How did I get here when I am supposed to be at the meeting? said Clarissa as she checked her time,ooooh no I am very late and the board of directors will be very disappointed in me because this is not what we bargained for.She said within herself.
Meanwhile Alpha Clyde was in the bathroom taking his Shower and singing.


Clarissa got up from the bed and checked herself in the mirror hurriedly as she walked towards the bathroom where Alpha Clyde was." Alpha Clyde, aren't you true with bathing?".We are running late for the conference meeting, pls hurry up. I am almost done, just give me a few minutes said Alpha Clyde as he tied his towel around his waist and came out from the toilet.


Alpha Clyde you know I wasn't supposed to be here with you if not that they offered us a room and I am not comfortable with you here. I think I will get myself a room outside, `` said Clarissa."pls Clarissa you know I love you,don't do this to me".what have I done to deserve this treatment from you,Alpha Clyde said to Clarissa.
You haven't done anything wrong but I can't just start up a relationship with you due to some reasons. "What reasons? Alpha Clyde said". Alpha Clyde, we are running late already. I want to go and take my bath,we will talk later. Clarissa went into the Bathroom as Alpha Clyde stood dumbfounded.


Alpha Clyde was already in the car waiting for Clarissa impatiently as they were extremely late for the conference meeting.
As Clarissa walked towards the car, she was looking beautiful as always, she was putting on a Beautiful red gown and her hair was Well kept in place. Alpha Clyde wasn't looking bad either,he was putting on a black trouser and a neat suit, tie to match also.Alpha Clyde was just glancing at Clarissa as she moved towards the car.As she entered the car, Alpha Clyde then told Clarissa she was looking like an angel. pls stop flattering me said Clarissa.No I am not flattering you, that is the bitter truth. Clarissa didn't utter a word as Alpha Clyde zoomed out from the hotel.

The board of Directors were waiting impatiently as the meeting was about to begin. Alpha Clyde and Clarissa were nowhere to be found. The meeting was scheduled to begin at 10am. It was almost 10 am already as Alpha Clyde and Clarissa hurriedly entered the conference room as they exchanged pleasantries with some of the board members."Why did you keep us waiting?said one of the board of directors".Alpha Clyde answered and said we experienced some traffic issues while we were on our way for the meeting,"we are very sorry sir,".it won't repeat itself again.Clarissa just stood there without uttering a word.The Conference meeting started and ended successfully and everybody was happy with each other. There wasn't any misunderstanding when the meeting went on. The duration of the meeting lasted for about 45 minutes.Alpha Clyde was very exhausted and he told Clarissa that they should go out to have a drink together.Clarissa blatantly refused and he wasn't happy about it.

Clarissa was all alone by herself as she was thinking about her past life. she said within herself, "should I still give Alpha Clyde another chance?" her instincts then said "why should you give him another chance?". someone that had been cruel to you. He even cheated on you with your sister when you gave him your heart. Clarissa was still lost in thought when her long time friend rushed into her. Oooh Clarissa what have you been doing there all by yourself. I was just lost in thought. It isn't something important, said Clarissa.long time dear," how have you been?".You just abandoned me and never called, said Clarissa. "I am very sorry," it isn't what you are thinking. I have been very busy with work lately said Daniel. "Are you married already?said Daniel". No, I haven't gotten married. I am still waiting for the right person Clarissa said.You were such an intelligent person when we were in school. I missed the time we spent together. Daniel said happily.Daniel was one of the board of directors but he wasn't present in the meeting because of traffic issues."Can we go out to have a launch together?Said Daniel".Clarissa paused for a while and replied with a yes. Daniel was very happy because he had been trying to woo Clarissa when they were still in School but his efforts were abortive.

Clarissa and Daniel were together eating when Alpha Clyde called her and asked where she was. She replied to Alpha Clyde with a harsh voice that it is none of his business for him to know where she is. She hung the phone on him. "Who was that? Said Daniel"and "why did you reply to the person with a harsh tone?". Pls let us forget about that person, he is a nuisance said Clarissa.As they were eating Daniel was just staring at her. Clarissa noticed it but she didn't say anything.when it was unbearable for her,she asked him why he was staring at her. Daniel told her she was still looking beautiful as always and he will love to spend his lifetime with her. Clarissa was perplexed,she was laughing hard. Daniel too joined her.when the laughter had died down, He told her that he was very serious.Daniel started confessing his feelings to her,Daniel told her he had liked her way back in school.all efforts to ask her out was all abortive.Daniel told Clarissa he wants the best for her that she should give him a chance and he promise not to break her heart.Clarissa was shocked at what she was hearing. She didn't say anything.Daniel stopped talking as the both of them ate their food quietly afterwards and left for their abode.

Clarissa went back to the hotel room to pack her luggages because the conference meeting was over,when she entered the room,she met Alpha Clyde who was impatiently waiting for her to come in.

Clarissa I called your phone several times without a number,you ignored my calls and when you picked it up,your tone was so harsh towards me. "What did I do to deserve all this from you?". Is it a crime to love or to express your love to someone again."Clarissa you know I love you Alpha Clyde said emotionally".Alpha Clyde just hold it there,is it because of we are business partners now that you think you can use that opportunity to get what you want,I said I don't wanna go into a relationship with you for some reasons and you're forcing me.wait,come to think of it,"do they force love nowadays?" Cause I don't get what you're saying.you can keep your love to yourself,I'm out of here Clarissa said angrily.Clarissa try to put yourselves in my shoes,"is it a crime to love you?"."why are you punishing me?", Clarissa pls give me a chance in your heart,I promise not to break your heart, Alpha Clyde said in tears

{Clarissa hissed and took her luggages and left the room before he could say another word to her,when she got out of the hotel,she tried boarding a cab but none was found on the street so she was waiting impatiently on the road,she didn't want the wolf in sheep clothing which is Alpha Clyde to meet her outside, fortunately she saw Daniel Car which highlighted before her} Clarissa you can't find a cab around here,why not let me drive you down to your home said Daniel.No thank You Sir, I'll just order a cab,Thanks for your concern sir Clarissa said Quickly." {Why on earth did she call me sir,am I old?" Or "am I already so ugly to her, Daniel said in his mind}". Please I insist that you should enter the car and let me drop you off Daniel said.Okay if you insist Clarissa said (she got inside the car and Daniel helped her put her luggages in the boot then entered his car and zoomed off,Alpha Clyde was at the other side of the road inside his car looking suspiciously at Mitchell and daniel,he hissed angrily snapping his fingers then zoomed off too)

Daniel's car highlighted in front of Clarissa's compound.He bid her bye and left,she opened her door and entered the house.The first person she saw was her enemy." Hey, what are you doing there?"."Why are you just sitting lazy around the house? Esther said to Clarissa angrily".
I'm not in for your drama Clarissa,you just came home from a long journey and all u could do is to rant at me,you better get yourself a job Clarissa replied harshly.
You're in my house Esther so you do as I say,you can't just sit at home all day and eat my food,drink and enjoy yourself at home staying jobless for 5 years and still counting Clarissa said. Okay then,you can shout all you want,I'm going outside to cool my head,maybe when you don't see me here,you will shout at yourself cos all you do is to shout at me all day,"what did I do to you sis?". What you're doing is bad and you know that shouted Esther. Go and cool your head outside cos you need to calm that dumb brain of yours,I am going upstairs to take a shower dumb Sissy said Clarissa as she goes upstairs while her sister(Esther) goes out of the house.

While in the bathroom Clarissa started soliloquizing.what if what I'm doing to Alpha Clyde and My sister(Esther) is wrong and they won't forgive me ever.what if they have changed for real and they won't repeat same thing they did in the past.I am being wicked to the only people I have on earth,"will they ever forgive me for all what I'm doing to them?" The past is the past,now Is the present, let me give them a chance and see if…

Clarissa!!! Clarissa!!! Clarissa!!! Come down here now,Esther shouted like a crying baby. Here I am," why were you shouting my name freak? Clarissa answered". Well the ice cream in the refrigerator got finished just now so I'm asking if you bought some on ur way home from the conference Esther asked politely.
So you called me out here to ask for ice cream. Wow,you have grown so old to be more foolish,I didn't expect something different though I should just get back to sleep Clarissa said and left for her room. She is just a burden to me in this house. I guess I'm gonna leave this house for her before she kills me with boredom here, said Esther. You could say all what you want but I won't give you any ice cream so get yourself a job and work to earn your money instead of just enjoying the labor of others Clarissa said as she entered her room and slammed the door.
