where to start but would you believe me if I told you how old I am?" Hades asked and Lissana wanted to laugh but she keeps her mouth shut, his eyes were too serious and she can feel the atmosphere that he had build was way too far she didn't know where this could come.

'From the first time we meet from our house I saw something different from you, your aura was different I don't know how to explain. The first time our eyes met, I feel connected to you but that was wrong, you were my mom's husband and you were my step-father but that night you hold my arm and called me Ysabella, my heart keeps pounding and I am having strange dreams," she stated while looking through his eyes.

'I'm old Ana, older than you can imagine. And believe me if I tell you this because maybe all of your dreams were true I don't know but the deities are messing up with your memories. I know it is hard to understand and to believe maybe now your thinking if I am crazy or something but I can read your mind, what you're thinking and please don't think about kissing me now this is serious Ana," he said and look through her eyes and Lissana gasp and her face turned red, she was ashamed how could he blurted those put and he can read her mind.

'I wasn't thinking of that," she said and roll her eyes to him which makes Hades chuckled.

'I think this is the right place to tell you where I came from, but would you even believe me?"

'Try me."

'Way back in the past I was a prince, in fact a king of an empire. I have a decoy and his names was Helios. We were brothers by father and I was the first son. You and I got married to have our kingdom more powerful. But Helios betrayed me, he killed me that night. And years passed, I was walking in a desert island. Holding the words I kept in my heart, to come back and find you until the deities decided and give me another chance but that chance was a cursed but if it means to find and see you I took that risk. Being an immortal is a cursed, people wanted to be an immortal, but they don't know the true meaning of that. Being like this gives you the scene of death, seeing your friends gone, your trusted assistants gone, even your dogs be buried, seeing your love one's die, still you haven't aged. Many people think being immortal is a bliss, something that is priceless, a thing that one would do next to anything for. Their thoughts confuse me greatly; is it a bliss to live long enough to see all your loved one's die? To wander around the world in loneliness, for every friend you ever made has run out of time to spend with you? I think not. It is not a bliss it is a curse," he stated and Lissana can't help but to shed tears she felt a pang in her heart that she can't explain and Hades immediately wipes it away.

'Why do I have this feeling that I have known you in such a long time even though I just met you and the funny thing is you are my step-father. From the day that you have to step into our house my heart keeps aching and my body and even me was longing in you, your stares, your scent, your presence and I even want your full attention, I want you Hades even though I know it's wrong," she sobs and Hades can't help but to look at her with pain in his eyes.

'Please stop crying I hate it when I saw you shed tears, it pains me to see you like this. Do you believe me?" he asked and touch her cheeks while her hair was waving through the air.

As Lissana was about to speak, a loud thunder uproars the sky. Stormy clouds roll in, blocking the bright sun. With no warning, total darkness prevailed as clouds thickened and it struck the sky as the wind arose to push the still waters to choppy, which morphed into mountains of angry waves. Shadows swallow the last rays of light, and thunder crackles through the air. Rain begins to pour furiously, drowning any sight of certainty. The waves grew so large that it dwarfed the vessel, riding up and down the mighty swelling sea like a child's toy. The air was thick with a briny mist, the deck awash with salty waves. It was a sunny day and yet it was fast of the weather to be like this, as far as Hades concern he had to check the weather before they have to do this, and the weather today supposed to be a sunny day. The wind that had pushed against the boat, not playfully but with gathering strength, saw no reason to dwindle. The air became thick with salt, carried by a gale that could only sing a single note. It was a sea storm promising nothing but hardship and tale of recovery for anyone that made it out with their skin.

Total darkness prevailed as the dismal clouds overcast the cartilaginous sky and the wind arose, causing waves to tower over their helpless boat. They were caught in a violent storm. Seagulls soared freely over the sky without a care in the world.

Lissana grabs the hand of Hades with fear in her eyes and Hades holds her hand reassuring her that everything is fine.

'I'm here," he said and grips her small hand. It was cold, and he senses fear in her eyes.

The ring on her finger changes its color to black, sensing danger will come.
