Chapter 29
“Demons?" As in those evil spirits that live in hell with the devil?"
“Yes, exactly."
“Now this is getting more spooky and weird. First it was werewolves and vampires, now it's witches and demons??"
“Don't you believe in witches and demons as well?"
“Should I?" I raised my brows.
“But you believe in magic, right?" He asked.
“You mean magic tricks??"
“No, I am talking about actual magic here, like voodoo." He verified.
“I don't know. That stuff ain't scientifically proven."
“I get but science can't explain everything. There are some things science is unable to answer."
“Things like what?"
“Why are they both Evil and Good?" he said and I thought for a while.
“And does magic explain this?"
“Yes, it actually does." He said and my curiosity began surfacing.
“I will like to hear about it then."
“Evil and Good are not just some words used to qualify or attribute to a person based on the things they do. Evil and Good are actually two people on their own," he explained and my head spinned a little bit.
“Pardon? What do you mean Evil and Good are people??"
“Yes they are and all of us are being influenced by these two sets of people. It's more like the voices we hear in our head telling us to partake in a good course or a bad one," He said.
“And who are these two people?"
“The Devil and God," he replied and I went mute for a few seconds.
“Are you being serious right now?" I regained my voice and he smiled.
“Don't worry I will explain better but not now. It's almost 2 we need to start going back to school," he said and I nodded.
We both stood up and left the beautiful mini paradise as named by me...

Location: Wolf camp
Amelia sat in a silent location away from her pack with her bare foot planted on the cold soil sobbing bitterly but softly as she was still mourning the death of Damon but didn't want anyone else to know. She had tried to stop and console herself from grieving but she just couldn't and she doesn't understand why the news of Damon's death hurt her this much.
She barely knew the man. They only met for the period of a day but his death is just as painful as that of her dad's who she loved with all her heart.
She can't possibly be in love with this man, can she?
No, maybe she is just grieving this way because she is feeling guilty that despite him saving her life she couldn't do the same for him when he needed her help? Amelia tried to think that's the reason but deep down she knew that's not the reason. It goes beyond that. This is something much more deeper and stronger than feeling of guilt or gratitude but she really doesn't know what it is or she just didn't want to accept the reality that she might have just fallen in love with Damon while she is another's mate to be.
However what she knew for sure is that she wanted him to be alive so she could see his face and hear his voice speak again and she wished this was only a terrible dream and that she would wake up from it soon....but there was no waking up from this he was gone.
“Why are you crying," a soft, thin voice startled Amelia and she immediately turned around to find the little Crystal standing looking at her so innocently.
Amelia quickly composed herself, wiping the tears off her eyes in the process. “Hey Crystal. What are you doing here?" she faked a smile.
“Are you hurt?" Crystal asked with those innocent eyes.
“N..o, I am not hurt." Amelia denied.
“Why are you crying then?"
“Crying? I...I am not crying. Something just entered my eyes and I was trying to get it out, that's why my eyes were wet." Amelia lied through the teeth.
“So what are you doing here? You should be with the rest of the pack. Don't you know it's not safe walking around alone?"
“I don't know," Crystal shrugged and came to sit close to Amelia.
“Naughty girl." Amelia ruffled her hair a bit.
A few seconds later.
“Aunty Amelia," Crystal called.
“Yes," Amelia answered.
“Do you know when uncle Damon will be coming?" Crystal asked and as she made mention of Damon's name this overwhelming sadness overcame Amelia and the tears started threatening to burst forth but she tried her best to conceal her sadness from Crystal.
“Why do you want to see him?" She inquired.
“He promised me that he will allow me to braid his hair when he next comes. He is such a nice man. I like him," Crystal said innocently.
“Yes he is. He surely is," Amelia said and it was at that moment she determined in her heart that she would go and look for him in the town even if it's just to see his corpse in the streets. She just has to see him...
“I am sure uncle Damon will come soon so don't worry, okay?" Amelia said and Crystal nodded.
“Alright go play with your friends, okay? Hurry up." Amelia dismissed little Crystal so she can have the opportunity to sneak out of the camp unnoticed.
Once Crystal was out of sight Amelia quickly made her way out of the camp to town in search of Damon that she believed was dead but hoped he wasn't...

“Why do you have blood stains on your shirt, little brother?" Roshan said to Damon as he came into the apartment.
“Why do you care?" Damon spoke rudely.
“Of course I care. You are my family, remember?" Roshan said and Damon rolled his eyes slightly.
“You need to stop calling me that." He said and Roshan grinned.
“So tell me. Did you get into a fight? Is that why you have blood stains on your shirt?"
“All you need to know is that the blood stains on me ain't mine." Damon said then walked past Roshan.
“Spoken like a true prince of hell." Roshan smiled and Damon paused his steps.
“Speaking of hell. Shouldn't that be where you are supposed to be right now? Or don't you consider it home anymore?"
“Hell will forever be home to me but for now let's say I am on a vacation on earth," Roshan smiled and Damon shook his head slightly.
“Anyways, I need to be alone unless you want more blood stains on my shirt." Damon said in a threatening manner and Roshan smiled faintly.
“It's alright, I will let you be this time little brother. There is much more fun to have out there than in here anyways," he said but Damon kept him quiet.
“I will be seeing you soon, little brother." Roshan said before he vanished from the room and Damon walked into his room.
Inside his room he took off his blood stained coat and shirt and dropped them inside an empty basket then walked away to the bathroom but stopped when he got to the large, standing mirror. He gazed upon his reflection with his eyes focused on the part of his neck where he was bitten by the red eyed vampire. There was no sign of wound or bite mark but there was a frown on Damon's face.
Clearly Damon was still upset he wasn't able to get his revenge on the vampire that bit him Elisha. Killing his men didn't give him that satisfaction he wanted and his evil inside was groaning about it.
“Hmm," he inhaled and exhaled before walking away from the mirror to the bathroom...
[The past ]
Location: Hell
Standing outside the wide open balcony of a high building which belongs to the Devil. “Are you ready to go to war for the first time, little brother?" Roshan who was dressed in a black, royal robe spoke with his hands resting on the shoulders of Damon who was standing facing him, dressed in royal robe as well but his was made of gold material and it sparkled.
“I am." Damon replied confidently and Roshan smiled.
“Then tomorrow you will split the blood of our enemies in the honor of the Dark Lord." Roshan said then he let go of Damon and proceeded to the rim of the balcony.
Damon also motioned to the rim of the balcony- standing by Roshan's side.
“You are only 17 years old but one day you will get to rule all of these one day," Roshan said, gesturing to the whole of hell which could be seen from the vantage point where they were in and Damon took a good look at it.
The view was majestical and everything he had dreamt of. A smile crept up his face in the prospect of being ruler of over everything he was seeing.
“I am sure you will make a fine ruler one day but you have to be alive in order to rule. So I don't want you dying tomorrow when you defend your kingdom against those demons who want your inheritance. You have to be as ruthless as your father tomorrow and never show not even a hint of mercy to your enemies because they won't be merciful to you, understand?"
“Yes, all my enemies shall perish by my sword and I will make my father proud of me and you as well my brother," Damon said and his face was reflecting his evil nature.
Roshan smiled and just then a beautiful lady walked out to meet them with a tray in hand that contained a well prepared full pig with other types of meats and vegetables as supplements. She was wearing a thin transparent gown that was showing off her private parts. Round medium size breasts with large nipples and a V shape honey pot.
”There comes food serving food," Roshan smirked at the sight of her and Damon took his eyes to the beautiful lady and there was lust dancing in his sockets.
