[Jade’s pov]

The next day when I woke up, as the sun peeked through the huge windows. I was ready to start my new life with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement. The events of the previous day still lingered in my mind, but the strange joy of finding my brother, Zilver, kept my spirits high. I took a deep breath and was ready to embrace the new chapter in my life.

Stepping out of the room alone as Lily had already left in the morning, I was surprised to find myself surrounded by a group of maids, all beaming with warm smiles with their heads lowered. They curtsied as I emerged in the arcade and I felt a mix of surprise and awkwardness from that kind of welcome.

One of the maids stepped forward while holding a tray of colourful dresses fit for a princess. "Good morning, Mis Zillah." She addressed me by my birth name which I got to know yesterday. The maid’s voice was gentle and respectful which was understood as I was the sister of the alpha. "We have prepared these dresses for you to choose from."

Just like a princess, huh? The past events haunted my mind, and I realised that my newfound identity was not only as alpha Zilver's sister but also as some royal family member. It was overwhelming but at the same time everything felt unbelieveabe to me because just a day ago I was a wolfless girl without any status and anything.

Someone who had been stripped off her title as beta Liam’s daughter. Disowned by my family and rejected by my mate, what else could be snatched from me? And just when I had been thinking that my own self respect came to risk. I was glad that alpha Zilver protected me and it turned out that I was his sister. Though that was still plausible because how was it even possible that beta Liam stole me from Grimclaw pack.

"Thank you, ladies." I replied with a smile, feeling a sense of appreciation for their thoughtfulness and respect which they showed. "They are all beautiful, but I will choose one later. Um…for now, I wish to take a bath." As much as I wanted to adapt everything I wished to take a bath first to think about everything.

The maids nodded obediently and one of them led the way to a lavish bathing chamber. The room was adorned with fragrant flowers and scented candles, creating a tranquil atmosphere to enchant anyone. A large marble tub which was filled with warm water infused with delicate lavender fragrances and rose petals awaited me.

The ladies assisted me in undressing and as soon as I submerged myself in the soothing scented water, I couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh. It was a moment of pure relaxation and indulgence in relief. I felt like my pain was washing away the remnants of all the bad emotions and leaving me refreshed.

The maids took great care of me while pampering me with gentle shoulder massages, scented oils, making me feel like a true princess. Their kindness and attentiveness was quite overwhelming and strange to me yet I felt humbled by their care. After all, how could I refuse that luxury and protocol when I could abuse it.

After the bath, I came out of the chamber, wrapped in a soft white luxurious robe. The maids had prepared a dressing table with mirrors and various trinkets. They skillfully styled my hair and adorned it with delicate accessories fit for a royalty member. As much as I tried to deny them I still could not do so because each of them had orders from alpha Zilver.

Finally, I chose a stunning dress that shimmered like the stars in the night sky. It had an elegant design and soft fabric which made me feel like I was walking in a dream. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but smile at the turn my life had taken. For the first time, I truly felt like a part of something greater, just like a princess in her own right.

It was a whirlwind of emotions and new experiences, but I knew that with alpha Zilver and Lily, I was ready to face anything that came my way. Stepping out into the hallway, the maids applauded each other and exchanged delighted glances. Their genuine happiness for me warmed my heart.

Lily appeared, a bright smile gracing her face. "Jade, you look absolutely stunning!” She exclaimed with her eyes sparkling with pride as she grabbed my arm and we walked towards the grand dining table.




As we approached the grand dining table, I couldn't help but be amazed at the sight before me. The room was adorned with intricate decorations, and the table was laden with a never ending list of delectable dishes from all corners of the kingdom. A feast fit for royalty!
With the maids gone, a sense of intimate family moment settled over the room. Zilver approached me, his eyes softening with affection. "Jade," he said, taking my hand in his, "I hope you are feeling comfortable here." I could not fathom his support and concern to make me feel at home.
His genuine concern warmed my heart, and I squeezed his hand in reassurance. "Yes, alpha Zilver." I replied with a smile though I saw that he disliked the way I addressed him. "I feel like I belong here, at home with you and everyone else, brother."
His smile widened, and he guided me to a seat at the head of the table, taking his place beside me. Upon the alpha’s gesture, the maids with beaming smiles, began to bring in more trays of sumptuous food, placing them carefully on the table.
There were colourful fruits of every kind, succulent meats, and an array of mouthwatering desserts that looked like they belonged in a fairy tale. My eyes widened in delight, and my stomach rumbled with hunger which was not there a while ago!
