Chapter 25

**Skyler**
Emily was unconscious by the time Alex finished his shameful act, I shut off my camera and watched what would happen next. Alex became delirious with hypertension as he tried to revive Emily, I saw he was in a state of shock so now would be the best time to be the caring girlfriend.
"Alex what happened here?" I asked with mock surprise, Alex stared at me in disbelief and with so much shock that he couldn't even move his lips.
"I...... I....... We were dared to have sex.... I didn't want to do it but...... I was just so-" Alex stuttered helplessly.
"And now she's dead? Nobody is going to believe your story Alex".
"I know..... But it's the truth..... Skyler, you have to believe me please!!" Alex was already crying now, the grown man was hysterical like a little child. I thought about the whole situation and there was only one option left.
"Alex, listen to me, you have to get out of here.... Leave town for a couple of months even".
"Why.....i can't leave her like this" Alex said sobbing.
"I will clean up this mess but you have to get out of here now. If I'm caught I could say I saw her in this state but nobody would believe me if you're still here Alex so go.... GO NOW!!" Alex grabbed his jacket and car keys and headed for the door.
"Skyler, I can never repay you for this... Thank you so much babe" Alex said before leaving me with the dead girl. I started cleaning up the scene of the crime, eradicating any evidence left by Alex or Emily. That was when I noticed Emily's chest moving up and down in a breathing motion. I quickly locked the door and started trying to revive her, I sprinkled some water down her nose and she choked back to life coughing.
"Where..... Where am I?" She seemed quite unable to collect her thoughts.
"You're at the frat house party Em, and I have video evidence of the atrocity you committed with my boyfriend" I told her acidly, I've never liked Emily and what Alex did with her made me dislike her even more.
"I didn't want to do it, he forced himself on me!!!" Emily cried.
"Nobody is going to believe your shame story, Alex Montero has other things to do than to force himself on you" I said.
"What am I going to do now?" Emily said crying, it seems she has given up.
"Well the best thing is to run away, away from here, away from anyone who knows the truth, run as fast as you can and never tell anyone about what happened here".
"Please help me out here, I don't know where to go neither do I have the money" Emily begged.
"If you stay, I'll be forced to upload the video and let everyone know about how much of a slut you are. So you better start thinking about a place to go and if money is the issue I would give you that" My threats seem to be working cause now Emily started crying even more.
"I have a place, it's far away from here. I need at least two thousand dollars to get there..".
"You have to leave tonight and it will be as if nothing ever happened, I'll be at the train station waiting for you with the money" I walked out of the room leaving her to her misery, I pondered on my test and how Alex failed it but now I have enough evidence to keep him with me FOREVER.
It was past midnight when I saw Emily coming with her box of things still sobbing a little bit, I pressed two thousand five hundred dollars into her hand.
"I added an extra five hundred incase you got hungry or needed extra cash, did anybody see you?".
"Nobody saw me, thank you so much Skyler. I appreciate your help" Emily said sincerely.
"Well better board your train now cause this is where I leave you" I hugged her like a friend then started off towards my hostel back to Eva and back to my boy toy Alex. The taxi dropped me off at 1:45 and I was so damn tired I couldn't make it up the stairs before I passed out in the hallway.
The next few days passed like a breeze, people inquired about Emily but they were without a clue on her whereabouts, Alex was super happy that his name hadn't been soiled and he wasn't in prison for rape and murder. As for Eva she became withdrawn after what happened with Chase at the party and sometimes she shows signs that she misses him or yearns for his touch again.
"Hey E, are you going out tonight? I have two tickets to a movie tonight. Wanna come?" I asked Eva who had been locking herself inside her room for the past few days. She gave me a shrug to say 'I don't know'.
"You can't be locking yourself up in here forever, everybody is going to think Chase is the cause of it".
"Isn't he the cause of it?" Eva asked coldly.
"That doesn't mean you should make it so obvious, and what's more you're acting cold towards me and your other friends"
"Everyone should leave me alone.... Including you" Eva said harshly.
I didn't bother with her anymore, I just let her do her thing and whenever she chose to come out of it she would. I went to the movies with Alex instead and he showered me with so much love and affection...... for the first time in a long time I was actually happy, happy for us, happy for the world to see. We made out in the cinema, made out in his car after the movie, made out when he dropped me off at my hostel.
"When will I get to see you again my love?" Alex asked, rubbing my chin affectionately.
"I don't know yet sweetie, I still have to take care of Eva and with exams coming-" Alex shut me up with a passionate kiss which lingered for minutes before we broke apart panting hard.
"I have to go now, it's getting late," I said, smiling.
"I want you to have something before you go" Alex produced a red medium sized teddy with the words "I will always love you" written on the chest in italic font.
"Awww Nnnn it's so cute, I love you so much Alex" I hugged him.
"I'm glad you like it, it will always be a reminder of our love" We kissed again before I exited his car with my new teddy, I was so eager to tell Eva all about my wonderful day with Alex, I rushed up the stairs with lightning speed almost tripping myself halfway. When I got into my room it was empty, Eva wasn't there and her bed had been arranged as if she hadn't slept on it that day, I searched the whole dorm for her but I couldn't find her so I started listing a few places she could have gone to and Chase's house was leading the top ten so I decided to go look for her there.
I arrived at Chase's extravagant crib close to eight o'clock. If Eva had been here then Chase must've been teaching her some kind of lesson so I came prepared ready to fight for my friend. I got inside without knocking because he left the door unlocked, when in the living room I shouted his name as loud as I could to get his attention, he came out a few seconds later yawning.
"What are you doing in my house? It's late" He asked, rubbing his eyes.
"Where is Eva, what have you done to her?" I asked the two questions as one.
"I don't know where Eva is, I haven't seen her for days and I haven't done anything to your missing friend".
"Don't give me that crap I know she's in here somewhere, you're probably hiding her and using her for your own pleasure you monster!!" I cried.
"Okay this joke is getting too crazy, I don't know what you're talking about and what's more I will not be accused of such things in my HOUSE!!" Chase was getting irritated now, what was I thinking coming here without any means of protecting myself against this wild brute.
"If she's not here then where is she?" I stalling trying to think of a way to escape.
"I don't know!! Better get your facts right before barging into someone's house" Chase was advancing slowly now, I backed up slowly too.
"She'll never forgive you for what you did to her!! ".
"Who cares about her forgiveness? All I care about right now is this incredible hottie standing in front of me" Chase said seductively, coming closer and closer.
"You're just a sick bastard Chase, first you used and abused my best friend and now you're trying to make me your victim" I was so angry right now.
"You don't have to be called a victim but if that's what you choose to call yourself it's fine by me" He has backed me into the kitchen now and there's no other way out other than going around him and he's not going to let me do that.
'I wish I had brought a gun' I thought to myself.
"Ever since our fight my body has been yearning for you Skyler, you're so fierce and vibrant it's turning me on '' I saw a boner elongating from his drawls.
"Don't sweat it kid, you can't have me" I said sarcastically.
"What I can't have, I collect by force" With that he made a move to grab my neck but I dodged and backed away from him again.
"Nice, I see you are pretty agile as well. But how long can you dodge huh?" He clutched at me again and this time I couldn't dodge on time, he caught me and pulled me against his chest.
"Alex can't handle your fire, let me show you I can love you better" His words sparked my anger like a matchstick soaked in petrol. I kicked his balls making him crumple on the floor in pain, I ran for the door but discovered it had been locked mysteriously. I turned around to see him limping towards me with anger and killer intent.
"You bitch!! I'll make sure you pay for this" He pounced on me and started choking me. I fought for air as his hands tightened around my neck, my vision started blacking out slowly. My hands searched for a weapon or anything I could use to get him off me and I stumbled on a wooden decoration mantelpiece, I swung it as hard as I could and the sharp edge collided with his skull fracturing it in the process. Chase slumped on the floor lifeless, I disentangled myself from him and massaged my throat which was aching seriously. I went into the kitchen to drink some water to ease the painful throbbing in my throat.
Chase was still on the floor when I came back from the kitchen. I checked his pulse, checked if he was breathing but I got nothing.....I had killed Chase Beckmann. At first I panicked not knowing what to do then I decided the best thing to do is to get rid of the evidence and his body as soon as possible, I found a pair of leather gloves in his backyard shed with it I cleaned the damage we caused during our struggle and I loaded his body into his car and drove off to a bridge far outside campus.
With the gloves on I arranged Chase's limp body in the drivers seat and pushed his car into the river so it will look like an accident more than a murder and I'm thankful I didn't mark his body else it would be traced back to me. When I got back to my hostel I found Eva in high spirits which was a very surprising thing.
"Hey Skyler, where have you been?" Eva asked cheerfully.
"I was out uhh.... running a few errands" I lied.
"What's that mark on your neck?".
"Oh, that? You know Alex and his love bites" I chuckled.
"Enough about me, where have you been? And why the good mood?" I was surprised.
"I went on a blind date with a guy I met online, it was at the jazz club and it was mad fun" Eva rapped on cheerfully, I'm glad to see her back to her normal self but the deed had already been done.
"Are you okay Skyler? You look lost" Eva's question snapped me back to life.
"Uh.... Oh I am just so happy for you, you've finally gotten over that Chase"
"Yes I have, ugh I can't believe I fell for him in the first place" Her words made me so happy. Eva became her normal cherry self and the killer of Chase was never discovered because the police thought it was an accident, and Eva and I became best friends once again.... Until her shocking betrayal.
