About an hour after Elena went downstairs to join Alpha Jaxon in welcoming their guests, I sneaked out of her room and entered the narrow corridor.
As I approached the Alpha’s room, I could hear male voices inside but they sounded far away. I was afraid but my desire to get back my necklace pushed me further.
I opened the door to the den and saw that the room was empty and only a few lights were on. I didn’t know where exactly to look to find my necklace but I went forward.
I heard the voices again; one sounded like moaning while the other was panting. I was curious to know what was going on, so I traced the voices to Jaxon’s closet. My eyes widened when I saw what was causing all that moaning and panting.
Alpha Jaxon had Tarik pinned against the wall and was humping him from behind. One of his hands pinned Tarik’s neck, while the other gripped the Beta’s hip.
I saw Jaxon’s large cock going in and out of Tarik’s ass and my jaw dropped. I gasped in shock and they heard me.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” Alpha Jaxon shouted at me.
“I’m sorry,” I said fearfully. “I’m so sorry.”

“Now, you…” he said, looking at me with angry eyes. “Why are you here?”

“So?”

Alpha Jaxon smiled slowly but his eyes remained angry. “It’s right here,” he said. “Come and get it.”
“Run!” Tarik shouted at me.
I didn’t move immediately because I was confused. But when I saw that the Alpha was shapeshifting into his wolf form, I stepped back and started running.
He came after me just as I reached the door and he slammed it shut with his muzzle before I could escape.
“I told you you’ll be sorry, didn’t I?” He asked me.
His large teeth were open and it seemed he was about to bite me he suddenly stopped and looked down at my body. I looked down too and saw water running down my legs.
“My water has broken!” I screamed. “My baby is coming!”
Alpha Jaxon stepped back and said, “Already?”
Tarik came to join us. He was still naked but it didn’t bother me. I had a bigger problem to deal with right now.
“Don’t even think about having that baby here,” the Alpha warned me.
Pain gripped me and I cried out, holding my belly. I had been so obsessed with reclaiming my necklace and escaping that I hadn’t thought much about my pregnancy or what to expect when I had to give birth. I wasn’t prepared for this.
“Get her out of here!” He yelled at Tarik.
The Beta ran back into the closet to grab his pants and wear them quickly, then he came back to meet me where I stood by the door, crying in pain.
He put my arm over his shoulder and helped me walk out of the room. I was in so much pain that I could barely walk.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked.
“To the pack hospital, of course,” he said as we continued down the corridor.
As we came out into the gallery garden, we met Elena coming toward us. She was holding a glass of wine and smiling but her face became serious when she saw us.
“What’s this? Where are you taking her to?” She asked Tarik.
“Her baby is coming. I’m taking her to the pack hospital.”
“Don’t be ridiculous! We have guests in the palace. You can’t let them see her.”
“Please!” I cried. “I can’t take this pain anymore. Help me!”
“Be quiet!” She yelled at me. “Tarik, take her to the attic through the back stairs. Make sure nobody sees you.”
He took me back to the corridor and followed a path that I hadn’t noticed before. It led to a staircase that looked deserted. We climbed and climbed until my legs began to shake from all that effort.
Finally, we reached the attic on the third floor and Tarik laid me on a narrow dusty bed. The room was dark and stuffy, so he opened the only window there to let some air in.
“I’ll go and get some candles and water, and then see if any of the women in the harem know anything about birthing babies,” he said.
“Please, don’t leave me,” I begged him. “I don’t want to be alone here.”
“Look, I can’t help you but if I leave now, I might find someone who can.”
He left the attic, leaving me alone inside. The pain had become stronger than before and I could barely breathe. I looked out the window and saw the full moon shining gloriously in the sky.
I said a silent prayer to the moon goddess to help me and let me birth my baby safely. I started to feel a strong pressure between my legs and I wondered if it was time for me to push. Tarik had been gone for several minutes now and I was afraid to do this alone.
When I couldn’t bear the pain any longer, I started to push. It was the most agonizing experience of my life. I kept pushing and hoping that someone would come to help me soon. I felt my body opening up and my baby finally struggled through and came out.
The attic door opened just then and Tarik came in, followed by Lynda.
“You did it!” She screamed happily and picked up my crying baby. She placed the child in my arms and immediately started cleaning me up with the cloth she came with.
“You’re stronger than I thought,” said Tarik, smiling at me proudly.
I smiled back, then I looked down at my baby. It was a boy and the spitting image of his fathers. My heart squeezed with sadness when I remembered them. How I wish they could have witnessed this beautiful moment with me.
“What will you name him?” Lynda asked me.
I yawned tiredly. “I don’t know yet,” I said. “The only thing on my mind right now is sleeping. I need to take a nap and when I wake up, I will name him.”
“That’s a good idea,” said Lynda. “Let me clean him up for you.”
“I’ll let the Alpha and Luna know that you’ve given birth,” said Tarik and he left.
“What a beautiful child,” said Lynda lovingly as she cleaned my baby. “Now, you have something to cheer you up here.”
“I still want to leave,” I told her. “I have to take my child back home to meet his fathers.”
Lynda shook her head slowly. “Haven’t you learned anything since you’ve been here? You can’t leave, Jade. This is your home now.”
“No. I can leave and I will. I will not raise my child as a slave.”
She sighed. “Let’s not worry about that now. You need to rest. Go on, close your eyes and sleep. When you wake up, I’ll have some food here for you to eat.”
I smiled at her, grateful for her help. “Thank you,” I said sleepily.
Feeling completely worn out, I closed my eyes and fell asleep immediately. I don’t know how long I was asleep, but when I woke up, everywhere was quiet.
I looked around and realized that I was alone. Everyone was gone including my baby.
“No,” I whispered to myself. I could feel a sinking sensation at the bottom of my stomach and I knew something was terribly wrong.
I was in so much pain but it didn’t stop me from getting out of the dusty bed. I walked to the door to open it and realized that it was locked.
Someone had taken my baby away and locked me inside the attic alone!
“Where is my baby?” I screamed. “Open the door! Tarik! Lynda!”
I kept hitting the door and screaming but nobody came. I did that for hours until my throat was raw from screaming and my hands were sore from banging on the door.
Alpha Jaxon and Luna Elena had stolen my baby from me and locked me inside their attic to die alone. My life was officially over!
