8.
Quietly sitting over the small leathered couch in Rick's office, I hugged my knees close to my chest as I warily glanced between the four non-human males currently occupying the same room.
They were having a heated discussion ever since Lucifer had arrived about an hour ago, insisting over and over again upon the same matter.
"Erick, I'm telling you, we need to find them. You don't know how serious this is," Lucifer pressed for the third time already, his expression deadly serious as he looked at Rick, who by the way was casually leaning in his leathered chair and resting his feet against the edge of the desk as he gazed up at the angel standing at the opposite end.
"Oh don't I?" He quirked one brow.
"I was there, remember? I know what happened and I've definitely witnessed firsthand what one of those things can do," I watched as Rick's features turned grim, seemingly recalling an unpleasant memory as his gaze momentarily averted to a certain spot over the desk.
"But I won’t do anything right now...Not without her," He still pensively stared at that particular spot as he absently spoke before his gaze eventually returned to Lucifer.
"Have you even seen her? Have you seen the state she's in? I don't know what happened after those fuckers managed to knock me out too since she won't even tell me, but I'm telling you, I got a feeling it wasn't pretty. And trust me when I say to you that those bitches better be prayin' that I don't find out. Because if I do, you'll have to go and ask that Pandora bitch to make another batch of them," He so seriously told the angel as he looked him in the eye, my gaze briefly darting to the terrifying angel of death who silently stood leaning against a wall all this time, curious to see if Rick's words have triggered any reaction from him.
And indeed they had.
My lips slightly parted, feeling a little aprehensive as a truly deadly look was now etched all over his generally brooding features, making me wonder if he would be really capable of losing his shit and destroy those "little bitches" they won’t stop talking about all by himself.
I mean, he definitely looks like he could...
My mind whispered as I glanced at those muscled arms crossed over his chest and then into those dangerously-looking midnight blue eyes, his general appearance surely promising nothing but raw, unmerciful violence.
So why not do it?
"Sooner or later, they will start causing mayhem. We need to act fast and find them before they do. I need to find her..." Lucifer's voice abruptly drew my attention back to him, watching him nervously run a hand through the slightly longer ebony locks at the top of his head as he now sat in a comfy chair.
However, that sole question still remained present at the front of my mind. And before I could even realize what I was doing, it swiftly flew past my lips.
"But why can't you do it alone? You're Lucifer, for god's sake!"
Shit.
A long moment of silence followed as every single pair of eyes in the room were now trained on me, making me feel like hiding myself behind the damn couch as my own slowly lowered to my lap, feeling my cheeks heating up as well as I anxiously bit my lip.
Yet I wasn't even sorry for acting out like that. If Rick wasn't going to speak up for both his sake and his sister's, I would. I loved them both and I didn’t want anything more bad to happen to them because of these crazy and irresponsible archangel dudes.
They have suffered enough already.
"Because I can't. I'm not even allowed to hurt them. I am their celestial father and keeper. So technically, this wasn't even supposed to happen. I wasn't even supposed to lose them in the first place," Lucifer lastly admitted, surprisingly enough with such a patient tone, like I didn’t even just yell at him like a freaking lunatic.
I slowly nodded as I peered back at him, however still not entirely satisfied with his answer.
"Okay, you're not allowed to hurt them. But what about them?" I then pointed towards the other two archangels in this room, glancing between Raphael who idly sat sprawled in a comfy chair and Azrael who remained standing in his spot by the wall.
"They are archangels, just like myself. They are supposed to exist, because each of them has a unique duty. And just like Azrael and dear Raph here, The Sins are supposed to exist too. Where is good, there has to be bad too, to keep the cosmic balance at bay. If I or my brothers were to intervene we could de-scale that balance and risk to destroy everything you know,"
"If the cosmic balance were ever to be disrupted, everything would start falling apart. Heaven, Hell and therefore Earth as well,"
"That is why, as much as I hate to place them in such a dangerous position, I need your lover's help," He briefly paused as he averted his attention towards Rick, who still sat in his leathered chair, pensively gazing at the fallen angel.
"Because he and Blake -what they are now- wasn't even supposed to be created. They are the surprise elements, hence they are the only ones who can approach and at least weaken those brats just enough to help me contain them," He easily explained, my mouth hanging open after everything he just told me.
“So, you’re basically saying that you can’t do anything without Rick and Blake?” I dumbly asked as I widely stared at him, his features remaining stoic as he closely peered right back at me with those silvery grey eyes.
“Precisely,”
Well shit.

Closely watching her after everything I’ve just heard inside that office only about an hour ago, my heart longed to be close to her and at least try to comfort her for I felt so scared, for both of them and for what could happen if they would actually decide to go after those sin dudes or whatever.
Please god, don’t have me lose them too...
I silently prayed as I silently gazed at her totally oblivious form for a moment longer, quickly wiping my tears away with the back of my hand before finally entering the living room and making her aware of my presence.
"Wat'cha watching?" I casually asked, forcing myself to seem as calm and composed as possible as I didn’t want her to notice any of my recent crying activity, to my relief her green eyes remaining trained on the big screen as she absently answered,
"Meh, nothing much. Just some ecchi stuff..."
I only hummed in approval then plopped my butt on the couch right next to her, making myself comfortable as I leaned my head against her shoulder and started watching as well just like we used to in our high-school days, allowing myself to at least relax for a little bit and enjoy the quality time spent with her.
I took a few chips from her bag and threw one in my mouth as I gazed at the scene from the screen, watching the anime schoolgirl's huge tits bounce up and down as the blonde guy shoved his massive ding-dong into her and fucked her faster than the freaking Flash. It was kinda hilarious though, watching the girl move up and down so fastly, almost like a funny cartoon show. Well, excepting all that tits, pussy and dick showing, obviously.
We simply sat there for a while and watched it in complete silence, the sounds of the schoolgirl's loud screaming filling the whole spacious room.
"Aw, not this shit again!" Rick’s unmistakable voice suddenly reached our ears, my head briefly turning just in time to see him go to the bar and retrieve himself a safely stashed bottle of alcohol.
"You guys are real weirdos, you know that, right?" He said as he glanced at me with a weirded-out grimace before walking back to the wide open double doors, my lips escaping an amused laugh as my gaze returned towards the screen.
“Why? They’re just freaking cartoons, it’s not like any of this is real!”
"Yeah whatever. Just turn that shit down, thank you!" I heard him say before walking away.
Except she turned it even louder, the girl's rather anguished screams simply blaring through our ears now as the guy fucked her brains out over the teaching desk, another set of footsteps now reaching my ears, noticing that Raphael had entered the room this time as my head snapped in the direction of the entrance, his dark eyes widening as they fell on the large screen, watching the whole scene with a visibly shocked expression.
"Eww, Blake what the fuck!" He loudly yelled before exiting the room as fast as he could, I myself letting out yet another laugh while she quietly watched all this time, ignoring every single one of them.
"Ye, yamede senpai!"
"Ye!"
Until the third set of footsteps reached our ears, my gaze turning to look at her, watching how her eyes slowly lowered, becoming absent as she remained completely unmoving for a moment, seemingly already aware of who had entered the room this time.
And before I could even prepare for what was about to happen next her head snapped towards the door, green clashing with midnight blue as they so intensely stared at each other in complete and utter silence, her demeanor momentarily faltering before she quickly built that hateful façade right back up.
"What? You thought that I was fucking someone? An alpha male, maybe?"
My lips parted in utter shock as I widely stared at her, too stunned to even take notice of those loud girly squeals and slapping still sounding in the background as my gaze reluctantly averted to him, noticing that twitch in his strong jaw and the way his fists clenched so tightly whilst he silently peered at her, seconds before he abruptly turned around, disappearing faster than a lightning bolt right before she angrily threw the remote after him, the poor object shattering into million pieces as it hit the wall instead.
