Chapter 27

Rohit's POV



We all worked very hard for the whole day. Everyone had planned to work for a few extra hours.

I had to go out for some meeting with some Clients. It was very long but successful. I came back to my office and was still at the reception. When I heard that a man of about my age asked about Sia.

I was wondering, who was he? His back was facing towards me. So I went after him. He saw her and went towards her. She saw him coming towards her and she smiled and hugged him.

Oh god !! I felt a sharp pang of jealousy.

She was working with Sumit and Yash at that time, so she introduced that man to them. I was feeling bad somehow that she looked at him with so much love and hugged him.

That man said something to Sumit and Sumit was smiling like anything and he embraced that man.

That's it... I was getting annoyed so I went towards them. But my phone rang and saw that it was bhai so I picked up the phone and went towards my cabin.

Bhai wanted to talk to dad but his phone was not reachable. So I went to my dad's cabin.

I came back after 10 minutes to find that she had already left with him.

Who was he?? Why didn't she introduced him to me?? Why didn't she wait for me?

Sia's POV



Today bhai had come to meet and thank Rohit for helping me. But he was in his dad's cabin. Though we waited for around 5 minutes then I thought that it may take very long. So we came back. I wanted to say bye to him. I just loved the way he tried to get me out of that sulking.

He didn't judge me and stood by me there at the engagement. He even said that he would kill Aman if I don't get normal.

Was he so serious about me?

I took my phone and dialled his number but he did not pick up the phone...

I was really missing him so kept thinking about him till I slipped into slumber.

Rohit's POV



Dad and I came home from the office. Mom was already very excited as Bhai and Priya were coming today. Bhai had told me not to come to the airport but I still insisted and went.

I saw them coming towards me. Their faces were glowing. I hugged both of them. I asked them about their trip and Priya blushed really hard while Bhai gave a mischievous look to her and chuckled. He then said it was great.. Then he congratulated me for the project I got.

We kept all their bags in the car and came home. There was so much excitement everywhere. Mom and dad looked so happy. By the time I came back to my room, it was almost midnight and then I saw that I had a missed call by Sia. Though I was a bit angry with her still my heartbeat increased.

It was too late to call anyone. But I wanted to know why she called me.

I was doing breakfast when Priya and Bhai asked me about the progress in Sia's case.

I just shook my head and gave a faint smile. I got up to go to the office. I was still upset that she hugged that man and was looking at him with love and trust.

I was going when Priya asked me what happened?

I told her a few things and said that I am getting late and will talk to her once I come back. Before she could ask another question, I left for the office.

I reached the office and told everyone to come to my office.

" All of you please be ready with everything as Bhai would come to the office in a few hours. " I said.

I wanted to surprise him with the amount of the work already done and the plan and designs for the new contract.

Sooraj and Julie had also ordered a cake for him.

" What about Priya? " Sia asked with anticipation.

" She would join in a day or two... " I said to her without a smile.

" C'mon everyone, do your work. Sumit and Yash I want you to display some finished samples of the garments in the conference room. And also add those finished tie and dye designs there. " I gave instructions to Sumit and Yash they nodded and left

" Sooraj I want a presentation showing everything we have covered in his absence. " Sooraj smiled and nodded.

" Julie, you will take care of his cabin. Arrange everything properly. " I said to her and she smiled at me.

" Don't worry everything will be done in an hour. I have ordered flowers and a cake." I gave her an encouraging smile and she took her to leave.

" And what am I supposed to do?? " Sia asked me with a smile.

" Umm ... I don't know, Do whatever you want. " I said. I was still angry with her for going without telling me and that too with another man. She introduced him to everyone except me.

" What happened?? " she asked

" Nothing.. "

" Why are you behaving like this? "

" Like what?? " I asked as If I didn't know what was she talking about.

" You know, what I mean.. "

" No, I don't .. Sia please do whatever you want to do... I am s bit busy, please. " I said and left the room to see all the arrangements. I wanted to surprise Bhai. He was a bit stressed that he had not worked for almost a month. I wanted him to relax and also show him what I learnt from him only. He was my mentor. I wanted him to be very proud of me.

Sia's POV



What's wrong with him?? Was he avoiding me??

Why would he do that?? I tried to find one valid reason but could not... He was behaving so nicely yesterday.

But he was definitely avoiding me?? What have I done wrong?? He assigned work to everyone but me. Why??

I felt disappointed and went to my cabin but just then Yash came to ask me for something and as I was not doing anything, I went along with him.

I started helping Sumit Ji and Yash. I was enjoying in displaying the samples. I was quite good at that as we had a lot of such things in our college. It was a part of our curriculum. I asked him to get some mannequins. We displayed dresses on them along with stoles, dupattas and scarfs draped in different ways. They were so impressed that they clapped.

I gave a few more ideas and Sumit Ji liked them. We all worked and laughed together.

" You are so good at all these things. Amazing... You are truly a perfect woman..... " Yash said with a smile. And I just waved it off with a giggle.

" Can you all be more serious about your work?? Please. What are you doing here, Sia??" We turned to see Rohit frowning at us.

What has gotten into him??

" You didn't tell me, what to do so I got the work started with the workers and came here to help to display these things. "

" Sir she is amazing at that... She is doing it better than us. " Yash said.

" Did I ask for your opinion Yash?? " he was so furious.

" No sir.. sorry. "

" Then do your work quietly and quickly. "

Well, that was a bit rude... Why was he being like Mr Arrogant again?

Sumit Ji asked me, " Sia Ji, can you please decorate the display board near Rahul sir's cabin while we finish this the way you suggested? "

I nodded and took some samples of everything.

Rohit took the stuff from me and helped them carrying to another display area.

" Sia Ji, do you need more mannequins?" Sumit Ji asked.

" Yes, I would be needing at least two. Can you please arrange and send them soon?" I said and gave a smile to both of them.
