25.
"Emerick..."
The BloodHound's name unconsciously flew past Madeleine's lips into a soft mewl as she mildly stirred, the muddled image of his face slowly fading away from her mind.
Pain erupted from the area between her neck and shoulder as soon as she came back to her senses, forcing out a groan from her throat.
Her eyelids slowly fluttered open, immediately greeted by a soft and incandescent pinkish light.
Another moan escaped her lips, her palms slowly pushing against the soft surface beneath her as she weakly rose herself into a sitting position, noticing the large round mattress she was laying on, the stark white and velvety fabric underneath her almost blending with the long dress covering her body.
Her eyes quickly widened as she examined the dress, noticing the two slits on each side that started from her hips, also emphasizing the fact that she wasn't wearing any underwear.
Her heart immediately started to pound within her chest, her gaze fastly travelling around the spacious and almost empty room, casually taking notice of the small white round table situated right next to the mattress, the three white odd-looking doors and the open balcony that invited a natural pink light and fresh air from outside, a gentle breeze caressing the shimmering curtains.
What was this place? How did she get here?
A tiny and pained whimper escaped her as soon as she tried to climb down from the soft mattress, once again feeling that stinging pain between her neck and shoulder, making her raise her hand and soothingly touch the area.
She hissed as soon as her fingers made contact with the said area, shocked to feel two punctured holes in her skin.
Her breathing fastly quickened, a million questions flying through her head as her gaze unintentionally darted back towards the first from the three white doors, her body jolting with fright as soon as she noticed the tall and intimidating figure standing in the doorway.
Cold and midnight blue galaxy eyes intently watched her, trailing over her silhouette before they settled onto that hand that clutched at the side of her neck into a rather protective manner.
The girl hesitated for a few heartbeats, gulping as she fought to gather up her courage.
"Where am I? What did you do to me?" Her voice trembled, intimidated by the Alpha's cold and merciless gaze as it met her own.
"Why can't I remember anything? Where's Emerick? What did you do to him?"
She let out a small shriek as soon as he suddenly started walking straight towards the bed, the girl scooting backwards until her bare back met a soft and cushioned headboard whilst her panicked gaze carefully followed the alien's every movement.
Her heart wildly pounded as she watched him advance, downright petrified as she reminisced all those things Emerick had previously told her about this creature.
And now he was nowhere in sight to protect her from it. She was all alone and helpless, sitting like a cornered prey and ready for the taking.
Her body shook whilst her wide blue eyes remained trained on him, trembling with anticipation as he approached until he was so close next to the mattress, her lips parting into a scream as faster than her human brain could register, a warm and big hand wrapped around her thin ankle and swiftly pulled her closer towards him.
She found herself laying on her back and harshly breathing as the alien creature hovered right above her, those midnight galaxy eyes tracing over her features for a moment, leisurely watching her as if she were a rare gem he'd just found.
"There is no need to fear me, *sola*,"
Her breath hitched at the sound of those words and his powerful voice, forgetting how to exhale as she continued to widely stare back into his eyes, her hands tightly balled into fists right above her chest as if trying to protect her very soul.
"You can forget about the BloodHound. He will never touch or see you again," He spoke into a weirdly reassuring tone as if Emerick was the evil one, not him.
"What? No!" She choked out, feeling tears already gathering at the corners of her eyes.
"What did you do to him? D-did you kill him too?"
The alien creature didn't respond and only regarded her for a while longer, seemingly intrigued by her strong reactions, actively watching as those liquid beads of crystal trailed over the sides of her face whilst her chest mildly convulsed, expelling small and broken sounds.
Madeleine's chest physically hurt as she let herself cry her heart out, mourning another loss at the hands of the very same creature responsible for the deaths of literally anyone she ever cared about.
And now she was all alone and finally in his clutches, possibly about to get raped, tortured and god-knows what else before meeting her gruesome end too.
"Wait-n-no! Let me go! Let me go you fucking monster!" She suddenly started screaming as he unexpectedly slipped his powerful arms under her body and gathered her close to his chest as if she weighted nothing, making her squirm and cry as she felt so scared about whatever was about to happen.
Yet to her utter surprise, he did not move another muscle as he quietly peered down at her, patiently waiting for her to realize that he wasn't hurting her and calm down since any resistance from her part was actually futile anyway.
"Are you done throwing your puerile tantrum?"
She abruptly stopped, shockingly gazing up at his otherworldly face with blurry eyes and barely registering the moment he started moving as he held her gaze, her hand unconsciously clutching against the lapel of his embroidered robe as her nostrils kept inhaling that familiar aroma of coconuts and something sweet, reminding her of Emerick's pleasurable scent and warmth.
Heavy and hot tears immediately started making their way down her cheeks again, crying with so much grief and defeat as she simply let herself limp in the alien's arms, allowing him to carry her to wherever he was planning to.
And soon enough, she found herself sitting in another room over a soft and cushioned seat as he gently placed her over it, moving to sprawl himself somewhere closeby afterwards, his dark galaxy eyes following every tiny little movement she made as if she were the most interesting being in the universe.
Meeting his intense gaze once, she quickly lowered hers with visible intimidation, finally taking notice of the colorful and odd-looking food spreaded all over the small and round table right in front of her, just waiting to be tasted.
However, despite the lack of proper nutrition her grieving body refused to even feel its scent, let alone push her to try and consume it as she kept reminiscing what Emerick had told her about the cruel ways the BloodHounds were being fed.
She would not consume any of this tyrant's disgusting food.
"Why did you kill him?" She quietly asked between tears after a few moments of silence as she could not help but feel so angry and desolated, daring to meet his piercing gaze again.
"I haven't. You chose to believe that I did so," He flatly answered as he continued to stare at her, making her lips part with utter surprise and just a tiny bit of hope, her heart-rate spiking as the thought of him alive immediately came accompanied by the possibility of them escaping together and maybe even running back to Earth.
She couldn't believe it. He was still alive!
"Where is he? Is he okay? I want to see him," She tentatively asked with a meek and pleading voice, her hands balling into tight fists in her lap as she desperately waited for his answer.
"After you give yourself to me," He bluntly countered back, leaning forward to rest his elbows against his spreaded knees as if readying himself to pounce on her, the girl’s eyes quickly widening with utter shock and mortification upon hearing his words.
"W-what? No! Never!" She squeaked out, instinctually recoiling as she gathered her knees close to her chest and wrapped her arms around them into a protective stance whilst her fearful gaze remained trained on him, careful enough to take notice of his every single move as she was already so scared that he could grab her and try to take her anyway.
After all, she was just a puny little human female whereas he was a tall and muscular alien creature, obviously capable of hurting or doing whatever he very well pleased with her if he wished so.
And there was nothing she could do about it.
However, she had to at least try and fight him in any way she could. She had to try and survive, at least until she’d found Emerick again.
"Very well. Then you will never see him again," The alien monster simply answered back, effectively crushing that tiny spark of hope inside of her.
