Chapter 25

The Head Wizard formed a circle with the bracket of the witches casting a spell on all them.

" We need to cast a spell on her, a very deep sleeping spell, if she ought to say more about us and our main hideout too l, we are done for." He explained.

" As... cla... his... co... la... ri... dush!" They all said at the same time. Repeating the words backward, I felt lost and confused as the room turned dark. A kid ran into the scene and the light turned on again, it was the Head wizard daugther.

" I told you dear, this isn't a playing ground. You should learn to stay with the other kids if you want to survive. " He said to his little girl.

" I don't like staying with the kids papa, I want to be like you! I want to stay in the board room and protect the kids, the bad wolves might decide to come back into our coven." She said sadly.

This was all Dominic doing, he was a monster. I can't believe he don't even have any sympathy for kids.

" Run along now dear!" The library witch said, she ran out of the board room.

" She is so smart for her age." I smiled.

" Dominic killed her sister, in the attack. She is determined to do anything to protect the other kids, she is really brave like her late mother." He smiled.

" I am sorry about the attack in your coven, I promise to make it up to you once all these are all over." I said.

" We have succeded in putting Cassandra to sleep, why don't we end this once and for all huh? Here is an antidote, it is quite poisonous to the wolves including Dominic, you can put it in his food or his bathing water. He is going to choke to death, be careful with it." She said, handing a seed wrapped with a leaf to me.

" Do you think your spells can work on that dare devil? He is totally a monster and is immortal to everything." I asked worriedly.

" It can, it was created by an ancient witch a long time ago. They used it to poison the wolves who came to invade our terriotry." She explained.

" I pray it works, I'm sick and tired of these dead games." I scoffed.

" I'm sorry about what Dominic did to you when he found out that his warehouse was on fire." Kyle said.

" That's new Kyle! I thought you never liked the wolf." Dailey teased.

" Well, I never did, but after seeing Cassandra behaviour, I became even more disgusted of my own kind." He said in disgust.

" I need to start going now! He would be back soon." I said.

The inchanted some spells and I found myself in the palace. Dominic was heading towards my chamber, I cleared my throat to get his attention.

" Oh! I thought you were in your chamber Phoebe! I need us to have dinner together." He requested.

" Oh... It's fine! Shall we? " I asked.

" Of course, we walked into the dinning room together, the meal was served in a tray. How the hell am I going to getting these grains into his food.

" Oh.. I need to get something, you can go on without me. I will be back in a sec." He said walking out of the dinning room. I saw this as a perfect time to get the deed down, I sprinkle some grains into his food.

I sat on my seat waiting patiently for him to arrive, I pray it dosen't affect him immediately or I would be done for.

" Hey, I'm sorry. I took so long! What's for breakfast?" He asked staring at the food.

He stared at the food suspeciously, he came closer to me, I swallowed a huge gulp.

" I still don't know why you don't trust me, you used the same poison the witches used for my father some years ago. Do you think I can easily be tricked?" He asked. I shivered in fear,why didn't the witches tell me that they used it against his father, I could have disagreed to this poisoning shit.

" Answer me!" He slabbing my head across the table.

" I'm sorry!" I bursted into tears.

" I try my possible best to make sure you stay happy. I don't want us to fight anymore, I want you to be by my side, I want us to grow old together. I heard happily ever after is real, I want to feel that with you. Don't you love me too?" I shocked my head in disagreement. He slubbed my head against the table, blood gush out of my nostrils and my forehead. I couldn't see him properly, everything became blur all of a sudden.

" How dare you..."

" Don't you dare Dominic!" Lee yelled.

" Oh! A supporter, I would have instructed the guards to kill you but I would spare your miserable life, it shouldn't be ended in the battlefield not in the palace wall." He chuckled, pulling my hair.

I stared at Lee, his claws and fangs were growing out, he is no match for Dominic. I tried tell him to stop but I couldn't find my voice, I was weak and tired.

" Lee.." I whispered.

He scratched Dominic across his face, he let go of me holding his face.

" How dare you brat?'' He held him by the neck, lifting him up as he struggled to gasp for air.
