[Jade’s pov]

I sat nervously at the dining table, my mind filled with both excitement and apprehension as we reunited during the breakfast. The warm atmosphere of laughter and chatter enveloped us, but my thoughts were interrupted when I noticed Zilver, my brother and the respected alpha of the pack, enter the room.

My heart skipped a beat as Zilver's eyes met mine, and I could sense the concern in his gaze. He had always been protective of me ever since I was brought here, and I knew he had reservations about my relationship with Ragnar. As he approached us, I exchanged a worried glance with Ragnar, silently conveying my unease.

Zilver motioned for Ragnar to follow him to the side, and they moved to a quieter corner of the hall. My anxiety grew while wondering what they were discussing. Ragnar seemed respectful and attentive to him from where I could see. But I couldn't shake the fear that Zilver might disapprove of our love and could potentially hurt Ragnar, if he believed it was necessary to protect me.

As I fidgeted with my hands, I tried to push away the negative thoughts, reminding myself of Ragnar's goodness and the love we shared. But the weight of my brother's authority loomed over me, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability.

Minutes felt like hours as I anxiously waited for their conversation to conclude. My mind raced with various scenarios, but I had to trust that Ragnar could handle himself and that Zilver would understand the depth of our love. After all, he was the father of my child and had to protect us.

Finally, they returned to the table, and I noticed a subtle change in both of their expressions. Zilver's stern countenance had softened slightly, and Ragnar appeared more resolved, as if they had reached a mutual understanding. I was relieved about that knowing that they might have sorted out the things.

I couldn't contain my curiosity any longer. "Is everything alright?" I asked, trying to hide the anxiety in my voice. Ragnar smiled warmly at me and took my hand in his. "Yes, everything's fine," he reassured me, his eyes filled with love and determination. "Zilver just wanted to discuss our plans for the future, and he emphasised the importance of his beloved sister’s happiness, haha."

Zilver nodded while smiling at us, his gaze shifting between us. "Jade, Ragnar," he said, his voice serious yet compassionate, "love is a powerful force, and I understand that you care deeply for each other. However, your choices as alpha and luna have an impact on the pack, and it's essential to be responsible in your decisions."

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. Zilver's words echoed in my mind, reminding me that our love, while precious, must also be balanced with the well-being of our pack. "I understand, Zilver," I said sincerely, squeezing Ragnar's hand. “I will be sure to not let any harm befall on Jade, she is my responsibility and the mother of my child.”

Zilver's stern demeanour softened further, and he placed a hand on my shoulder, his protective instincts evident. "I trust both of you to make the right choices," he said, "and know that I only want what's best for you, Jade. And don’t ever hesitate to tell your brother about whatever is bothering you."

Tears welled up in my eyes, touched by his words and the depth of his love for me. "Thank you, Zilver," I said, my voice filled with emotion. "Your support means the world to me." As Zilver returned to his place, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength. Together, Ragnar and I would face any challenges that lay ahead, with the love of each other and the support of our pack guiding us through every step of our journey.

As the conversation continued, Zilver's gaze softened as he looked at me with a mix of concern and tenderness. "Jade," he said gently, "Ragnar mentioned that he wants to take you back to his pack. Is that what you want too?"

I took a moment to gather my thoughts, realizing the importance of this decision. Ragnar's pack was a new world for me now that i was supposed to be the luna, and I knew that the familiarity now would bring challenges and adjustments. However, my heart had already made its choice, and I couldn't imagine my life without Ragnar.

With unwavering determination, I met Zilver's gaze. "Yes, Zilver," I replied, my voice steady, "I want to go with Ragnar. I love him, and I believe that our love can overcome any obstacles that come our way. I am sure that he will give me the desired respect and the position.”

Zilver studied me for a moment, and then a small smile touched his lips. "I can see the conviction in your eyes, Jade," he said, his voice warm with understanding. "I trust that you've thought this through and that Ragnar will take good care of you."

Tears of gratitude welled up in my eyes as I embraced my brother, feeling the weight of his support and love. "Thank you, Zilver," I whispered, my voice choking with emotion. "Your trust means everything to me. Thank you for everything, brother.”

Zilver pulled away and held my shoulders, looking into my eyes with a paternal affection. "Jade, you have grown into a strong and wise woman," he said, pride evident in his voice. "I know that you will be alright, no matter where life takes you. Just remember that I am with you. Always."

His words reassured me, and I knew that Zilver believed in my ability to face the challenges ahead. I had learned so much from him, and his guidance had shaped me into the person I was today.

As the evening continued, we all gathered together, celebrating our reunion with laughter and joy. Zilver's acceptance of our love gave me the indication of my own existence, and I felt the support and love from every member.

With the blessing of my brother and the acceptance of the pack, I knew that our journey together was destined for greatness. No matter the challenges that lay ahead, we were ready to face them together, knowing that the love we both had would guide us through any storm.

I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the love that bound us together and the family that surrounded me in the form of Lily and alpha Zilver. With the support of my brother and the man I loved, I knew that my heart was exactly where it belonged.

As we sat together at the dining table, our hands gently entwined, I felt a rush of warmth and love enveloping me. Ragnar's eyes locked with mine, and in that moment, it was as if we were the only two people in the room. The soft glow of candlelight danced in his eyes, mirroring the flicker of affection in my heart.

With a gentle squeeze of his hand, Ragnar leaned in closer, his voice a tender whisper that sent shivers down my spine. "You are more beautiful than the stars in the night sky," he murmured, his words a sweet melody that made my heart soar.

A blush crept onto my cheeks as I tried to find the right words to convey the depth of my feelings. "And you," I replied softly, "you are the guiding light that leads me through the darkest of nights. Your love is a beacon that I will follow forever."

The world around us seemed to melt away as we talked in our own bubble of affection. Each bite of food became a chance to share more intimate moments, as we playfully fed each other and exchanged knowing glances.

Ragnar's fingers caressed the back of my hand, leaving trails of warmth in their wake. "Do you know how lucky I feel?" he whispered, his voice filled with wonder.

I smiled, my heart swelling with love for this incredible man by my side. "I feel just as lucky," I admitted, "to have found a love so pure and true."

The soft murmur of conversation from the insecurities and obstacles faded into the background as we lost ourselves in each other's presence. The world felt right when we were together, as if we were meant to be connected in this profound and beautiful way.

As the meal progressed, our whispers grew more tender, while Zilver and Lily glared at us both as we ignored them. Haha, maybe they were happy for us. Our talks were filled with promises of a future together, dreams to be realised and adventures to be shared. Our love was an unexpected incident which was a memorable thing.

With each passing moment, I felt my love for Ragnar deepen, a love that filled every crevice of my being. The dining hall may have been filled with joyful sounds and laughter, but the symphony of our love was the sweetest melody of all.

And as we held hands and our fingers intertwined, I knew that we were bound by a love that transcended everything in our way. Our hearts beat as one, and I was certain that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together.

Hand in hand, hearts entwined, forever and always.
