Skyler woke up feeling refreshed not just because of the mad sex she had with the hotel chef last night, because now she had a clear view on how she would go about with her assassination. Clara was still away but she'll be making her return soon and from the way things looked from her hidden cameras Alex hadn't told Petra about Eva's death, just perfect..... Petra won't be expecting her.
"Hello Clara".
"Hello Miss Skyler, how are you doing today?" Clara asked from the other side of the phone.
"I told you to stop saying Miss, Just call me Skyler. I need you for something".
"I keep forgetting sorry ma'am, I thought planting the cameras was my last job?".
"No it wasn't, this one will be the last one though...... all you have to do is just one simple task, you'll be well rewarded".
"I like rewards, so what do you need me to do?".
"Return to the house today and enter your maid role again, I will give you further instructions when you're inside".
"Okay ma'am, I will be there before noon today" with that the call ended, Skyler had made the first steps of preparation now the problem will be to avoid the police which might be watching over Petra, she decided the best time to strike would be nighttime.
Petra was worried about her sister, one because she hadn't called her since she said was going to an impromptu wedding three days ago, knowing Eva she would have been chattering about the wedding, who's about to get married, the dress of the bride, the wedding location and all that but this one was just so sudden and out of the blue, something wasn't right and Petra is not receiving any answers from Alex.
"Babe what about Skyler? Haven't heard anything about her for a while now" Petra asked as they had their shower together.
"Do we have to talk about this now?" Alex asked exasperated.
"Sure why not?".
"Okay, Skyler called me to say that she was back from her trip but when I stopped by the house nobody was home, not even Eva".
"Eva is still not returning her calls, I'm getting worried Alex something bad must have happened to her cause I've been calling her like a hundred times every day but no response or call returns' ' Petra said almost crying, pregnant women are always getting emotional over the tiniest issue. Alex rolled his eyes.
"She'll be back in a couple days as she said just let her enjoy herself for a while without you buzzing her phone every 3 minutes" It was a realistic fact but of course she would misunderstand it.
"So you're saying I'm disturbing her?" She said getting teary again.
"No no babe that's not what i-" Alex said hurriedly but she cut him off.
"That's exactly what you're saying Alex and I find it very rude" she said crossing her arms across her plump chest, Alex gulped as he accessed her body even though she was pregnant she was still a hottie........ mostly with the hot water dripping down her body like that.
"You deserve an apology my queen, in what way should I apologize?" Alex asked in a tone that made Petra legs go weak, her shoulders shivered even though the shower degree was close to 60.
"I'm sure you haven't forgotten how I like it" She could barely whisper, the sight of Alex's body sent a warm feeling to her vagina.

"You'll have more kissing time when I get back from work okay?" Alex grabbed his towel and made for the door.

His phone rang saving him because the next instant he would have forgotten about going to work and pin her to the wall....... RING!!! Alex dashed to his phone in his bedside drawer, it was his P.A calling.
"Good morning sir, you are 15 minutes late and the clients are already here waiting for you"
"Oh shit, can you stall them for like 10 minutes? I'll be there soon"
"I'll see what I can do" He hung up, Alex ran around the room dressed like he was a superhero about to go save someone or his deal.
"Slow down honey else you'll be dizzy" Petra said handing him his briefcase, Alex kissed her again.
"We'll finish what we had when I come back I promise" with that he dashed out of the house, Petra wore a sad face.
'He forgot to tell me-' Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing, she rushed to it thinking it was Eva but it was just Alex.
"Hello," Petra said.
"I love you babe".
"Love you too honey, please come back early".
"I will try honey" Hangs up.
Emily hadn't come back from her morning grocery shopping, Petra felt weird letting her do things like that but Emily insisted that she wanted to help because she saw it was okay too. Clara had returned from her recovery trip some days back but Petra was trying not to overwork her just after her recovery so she's strictly on kitchen duty and light house chores, Clara was dusting the furniture now as Petra entered the sitting room.
"Good morning ma'am, how are you doing today? I hope our baby is behaving well" Clara greeted with a smile which Petra returned.
"She's doing well, did you know she kicked while I was asleep last night. She bumped me out of my nightmare" Petra said laughing.
"Hahaha haha, you got a lovely girl she takes after you".
"I haven't been feeling lively these days, I feel like Alex has been hiding something from me but I don't know what".
"Talk to him about it?".
"He never tells me what I want to hear," Petra said pouting, Emily entered with the grocery bags at that moment.
"Clara takes these to the kitchen and whip up a quick breakfast for us, it's almost 9:00 o'clock and we still haven't eaten anything most especially you Petra, you're eating for two remember" Emily barked orders at Clara literally throwing the grocery bags at her.
"Yes miss Emily" Clara exited with the bags.
"Rude much?" Petra said glaring at Emily.
"I don't trust her one bit, I just don't know why but I don't feel comfortable around her".
"You're just paranoid, even though we caught her eavesdropping one time that doesn't mean she's not a good person".
"Okay okay whatever you say, Alex gone to work yet?" Emily said intending to change the topic.
"Yeah he has, wanted to talk to him?".
"Yeah I wanted to ask him if Liam would be dropping by today?".
"Why don't you call Liam?" Petra asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't have his number," Emily lied.
"Or you're just shy?" Petra teased.
"Stop it, have you heard from Eva since? I miss her".
"I haven't heard from her since and she doesn't return my calls".
"Are you sure she's alright?".
"She said she'll be back soon so I'm taking her word for it, the best thing is to wait" Petra said sighing, she too have been having weird feelings about Eva's sudden disappearance and Alex has been acting strange about it, that raises suspicions.
Alex's day sped off like a formula one racing car, before he knew it it was already closing time. Alex decided that the best thing to do is to go see Eva in the hospital and tell her to return her sister's calls because Petra is getting paranoid about her disappearance so he drove to the hospital with a bouquet of fresh daisies.
"How is my girl doing?" Alex teased her as soon as he entered her room, Eva smiled showing her set of whites.
"I'm doing pretty good I guess, how are you?" Eva replied.
"I've been better, Petra is getting anxious about you. Why are you not returning her calls?".
"I've been scared to talk to her, I'm afraid I might say something that will give me away. Lying to her ain't easy you know".
"I know it's not easy," Alex said as he replaced the rose with the fresh daisies he brought.
"Are those for me? Alex you shouldn't have" Eva said smiling.
"It's no problem I just picked them up from the flora shop".
"So what should I do now?" Eva asked pleadingly.
"Call her and give her an explanation for you not returning her calls".
"You mean I should lie to her again?".
"Yes!!".
"That's hard on my conscience Alex" Eva said bowing her head in defeat.
"it's for your sister's safety you need to do it".
"I guess I have no choice, I'll call her tonight and give her a believable explanation at least" Eva said shrugging.
"Hope the doctor has been nice to you?".
"Yeah everybody here is alright except that one nurse that thinks I'm your wife or something" Eva's face changed as she mentioned the nurse.
"I'll clear things out, you stay good alright? The doc said you'd be out of her within four days".
"Okay Alex, thanks for being there for me if not for you I would have been dead" Eva thanked him, Alex smiled modestly.
"You're my sister in law so I'll do anything to help you when you need it" Alex said, bringing Eva closer to tears.
"You're so kind, I really hope we get through this so that you and Petra can get married finally" Eva said, Alex said his goodbyes and called Liam as he exited the building.
"Hello bro" Liam greeted.
"Hey Liam, are you back from work yet?".
"Yeah I'm driving home right now, any problem?" Liam asked.
"Can you drop by my place later, there's something I need to tell you".
"And this can't be said over the phone?".
"No it can't".
"Okay I will be there by dinner time" Liam hanged up, Alex drove back home to his beloved Petra hoping to finish what they had this morning.
Clara's phone rang as she was cooking dinner for the Montero household, it was her evil boss Skyler calling. It was a surprise to her so she ran outside through the kitchen back door to take the call away from the eyes of Emily.
"Hello?".
"Hello Clara, hope you've been well behaved and haven't raised any suspicions?" Skyler asked.
"Other than that insolent bitch Emily I haven't had any issues since my return" Emily wasn't Clara's best friend.
"I will commence my plan tonight, remember what I told you?".
"Yes I do, after this Skyler I don't want to be part of this any more".
"Just do this one right and you will be rewarded, you won't have to do that maid job anymore, you can buy that car you've always wanted" Skyler added to convince her fully.
"Okay I understand, when do you want me to do it?" Clara asked gravely.
"Do it by 8 and leave the house afterwards for like thirty minutes. That's all you need to do"
"Okay until then" Clara hung up the call, she took a deep breath before going back inside the house to return to her normal duties. At the dinner table it was a picture filled with joy and laughter, Liam was telling a joke from he and Alex's past, Emily was laughing too hard till she choked.
"Here drink some water" Liam passed her the glass of water, she drank it and calmed her choking down.
"I think I should stop talking now, I don't want anybody choking because of my jokes" Liam said laughing.
"Aw come on now Liam we were enjoying your jokes" Petra said pouting playfully.
"Sorry dear but me and Liam have some discussion to do" Alex signaled for Liam to follow him to the sitting room.
While in the sitting room Alex discussed Clara 's sudden reappearance and what it could possibly mean.
"She's definitely hiding something that's for sure" Liam said thoughtfully.
"I have a feeling she has a hand in planting the cameras".
"She might be, there's every possibility. Look bro I know you're getting edgy and paranoid because of Skyler but the best thing is to calm down, you don't want Petra to panic do you?" Liam has a good point.
"I'll keep a close eye on her, it's getting late, let me drop you off. I'm itching for an evening drive....where is my car key?" Alex rushed upstairs to get his keys, Emily entered the sitting room.
"You're about to leave?" Emily asked with puppy eyes.
"Yes dear, I'll be back here sooner than you think love" Liam said holding her hands, looking into her eyes deeply.
"I love you Liam, I fucking love you so much...... I just can't help myself. I've fallen so deeply in love with you and I don't just think it's because I'm drunk or anything but I wish you could leave that Arianna and love me instead".
"I can't do that Em, you're a good girl and anybody would crave for your love but I'm sorry I'm not the guy for you..... I'm off the market" Emily burst into tears and Liam hugged her close and she cried on his chest soaking his shirt with tears.
"Ahhhh Mmmm" Alex cleared his throat noisily to get their attention.
"I'll see you again soon Em" Liam said, hugging her tightly as if he knew this was the last time he would be seeing her. After Alex had driven off Emily went to tell Petra about her kiss with Liam.
"So you really do like him huh?" Petra asked, laughing at her friend's flustered face.
"Well yeah isn't it obvious?" Emily's face was red as a strawberry.
"If so then take things to the next level with him but be wary of Arianna because she will be ready to fight for her man......what do you plan to do?".
"Keep trying, that's what I plan to do, I don't care if I come off as cheap, I just want to bang his brains out on our first date" They both laughed at this then Petra gave a huge yawn.
"It's almost 8 I think it's time I turn in, Alex told me not to wait for him cause he will be back late" Emily assisted her in standing up cause Petra was looking weary and worn out, Emily tucked her in and came downstairs to wait for Alex's return.
At quarter past eight Emily heard the back door closing, she thought it was Clara coming back from her mysterious stroll so she went towards the kitchen hoping to give Clara a thorough scolding but she got quite a shock when she got there. Dressed in a black hoodie, black sweatpants and a black head warmer Skyler stared back in surprise but she recovered quickly.
"You only had one job, Emily, to stay away from the drama," Skyler said menacingly.
"I couldn't stand by and let you succeed Skyler, no amount of money in the world could have covered that shame I felt when I let you bribe me into running away from the truth!!" Emily snapped back at her "What are you here to do? To do something bad to Petra I presume?".
"What do you care about?".
"I can't let you do that I'm calling the police right now" Emily made a dash for her phone, Skyler grabbed a knife from the counter and ran after her. Emily dialed 911 as soon as she grabbed her phone, she felt a cold metal pierce her lower back and she let out a loud scream of agony.
Skyler stabbed her again this time through her neck making her blood splatter round the room, Emily fell to the ground with a thud. Skyler threw away the knife and ran for her life, she was sure Emily's scream would have been heard from a neighbor or the police would be close by if Emily's call had gone through. Skyler wasn't planning on killing anybody, she planned to pour corrosive on Petra's face and watch if Alex would want her after that but her plans had an unexpected hitch in the form of Emily being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
'She deserves to die anyways, if she had stayed off grid as promised maybe she would have been alive' Skyler thought as she ran, her revenge had been spoiled today but tomorrow is another day.
Petra woke up with a jump when she heard a female scream. She almost blacked out because she stood up too fast so she had to rest on the door for a few seconds before heading downstairs, she heard footsteps then a door closing.
"Who's there?......... Is that you Clara?" She called as she went downstairs, a cold feeling crept up her spine as she saw the blood stains on the curtains tracing them into the sitting room where she found Emily's bloody corpse sprawled on the floor. Everything went black as Petra fell to ground fainting from seeing such ghastly sight, as she slowly lose her consciousness she heard Alex's voice calling to her fleetingly "Stay with me honey" but she couldn't help it, all of this had become too much for her to handle, her now awake subconscious asked questions...... What if this has something to do with Eva's disappearance?.
