15.
She scooted back until her back was pressed against the wall, her arms tightly cradling her knees close to her chest into a protective way whilst salty beads of liquid slowly trailed down her reddened cheeks.
Her panic-induced mind immediately started to produce those images of him doing all those things he did to her back at the facility, making it hard for reason to take over whilst her sky blue eyes kept roaming over his half-naked and intimidating figure, convincing herself over and over again that he was nothing but danger.
A danger she could not escape.
"A-are you going to lose control and hurt me again, now that you can't control it anymore?"
The BloodHound listened to that tremble in her meek voice, taking notice of the way her stress levels quickly increased up to a dangerous point.
He immediately recognized the tell-tale signs of a human panic attack, his boots halting but a few steps away from the bed as his trained brain kept searching for a viable solution.
This was his first time in trying to defuse such a situation and apparently, it only seemed to fastly escalate as that furious pump within her chest kept increasing, along with the rhythm of her breathing.
"Why are you even taking me there, to Laxian? What's the real reason?"
He watched her rise up to her feet, like a cornered cat turning feral as her features morphed, her voice gradually increasing in volume.
"Why am I here? Why am I trapped in this damned thing?”
She abruptly jumped from the bed, her gaze wild as she started pacing around like a trapped animal, making him feel somehow distressed himself and worry for her health. For there was no way of completing his mission if she were to deteriorate her physical condition during their travel to Laxian.
He needed to take action, and he needed to take it as fast as possible.
“Why did you take me away from my home? Why did you take me away from Earth?!?" She bellowed out, running straight towards the see-through pane before she suddenly started throwing violent and completely useless punches at it.
"Please, calm down. You will hurt yourself," He tentatively pleaded, careful enough to use a soft tone as he soundlessly approached, step after step since giving her space was evidently not an option anymore. Her mind was basically in overdrive, functioning in destruction mode now.
"I don't want to be here! I want out! I don't want to be here with you, I want home! I just want to go home! I want back, please take me back! I don't want to be here!" She kept crying out as she punched and kicked with all her strength, succumbed into a violent and crazed frenzy, desperate to escape from within the spiralling confinements of her own mind as she wept and screamed and kicked at that damned pane of glass until he lastly acted upon his decision and crossed the remaining space between them, effectively restraining her movements as he rather firmly wrapped his arms around her fragile human body.
A sharp scream immediately tore through her throat, becoming even more wild and agitated as she now struggled to escape him.
“No! Stop! Let me go! No!” She screamed her lungs out, futilely squirming in his vice grip whilst the BloodHound regarded her with visible concern, hesitating but a few paces until he turned her around so she could properly face him, assessing her state for one final moment.
And with a determined look he pulled her impossibly close, feeling her dangerously fast pulse pounding through her every blood vessel as he leaned closer and plunged one of his elongated fangs into her jugular vein, injecting a relatively small amount of that toxin naturally produced by his body, just enough to render her barely responsive and completely sedated.
The girl quickly went limp in between his arms, her heavy legs giving out from underneath her as the toxin flowing through her system hit her so hard and fast that she failed to even realize what just happened.
“Mmm…” She weakly moaned, her barely open eyes struggling to focus as she gazed up at him, her lips barely parting, no doubt attempting to form a string of words.
“Forgive me. But I must complete my mission to save you,” He quietly explained as he swiftly cradled her body and carried her all the way back to the bed, listening to her moans of protest as he gently laid her down.
Small and salty beads of clear liquid formed at the corners of her eyes again, trailing to the sides of her temples as she helplessly laid there, staring at the ceiling as she struggled to focus and listen to his every movement, fearing that he will abuse her again.
“I am in control of my body and mind. I will not hurt you but you will have to trust me if you want to survive. I cannot protect you if you don’t trust me and will try to sabotage yourself and this relationship at every turn and every waking moment,”
“I understand that you are human and that you feel much more strongly, but you will have to let go of your fear, and give in to reason. I cannot help you if you will not let me,” She listened to his words and the sound of his stern voice, eyelids fluttering closed in compliance before she unwillingly fell into an unconscious state.
