Berserk

"He's great, right?" Bob started again. Seeing the scene of the two couples embracing made him start to fantasize wildly. In his eyes, Azura and Aiden looked very harmonious, even though their height was very striking.

"Never mind, let go of your hug! My body is sweaty, smelly, don't you know?" Aiden said as he let go of Azura's hug.

"It doesn't smell! I like your smell, Aiden!"

"Stupid! Don't say that here! Never mind, I'm going to take a shower!"

"Wait, Aiden!"

"Especially?"

"You're hurt, doesn't it hurt?" He said while touching Aiden's face. Her face looks worried and makes her look very cute. Aiden started to feel anxious again because his heart was beating very fast when Azura suddenly hugged him. This girl knows absolutely no boundaries. He made physical contact as if it was normal. However, for Aiden, who rarely had physical contact, let alone hugging someone, he still felt awkward.

He looked into Azura's eyes, he could see the sincerity in her eyes. Azura doesn't pretend to just get attention, she is like this as if she doesn't come from this world.

Because he was carried away by a comfortable feeling, he unconsciously kissed Azura in front of Bob and his other colleagues.

"Can I be like this? Kissing another girl while I'm still waiting for her to open her heart to me. But why can't I control my feelings?" He thought. This kiss lasted for a minute, the rumbling in his heart grew stronger. As soon as the kiss stopped, their eyes looked at each other.

Aiden let go of his hug and stepped into the dressing room without saying anything. Azura, Bob and everyone in this room were silent, confused as to what was actually happening. What they didn't know was that Aiden was trying so hard to maintain what he had been fighting for and he didn't want it all to be destroyed just because of his momentary desires.

"Miss Azura, are you okay? Maybe he's tired because he just competed. But he kissed you earlier, are you happy?" Bob tried to comfort Azura who looked confused by Aiden's unpredictable attitude.

Azura sighed, she couldn't say it that she had heard the sound of their heartbeats which seemed to be in rhythm and made her feel that there was a strange bond that was starting to bind the two of them.

"It's more than I expected, it's true that you gave me more!" Aiden said while counting the money in his hand.

"Can you create a new account? I'd hate to have to withdraw cash for you!" Bob said in protest. Every time he gets money from a match, Aiden always asks for cash, instead of transferring it to his bank account.

Aiden sat relaxed with his feet on the table, he counted out quite a large amount of money and let Bob wait for him to finish counting.

"Having a bank account means my whereabouts can be tracked easily. It's not necessary anyway, I prefer cash!"

"You plebeian! You live in modern times, bro! So stop being old-fashioned and one more thing, please replace your cell phone with a smartphone so we can exchange messages via WhatsApp or Telegram!"

"I'm not wasting time exchanging messages with a perverted guy like you. OK, I can go now, right?"

"Are you busy? How about we go to the pub? I'll treat you to unlimited beer!"

"I'll go to the clothing store with Azura, I'll buy her clothes and underwear."

"Wow...wow...you really care, don't you? He lives in your dirty flat?"

"It's better for him not to be in my shabby flat than to have to live in a luxurious penthouse with a man like that!"

"You bastard, Aiden!"

"Ha ha ha..."

Aiden came out of the staff room after realizing that he had left Azura alone for too long. When he returned to the waiting room, Azura was no longer there.

"Azura...!" This room was quiet because most of the spectators and staff had gone home since the match finished two hours ago.

Aiden panicked, he looked for Azura throughout the building. But Azura was nowhere. He forgot that he could easily find Azura just by relying on his very sharp sense of smell.

"From the baseman's direction!" He thought as he started to know where Azura was.

Aiden ran to the baseman with a bad feeling he had. When he arrived at the quiet basement, he saw three men standing around a woman who looked scared.

"Tch, you bastard!"

Aiden ran quickly towards the gang of bastards before they did something bad to Azura. Without warning and unexpectedly, the three men were beaten by him who looked very angry.

"Aiden?" Azura curled up in the corner of the wall with her body shaking. He was very happy when he saw Aiden come to help him.

"Azura, did they hurt you?

"Aiden, I'm scared...!" Azura sobbed. She really didn't know what would have happened to her if Aiden hadn't come. Seeing Azura cry made his emotions even higher.

His blood flow increased greatly and made him enter demon mode. One of the men was carrying a sharp weapon and tried to attack him. However, with just one blow to the solar plexus, the man immediately fell to the ground.

After one of them fainted, Aiden immediately beat the other two without mercy. The two men were battered and covered in blood, they screamed for mercy because they felt that Aiden was going to kill them.

"Please, forgive us...!"

Azura was shaking, but she couldn't move her body. Seeing Aiden go berserk and almost kill the three men made her scared. He started to feel sorry for them and didn't want Aiden to kill because of him.

Azura tried to stand up even though she felt very weak all over her body. She staggered towards Aiden who was still not satisfied with beating them. Azura hugged Aiden's back and sobbed.

"Aiden, stop! Please stop!"
