'How could she do this to me? Eva that bitch!!! She was the only one who knew Emily was still alive but I never disclosed the location to Eva, so how did she find out?' A lot of questions were running through my head as I watched Eva bring Emily into the dining room..... Treason of the highest caliber.
They are all oblivious of the hidden camera I had placed in between a flower vase in the dining room and other locations within the house. I had Clara, the maid, implant a camera in Emily's house as well so I could watch her every move but I didn't see this one coming.... Especially not from my best friend.
Eva and I has gone a long way back like the soul sisters, ever since I met her at the Cafe during my college years and we just seemed to clicked from the first conversation and as fate had it she became my only friend I had, We did everything together not just because of the fact that we're roommates but because I can relate on a different level with her.... She completes my universe.
Things started to change a little bit when she started dating Chase Beckmann the star quarterback of our university football team, she became too busy for me.... For us. She went to parties with him and only popular students were allowed, her grades dropped and overall he was a bad influence on her. I flashed back to the time I tried to tell her about her new behavior.
"I've been wanting to tell you something Eva" I had said.
"Go on, I'm listening" Eva said as she applied her make up preparing to go out with Chase for an all night party again.
"Don't you think you and Chase should slow down a bit, I mean you're faltering in your grades and it's obviously because of him. Look I care about you and I want the best for you alright-".
"No you don't want the best for me Skyler, you're just jealous that I'm having the time of my life with a hot guy. You're just bitter!" Eva interrupted with venom in her voice. That one cut me deep and I just lost my temper completely.
"That guy is obviously a player!! Everybody else sees it except you, you're blind to his antics" I used the same tone on her as well.
"Go get yourself a man so you can keep out of other people's business" Eva stormed out of the room without finishing her makeup. The choice of remaining single was a personal choice and she knew that was why she attacked me with my insecurities.
After that argument I vowed not to pry into her business anymore and left her to her fate, as fate would have it I got into a relationship with Alex and I wasn't the creepy single lady anymore, Eva and I started talking again after a sincere apology from me. Day after day my obsession with Eva grew even more to the point she was like a sister to me.
We got into some sticky situations with our lecturers regularly and we got out of them without a scratch or giving sex in return. Eva's grades were back to top form and my and Alex's relationship had been moving smoothly except for one thing.
"Where did you get that black eye?" I asked Eva who had come home last night looking like a beaten up one eyed pirate.
"Oh uhhh.... Yeah about that..... I uhh got into a fight with a crazy bitch at the parking lot, I beat her up but she left her mark" Eva stuttered, I had a feeling she was lying because she was averting her eyes from my stare when she was replying.
"Did Chase do this to you?" I asked angrily.
"What?? No.... No way he'd do that to me, stop thinking rubbish" Eva tried to wave the issue off.
"Hmmmm, okay then but try to take some Meds for the pain" I said watching her apply another layer of makeup to cover the bruises on her face. Chase had a long history of abusing his girlfriends, one time he beat up his girlfriend so much that she was sent to the E.R this was why I didn't want Eva to have anything with him in the first place and now she's regretting her choice but she's too proud to open up and say it or admit it when I tell her.
"I will, so are you going to the Frat party this weekend?" Eva asked to change the topic.
"Yeah I am, I heard it's an all nighter".
"Is Alex coming?".
"Yeah he is, I'm planning on making love with him at the party" I said excitedly, I've been planning this for months now and I think it's about time me and Alex took our love life to another stage.
"Oh wow, I'm so happy for you..... Is it your first time?".
"It's not my first time, but with him.... Yeah" I said shyly, I was so nervous about it.
"It's going to be alright everything will be fine" Eva's words reassured me, that's why I loved her. She always had a word of upliftment for me or said something that would make me feel better.
The frat party was placed on a Saturday because the lecturers won't be there to spoil the fun and drinking spree that will ensue, Alex was looking dashing that day he wore a denim jacket that sat perfectly on his broad shoulders. After drooling over him for a minute I managed to get up from beside him and look for Eva, I saw her at the spiked punch table.
"Hey Eva, where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you".
"I just arrived sorry, Chase had to uhhhhh do something with his car" Eva lied.
"Where's he now?" I asked, giving her a look of suspicion. Eva moved her eyes about nervously giving herself away.
"Enough about him let's go have some fun" Eva dragged me towards the dance floor, She reeked of tequila and punched. I followed her because she was obviously drunk and needed someone to take her out of there in case of emergency or vomiting.
We swirled on the dance floor for some minutes, Eva danced like she never danced before.... drunk and with so much seductive swagger, The captain of our school football team Jasper Wayne came up from behind and started rocking her body according to the slow Jamaican twerk beat that the DJ has now started playing.
Eva seemed not to have noticed Chase pushing people to make his way to the dance floor, neither did Jasper. Chase landed a hook on Jace's jawline that sent him flying across the dance floor, everyone let out a long "ooouuu", The DJ stopped the song abruptly.
"Why were you dancing with him slut?" Chase shouted his question at her, grabbing her arm roughly.
"It's a party, aren't I allowed to dance with who I want? It's not as if I WAS KISSING HIM OR Anything!!" Eva shouted the last part because Chase's grip was hurting her, she struggled feebly against his grip and he wrenched her arm trying to drag her out of the party.
"Come with me slut, I will show you what happens when you dance around with other guys!!" Chase said trying to drag her outside, Eva managed to pull herself free from his hold.
"LEAVE ME ALONE YOU MONSTER!!!" Eva screamed at him, Next moment he hit her so hard that the poor girl slumped on the floor unconscious.
"That was unnecessary bro".
"Damn he knocked out his girl".
"Someone call 911".
Different murmurs were being said around the room but my body shook with so much rage I couldn't hear them, right now all I wanna do is to kill the monster in front of me.
"So you have been abusing her you MONSTER!".
"Girls that act like sluts deserve to be treated like sluts" Chase said indifferently as if he hadn't just knocked out the girl he claims he loves. 'So that's why she was acting strange earlier and he's probably the reason why she drank too much'.
"I'll make sure you regret this I swear!!!" I screamed at him in rage, I felt his backhand swipe past my face making me stumble a few feet back. Alex punched him the next instant, that's when people started separating the combatants.
"You better run as fast as you can Chase cause If I get a hold of you I'm going to kill you I swear to God I will !!! " I clutched my throbbing left eye as I swore for all eyes to see the deed that I will always hide in secret and keep from everyone including Eva the person I did it for, I planned and executed the death of Eva's douchebag abusive boyfriend Chase Beckmann.
"You're just big talk, I can't be killed by a weak bitch like you" as Chase spat the words Alex lunged at him again landing two more punches before the crowd separated them again.
"Better watch your mouth Chase or I'm going to watch it for you" Alex was looking very angry which made him look two times hotter than before. Some people from the crowd escorted Chase out of the party while the others were still trying to revive Eva.
"Are you okay baby? Let me see that eye" I released my eye and let him examine it, it was throbbing and now it's watering up.
"That's bad, we need to get you to a clinic" His voice was filled with so much worry. I allowed him to carry me outside to his car then we drove off to the clinic.
"I hope Eva is going to be alright" I asked worried sick about my bestie.
"She'll be fine, she's being taken home right now. You should be worrying about yourself".
I could barely see the road ahead of me now, my eyes are watering more than before and it hurts when I roll my eyes in my sockets. 'That Chase, I'm going to kill him!!'
At the clinic the doctors took too much time examining my eye so Alex offered to drop me off at my hostel instead of the party insisting that I should rest and take care of the now asleep Eva. I wanted Alex to sleep over but I know that wasn't possible so I thought of a nasty trick to put him to the test.
"Thanks for dropping me off babe" I said when my hostel gate came into view.
"No problem dear, I would have thought that Chase a lesson-".
"You did baby, hey why don't you come inside and share a glass with me before you go..... I would love that".
"Okay sweetie, one glass then I'm out and you'll be off to bed".
We got inside and I rushed to my medicine box and grabbed two pills, one Viagra aphrodisiac and one xanax pill, the combination is bound to make Alex super high and very horny and with me not being with him at the party I know he would have no choice but to get a girl to satisfy his urges. Alex drank his orange juice oblivious of the pills I had crushed inside of his drink.
"Thanks for the juice babe, I guess I'll be seeing you tomorrow?" Alex asked, preparing to leave.
"Yes, I will call you tomorrow. '' He kissed me goodnight but it didn't light up for me yet. After hearing his car zoom down the street I went to see how Eva was holding up. I was surprised to hear her snoring peacefully. I wore a black hoodie with black sweatpants and headed back to the party hoping to catch Alex compromising our relationship.
When I got to the party it was so late that almost everybody had passed out, some in their own vomit, while some were sprawled around the house like refugees. A few people were still awake drunk dancing so I approached one of them if they saw Alex. They told me he was upstairs but warned me against going up there.
"If you go there, there's no coming back," one said.
"Yeah broooo, you can't unsee it" The other added laughing, it's obvious they were high to stupor and would definitely pass out soon. I couldn't see Liam anywhere so I went upstairs myself to scout for Alex. I stood at the door overhearing his conversation with Emily.
"Nobody is going to know Emily, please just this once" Alex's words slurred, a sign he was very high.
"But what about your girlfriend?" Emily asked, scared.
"She won't know about this, I won't tell her if you don't"
"I can't do it Alex, I just can't.... Let go of me!!" Emily struggled against Alex's firm grip with helplessness, the girl was drunk. Alex muffled her screams with his hand and undressed her halfway with the savageness of a caveman, he thrusted into her with the speed of a jack rabbit on heat, he kept on pounding her mercilessly as Emily struggled for air before falling limp and giving in to his masculinity. I stood by the half open door watching my boyfriend rape Emily, I stood by the half open door with my camcorder recording it all in 4K.
