{The fun trip.}

Clarissa pov.

"Are you leaving so soon this was supposed to be a fun trip, and not some kind of fun run." He said to me as it was all over my face that I was Shocked to see him there.

"I thought you said you wanted to go get something for the storeroom, What are you doing here?" I said to him as my heart kept beating fast as a drum.

"!!! I wanted to go get the keys to the store room, and that is why I am here." He said to me as he kept staring like he had seen a ghost.

"Oh! Ok!" I said to him as I prayed in my mind that he would not ask any further questions.

" but that still hasn't answered my question, what the hell are you doing here? And with your bags?" He said to me as he waited for an answer.
I was short of words. I didn't even know what to say for a response.

"I…I…!! " I finally summoned the courage to answer, but during the process of answering I stammered I could not even say any other word that 'i'.

"Wait, calm down, there is no big deal about it, you just have to tell me where you are going and that is all." He honestly said to me,
At this point I have nothing to hide. I just have to spill it out. After all, he is not going to kill me, he doesn't even have the right to lay a finger on me.
If he sack's me I would find a better job somewhere else. I cannot stay here again, not even for a minute.

"I have told you a several times, it you are battling if you are battling with any discomfort or any form of dissatisfaction, you can tell it out to me and I will look for a way to solve it, afterall, you are not a stranger to me I have known you for quite long now, and you have the right to be free." He said to me as I was quite happy with the way hile sounded, the point I tried to reason the same thing again, I am I like to correct the mistakes I made in my former life, I never willing to go back to it, it is definitely going to be a very big disappointment if I end up making the same mistake I made in the past, the same mistake that turned my life upside down.

I still do not understand why he is so nice, and giving me so many reasons to be his friend.
I can't even believe that we ended up being business partners.
I guess I will think it over again when I get home, but on this fun trip, my head is as full as anyone could ever imagine it to be.


"You're right, I was going somewhere, his fun trip is quite uncomfortable and I do not want to be here even for a minute, I have to get home as soon as possible." I said to him and hoped he would understand me.

"Okay if you say so then it is not a big deal, you are free to do as you wish but do not forget to be late to work on Monday, there is going to be a business presentation and you are going to be the one hosting it." He said to me, I was quite happy that he mentioned it earlier because I did not know that I would be the one to close the presentation on Monday.

"Thank you so much for telling me, I'll be at work as early as possible on Monday." I said to him,

"Ok then have a nice day, I cannot pretend to the fact that I am not happy that you are leaving so early, and I cannot equally stop you from doing as you wish, once again have a nice day." He said to me as it was quite obvious in his face that he wasn't happy with my decision to leave.
I had already gotten to the gate that leads to the hotel exit when I cited a woman running towards my direction. A human happens to be running so fast and comes with a lot of energy. I was just surprised because I wondered how a woman would be filled with so much energy and speed.

I decided not to go until I saw who the person was, because it was quite obvious that the person was coming directly to where I was, she waved her hands as she tried to tell me to wait.

After a few seconds of running the person got very close to where I was, and when the person who was just a few meters away, I realized that it was not a lady, it was a man.

The man facially and physically turned out to be Damon.
He tried to confront his head and that is why I could not clearly see his face.


He wanted to give me this car because he has detected that there will be a very heavy rainfall on the northern side of the city. I am going to tell you the truth and by this time of the year it is quite obvious that when there is heavy rainfall the weather condition will be very cold.

"Have it, it's around your neck, it is a tick and quality material made up of very expensive wool, I am pretty sure that it is going to protect you from the cold ahead of you, I hope you have a nice day and do not forget to tell me if you need any help from me." He rushed his words as he said to me.

"Wait before you go, I also have something very important to ask you." I said to him as I held his hands.

"You have a very long journey ahead of you, your home is very far from here and you have to get going as soon as possible. What could be so important for you to ask?" He said to me as it was obvious in his face that he was curious to hear what I was about to ask.

"It is very important and it is a question, very important to the extent that I will not leave here until you answer me." I said to him so as to make him understand how important the question is to me.

"I would love to know why you are so nice to me, we are not selective Media degree share anything in common, but you never stop to show love to me, you are always being so nice to me, you did not say or do any bad thing to me, rather you try to make me comfortable and happy anywhere ever I am, it really bothers me because I have never done anything good for you, I would really love to know why you are so nice to me?" I said to him as he smiled.

"Since you are not going to leave until I give you an answer, then I guess I am going to postpone the answer till tomorrow." He said as I burst into laughter, also laughed and the place was full of laughter…

"That was quite funny, but to be sincere, I would really love to get an answer to that. I know the question appears to be quite tricky and twisted, to you, but on my own part it is as reasonable as anyone could ever imagine it to be." I said to him,
He placed his hands in his pocket, relaxed his back on the wall, and stared at me.

Wondering why he was staring at me so much was what baffles me the most. You didn't answer the question but he stared at me with those tricky eyes.

"Why do you keep staring at me? I asked you a question but you did not answer. You placed your hand in your pocket and kept staring at me. I hope there is no problem at all." When I said to him, deep down in my heart I could not deny the fact that his house was the most attractive one I have ever seen in my life, that was why it was easy for him to get me in the past.

I still do have to be strong, I should never allow those beautiful eyes and attractive skin get to me, I have two strong in my heart and I make sure he does not make me a phone for the second time.


"Let me put it this way, you are human, and you deserve to be taken care of, that is all I have to say to you, I hope you have a very nice day and a nice trip too." He said to me while he was standing right in front of me.
The shock from his response didn't allow me to move, I stood there and stared at him, and before I knew what was happening he gave me a very big hug and kissed my head.
