I left the club and rushed to the bush beside the parking lot and threw up. After that, I sat on a bench close by. I started to reflect on how my life has gone from bad to the worst and the years gone by.
Is there really no room for happiness in life? I thought about it. Still lost in my thoughts, I did not notice when a man sat next to me until he grabbed me.
“Annie my wife, I missed you so much!” The man moved to hug me as I freed myself from his hold.
I stood up from the bench and tried to run away before I was pulled back by my hair. And my back meets his chest.
“W-why are you trying to run away from m-me Anna? Do you think I am going to let you go? Never! N-Not again!”. The man screamed. From his sloppy words, I knew he was drunk. Just great! I have to run into a drunk man who thinks I am his wife whom I am sure left him.
“Hey mister! Let go of my hair! I am not your wife. There is a misunderstanding somewhere!”. I pleaded with him but he held my hair tighter.
I look around the parking lot to see if there is anyone who could help me. But the parking lot is empty, only a couple that were making out at a corner.
“You think you can get away from me this time around, you must be mistaken! Ha! I won’t let you go! Let’s go home now!” The man tried to drag me along with him. But luckily enough, I have learned two or more moves from Stacy so I kick him where the sun doesn’t shine! The man let go of me and fell to the ground in pain. I used that moment and ran away.
I ran back towards the direction of the club. I was not looking at where I was heading to and so I collided with someone who held me.
“Ashely are you okay?.” Times out the person I collided with happens to be Rick.
“I-I am fine!” I grasp as I try to catch my breath.
“Is anyone following you? Why were you running?” Rick asked me.
“Everything is fine! It was just a drunk man who was disturbing me.” I explained to him.
“If you say so. Xander asked me to drop you home!.” Rick said.
“Of course he did!”. I murmured.
Rick and I head for his car. Although the ride we didn’t talk. Once we arrived at home, I immediately headed to my room and changed into my nightwear.

Xander’s POV
Moments after Ashely and Rick left, I was no longer in the mood of clubbing and decided to go home myself.
I don’t understand why Ashely was angry. I didn’t say anything that is not the truth. Girls! You could never understand them.
“Boss you are going so soon?” Jo asked and I nodded at him. He stood up to come along but I stopped.
“Stay and enjoy yourself! I want to ride alone!.” With that I walked out.
Just as I walked out of the club, I felt pain hit me on my right arm! I looked at and saw blood. Damn I have been shot.
I immediately became on alert and brought out my run. I looked at the direction that the gun was shot from, I saw a movement in the bush and quickly shut it. I heard something fall so I rushed to the bush. I saw a man lying on the ground with his hands on his bleeding legs.
“Well it seems like the tables have turned around against you doesn't it?.” I smirked at him.
“Go to hell Xander!.” The man spat at me.
“Gladly!” I smiled at him and pressed my leg in his wounded leg while he kept on shouting.
“Hello Jo I want you to come to the bush by the right side of the club as fast as you!.” I ordered into the phone and in no time, Jo appeared in front.
“Boss, are you okay?.” He asked when he saw my bleeding hand.
“I am fine! I want you to take this fool to the Asa house. Do as you wish with him but make sure you keep him alive. I will interrogate him tomorrow!.” I ordered.
“Sure thing boss! What about your arm?. Jo asked.
“It’s fine! I will have Rick treat it when I go home!.” I said and walked away from the scene. I entered my car and tore a piece of my cloth and tied it around my arm to prevent it from bleeding before I started to drive home. It’s not the first time that I have been shot and so I can handle the pain for some hours.
By the time I reached home, the pain had already become worse. I was feeling as if my hand was on fire. I manage to drag myself to my room.
I called on Rock to come and help me pull it out.
"Gu*k!"I curse out as Rick tries to get the bullet out of my arm. "F***king get it out?!!" I yell at him getting tired of his fruitless attempts.
He shakes his head and drops the tweezers next to me. "My fingers are too big, sir," he says, showing me his bloody fingers.
I look at him, asking myself why I shouldn't
kill him right now. I use my good hand to push him away. I sat up on the makeshift bed that was stained.
“Then go and search around the house and get someone who can remove it for me. I need this bullet out of me fast!.” I yelled at Rick who scrambled out of the room.
I sat and thought of who could have the guts to send someone to shoot at me. I have only two guesses and I am very sure it’s one of them.
