Chapter 21:Cocky Best Friend

Jordan's POV
"I need to save my best friend and the universe has given me the perfect moment" I whispered to myself as he kept pacing up and down checking through my laptop which was balanced on my left arm as I searched for the perfect private forest pack to send these two lovers.
Don't get it twisted,I happen to be an influential person in Hollywood entertainment having directed and acted in a lot of romantic movies so this romantic task is the best job for me.
Ever since the traumatic incident, Aaron has shut his self from the world and once the perfect playboy become only engrossed with Ava and work. It's my pleasure to instill some fun into his life.
Miss Anastasia is the perfect candidate because I haven't seen any woman that captured Ava's heart and still has a riling effect on Mr president.
President Aaron Blacks narrated what happened at Anastasia's place because I paid them a visit at night only to come to an empty mansion. My friend seems to be smitten by this dance teacher but he is too cocky and stubborn to admit to the fact that he needs some lady spice up his life and help with Ava.
Done ,found the perfect spot.
"Ava, go tell your daddy that you still want to have a birthday date with Miss Anastasia…"I tried my best to bribe Ava with chocolates and ice cream to act up till her father finally agreed to ask Miss Anastasia for a post birthday dinner.
"Hey, I'm too busy to go about having dinner with a kindergarten teacher, '' complained Aaron Blacks.
"She is not just a teacher but Ava's mommy"
"Hey ,don't get used to calling her that. I don't want to raise Ava's hope"came Aaron Black's curt reply.
"I have faith in this one besides you are doing this for Ava,the psychologist advice her to go out more and have fun…" I replied with a grin ,knowing that playing the Ava Card always work..He rolled his eyes,checked the time and sighed
"Which of my private restaurants are we heading to?"
"Oh no, that will be a surprise my friend but for now we need to go pick Miss Anastasia from school with Ava"I advised getting all extra bouncy and excited today.
I went in to get Ava and Miss Anastasia who were being hard on us coming up with excuses about having work to finish but luckily for us the head of administration was passing and when she saw ,she hurriedly bowed down.
"Hello Mr Jordan, what a pleasant surprise to see you here" she said getting all flustered,I'm used to this reaction even from elderly women.
"It will have been pleasant Ma'am if only Miss Anastasia can finish rounding up her work already…" I complained while giving her hands a courtesy kiss.
"Oh goodness, Miss Anastasia please leave whatever you are doing and attend to him. Don't you know he has a major share of this school…" she whispered the last part sending daggers towards Miss Anastasia who glared at me and started packing her things.
"Dior doesn't bark and is super friendly with people. He is definitely a toy and not a pet for security purposes."
Let me help you with the dog, I volunteered, surprised that the dog didn't bulge.She ignored me as she picked up Ava as we headed towards the entrance.
"Hello Daddy's princess" Aaron gave his daughter a peck before giving Anastasia a small curt smile which she returned with a tight smile.
"Guess, we have to set out already?" She asked looking from Jordan to the two black sedans and back to Aaron Blacks.
"Yes ma'am, we even brought changes of clothes"
"Okay Jordan and Mr Aaron Blacks, I am doing this because it's Ava's post birthday party…" Aaron closing the car made Anastasia's speech come to an end as she followed me to the second car.
"What are you doing, you should have entered the other car…" I looked at Miss Anastasia who was already putting her seat belt on beside me.
"I will take a nap,let me know when we get there," she said, putting on her earpiece and closing her eyes.
"Uh Uh" I said, turning my attention to my Macbook, revising a screenplay that the company will be working on.
"Hey, Miss Anastasia. We have arrived" I said, tapping her a little on the shoulder. She must have been honestly tired and that is the more reason she needs this vacation.
I smiled and went around to open the door ,her eyeballs popping when she saw where we were.
"Jordan, this is not a restaurant or a playground…?" She asked and I smirked holding her by the hand as I walked her towards Aaron and Ava Blacks.
"Seems like you two used the rise to get acquainted,she even calls you Jordan" Said Aaron Blacks pointing his eyes towards our hand and Miss Anastasia gasp and quickly untangle our hands.
"Interesting" I said, loving the drama unfolding already.
"Here,let me hold her" Miss Anastasia went ahead to hold Ava, snuggling into her hold.
"Dinner at the airport was your idea Jordan?" Asked Aaron Blacks.
"Get the jet ready "I told one of my men and turned back to face my best friend who was already typing away on his iPad.
"Who said anything about dinner and you should try and get your head off work when with family" he just rolled his eyes at me as he followed me towards my private jet.
My treat, my jet.
"Hey Anastasia ,come on. Let's go" I said going back to lead the way, Aaron Blacks turned back and looked at my hands on the small of her back with a glare and I pretend not to notice as I Led her to the cabin and made sure she is comfortably seated with Ava by her side.
"Get the baby seat and also take her orders" I told the air hostess before going ahead to sit beside my best man.
"Hey best friend" I said with a cheeky grin.
"Childish"
"Sorry, I meant best man" I laughed loving the fact that's it's so easy to tease and pick on the great Aaron Blacks.
"What's your plan Mr Jordan Woods?"
"Oh, you just wait and watch !" I replied putting on my head phone and turning the television screen in front of me. I might as well take a break too.
"Hello Mr Woods, Mr Blacks, this is your pilot Captain Kedapha.We are about to take off"
