Rohit's POV



I took her in my arms and hugged her. Even she wrapped her arms around my torso. I wanted to kiss her senseless but controlled.

" You are very brave and smart beautiful. You handled the situation very well and saved both of you from the situation. I am proud of you. But Sia, the worst is over. You were not stupid to fall for him. It was the purity of your heart that you trusted him but when you got to know about his plan, you proved that you were smart enough to avoid that disastrous fate. She smiled at me.

" Do you think so?? " She asked hesitantly.

" Yes... You are my feisty warrior after all. " I tighten my arms around her.

" What is this feisty warrior?? " She looked at me with raised eyebrows.

" I was attacked by a beautiful and feisty girl who slapped me just because I clicked the picture of my sister-in-law. Then she fought with me forcing me to delete the pictures. So since then, she is my feisty warrior." I said and she smiled shyly and tried to get out of my arms and I released her reluctantly.

" So Priya and Rahul Ji are coming today... I am so happy. " she looked genuinely happy.

" I am also very happy, I missed them too. You know I never had a sister so I enjoy having Priya around. We tease each other. "

" She teases you?? What for? " She was shocked.

What do I tell her now??

" Yes, she does... About someone... and I love being teased. You know she makes awesome food for all of us. I love everything she makes. " I said changing the topic.

" Oh, I almost forgot... I got food for you today. Mom was not feeling very well so I cooked the meals today. "

" Wow!! Let's eat it.. "

" But it is just 10 AM. "

" So what?? Is it a rule that I can't eat before 2 PM? I can't wait to eat the food made by you. Did you have your breakfast? " I asked.

" I knew that, Let's attack the food. Hurry up, my boss is not here in the office. We must finish before he comes or he will scold us. " I winked at her and said like a five-year-old boy and she giggled like a 4-year old cute girl.

She brought the food in my cabin and I asked the peon to get plates for us.

" I am really hungry. Actually, I was getting late and so to save on time I skipped my breakfast." I said and she smiled and served the food in our plates.

" Nobody in my family, ate well last night hence I made my brother's favourite food so that he would not be able to resist it. He was really angry last night. " She said and I just nodded.

I needed to change the subject or she would be sad again.

" Wow!!! Kadhai Paneer, Makhni daal and parantha. Are you trying to impress me, warrior?? " I said with a wink.

" Why would I do that?? " she made a face.

" Well, I am very handsome you see. " I said in style but she just laughed.

" Who told you that?? " she asked trying to control her laugh.

" You. " I said.

" When did I say that?? "

" I heard a voice coming from your heart. " I said again winking at her.

" Rubbish... "

" Ok ... I am not handsome but you are very beautiful my feisty warrior. I was already impressed by you... But please tell me how can I impress you?? "

" Rohit will you please stop. This is an office. "

" Yeah, this is office, then we must talk about it somewhere else right?? Will you come on a date with me? "

" Wrong.. we must not talk about it. Come on start eating," she said and I smiled and tasted the food.

It was really good. I enjoyed a few bites before I asked her,

" Umm... Did you make this? "

" Hmm," she said with a smile.

" Yes sir.. "

" And do you know, how to make laddoos too? "

" Yeah, why?? "

" I have finally found a girl whom I have to impress as I am already floored by her. "

" I asked Priya to find a girl who can cook and make laddoos like her. I found her now. Done... I need to impress her and then talk to both side of parents and then marry her."

" Stop eating right now. " She said in a very angry tone.

" Why ?? " I said taking another bite of the food.

" I don't want you to eat this... Go and marry some halwai. "

" Arre baba, don't get jealous, I was talking about you. " I was laughing at that.

" Jealous my foot... I know you are talking about me...but you want to marry a girl because she cooks well ?" She was glaring at me. I took her hand in mine and pulled a chair closer to mine.

" No sweetheart, I want to marry a girl who slapped me on our first meeting. She is beautiful and feisty who is ready to fight with a stranger for her friend. She captured my heart on the very first day we met. She is sweet, cute, talented, cultured and has good values. On top of that, she can cook well and even make laddoes for me." I said looking into her eyes. Her expression softened with every word of mine. I could see that she was blushing.

" Oh please... Do you say that you all the girls?? "

" Do you think that I get slapped by every girl on my first meeting?? It was only you beautiful. " I raised my eyebrows and asked and then smiled bat her.

" Stop flirting with me and finish your food. We have a lot of things to do. Remember we have too much work to do. " She started eating fast looking at her plate. But I could see that her face was changing the colour. I was so happy that I just made her blush. I smiled but didn't say anything as I didn't want to push her too much.

" Yeah, we have to work... But thank you so much, the food was awesome and I was very hungry. I enjoyed it a lot. I want to thank you, the way my mom said we should, but you may not like it so, for now, thanks for the food. Please make it again for me. " I said shaking her hand. Though I wanted to...

" Is there any other way to thank someone for cooking food for us?? Why would I not like that way? " She was confused now.

Don't tempt me, sweetheart...

" Yes, my mom started the new trend after the Bhai got married. I just assumed that you may not like it. But I may be wrong too. "

" What are you talking about? Why are you talking in riddles? What is the new way? "

" Let it be... Thanks for the amazing food. Please make it again for me. " I said and smiled trying to suppress my urge to hug or kiss her.

" Ok. "She was looking at me weirdly.

I smiled and she went to her cabin and we got down to our work. I was happy that she was normal and was smiling again.

I went to where everyone else was working. She also came there within minutes. She greeted everyone.

Sumit saw her and came towards her, " Hello Sia Ji, how are you feeling now? I am sorry for what happened yesterday. I want to apologise for my cousin's behaviour. " He said in a low voice so only we could hear.

" Oh no, Sumit Ji... Please don't say that in fact, I was just about to come and thank you for being so considerate. You went against your own family and stood by me. It means a lot to me and my family. Thank you so much. I must say that Ruchi is very lucky that she got you as her life partner. Congratulations!!"

She said with a smile.

" I had to take your side at any cost... I know you well. You are so sweet and down to earth. I know Aman too, he has always been like that. Don't worry my parents know that I was right.
