Epilogue

Two months later.
“I now present Mr and Mrs Xander Cage. You may now kiss the bride.” The officiant Priest announced.
Without waiting to be told twice, Xander pulled his wife to a kiss. He had meant to kiss her since she walked into the chapel looking like an angel in her wedding gown. She is putting on a ball dress gown to hide her four months pregnancy from the public eye.
Xander captured Ashely’s lip and kissed her as if he was starving for her. Which he is. The women had kept Ashely away from him for three days.
Three days! He nearly went insane because he was already used to sleeping with Ashely at his side.
The officiant Priest cleared his throats to get the attention of the newly wedded couple who seems to be lost in passion.
“Please save the rest for the honeymoon!.” The officiant Priest Priest teases the couple as the congregation cheered at his words.
Xander stopped kissing Ashely as he placed his forehead on hers.
"I love you so much, Mrs Ashely Xander Cage”. Xander said to Ashely as she flung her hand around his neck.
"I love you more, Mr. Xander Cage." Ashely replied to him as she stared deeply into his eyes.
"Finally, you are now willingly my wife " Xander said in a relieved voice as his eyes looked remorseful.
Ashely sighed as she placed her hands on both sides of Xander’s face. “Look , don't beat yourself over what happened in the past or how we met. Everything that happened was for the best. I am glad that I ended up with you.” Ashely sincerely told Xander. Imagine how miserable her life will still be if she was still with her parents. Xander wanted to legally marry her as he quoted. Ashely had refused at the beginning but then gave in when Xander kept on persuading her.
“Hey you guys, we are still in church. Save the romantic talks for later!.” Someone from the congregation shouted, making the rest of the people burst into laughter. Ashely could bet with her last cash that it was Unice.
Remember Unice right? Ashely’s friend from high school. A month ago, Xander had surprised Ashely by inviting her high school friends for the wedding. When they asked Ashely where she had been all this while, she came up with an excuse and told them that she was away in another state taking care of her dying Aunty who has cancer and that was where she met Xander and fell in love with him. Luckily, her friends brought the story but then they were so excited to be part of a billionaire wedding that Ashely thought if they even heard her excuse.
Ashely and Xander held hands together and turned to face the congregation with big smiles on their faces. Little by little, the congregation started to walk up to them and congratulate them.
“Congratulations. Who ever knew that the great Xander Cage will become pussy whipped one day.” Xenon, one of Xander’s mafia friends, teased Xander as he walked up to the couple.
“Soon it will be your turn!.” Xander said to his friend.
“Nah! The Devil doesn’t fall in love!.” Xenon confidently stated as he walked away. Xander smirked at his friend because he has a feeling that Xenon is going to meet his match very soon.
Next up, it was Ashely’s friends who walked up to them.
“You know, I always thought you would be the last to marry among us.” Elsa expressed.
“I honestly thought that she would get married at all. She will probably end up growing old with cats by her side.” Lisa inputted and they all laughed.
“Well life is unpredictable and full of surprises isn’t it?..” Ashely responded.
“O it surely is!.” Elsa said.
“Group hug!!!!”. Unice shouted. And all four friends pulled each other into a hug just like they use to do.
After accepting greetings and congratulations from well wishers, Xander and Ashely walk hand in hand into the white limousine that drove them to the reception venue.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Mr and Mrs Xander Cage!””. The MC announced and the double door was immediately opened wide.
Still hand in hand, Xander and Ashely slowly walked to their assigned seat.
Ashely was blown away by the decoration of the hall. Everything was according to the color code of the day which is black, white and golden. Ashely was also taken back by the number of people that attended the wedding. Some of the faces sane recognize as celebrities and politicians. Never in her imagination did Ashely ever think that such important people will grace her wedding. The only people missing were her parents but Ashley didn’t feel any remorseful about their absent. In fact she felt more relief and wish that with time, she could forget that she had such horrible people as her parents.
Xander and Ashely took their seats and the main celebration started.
They had their first dance as a couple and then Ashely danced next with Xander’s father while Xander danced with his mother.. After that, the whole congregation joined in the dance.
Soon it was time to say their vows. Xander started first.
“I know I was the best guy when we met. But I promise to spend the rest of my life making it up to you. I may not be perfect, but I will try my best to always be the best husband to you and a great father to our kids.. I love you Ashely and I will always do.” Xander said his vows. It was short and simple but everybody could tell that it came from Xander’s heart.
“I love you too!”. Ashley whispered to him as she got ready to say her own vows.
“Before I met you, my life was filled with so much pain, hurt and fear. I go to sleep every day without having an interest in waking up the next morning because my life had no purpose. But ever since I met you, my life has taken a new shape.. I felt alive! I felt no fear and was ready to face any situation.
I am glad that I ended up with you and even in my next and after life, I will still choose to be with you.
I love you Mr Xander Cage!.” Ashely concluded her vows.
Xander couldn’t help but walk over to her and kiss the hell out of her.
Next up, the couple cut their big castle shaped cake and then it was time to throw the flower.
All the single ladies gathered and Ashely threw the flower to them. Claire Chase’s fiancée was the one who caught the flower.
Chase cheered and walked to her.
“We are getting married next month!!”. He shouted as he kissed.
The whole congregation cheered at him.
Xander held Ashely’s hand and pulled her out of the hall.
“Where are we going?”. Ashely asked Xander as He pulled her into the elevator.
“Our room!”. Xander simply answered.
“But what about the reception?”. Ashely asked him.
“ I am sure that nobody will miss us.” Xander said just as the elevator came to a stop. They both came out of it.
“It’s a tradition for the groom to carry the bride into the room on their first night together!”. Xander said as he picked Ashley up.
Ashely wanted to remind Xander that it wasn’t their first together and they were already married but then she kept silent and enjoyed the special treatment she was getting from her husband.
Immediately they entered their suite, Xander dropped her and his hands impatiently started to undo the buttons of Ashely’s wedding gown.
Xander pushed her gown down to the floor, and
there she stood only clad in her red lace panties
in front of him.
His mouth captured hers, kissing her
vigorously, ravishing the insides of my mouth
with his greedy tongue. His hand kneaded her breast, as his mouth transferred on her neck,

Ashely unbuttoned his shirt, and he helped by removing all his clothes.

“ I love you too. husband!”.. Ashely answered in a voice clouded with desire.
With that, they both locked lips in a passionate kiss and next they moved to them where they spent the whole night showing each other how much they love each other….
Six months later, Ashely gave birth to their first son Damien.
