Waiting For You

Azura was pensive while staring at the rotating wall clock. Aiden told her that he would go home when the clock pointed to five. She didn't know how long it was, but seeing how she had waited quite a long time, she knew that the time needed to wait for Aiden would not be as long as the time she spent getting out of the underwater prison.

"Will Aiden be home for a long time yet?" She thought. She was starting to get bored, but worst of all, she was starting to miss Aiden.

She continued to do the same thing, opening the window, looking at the small birds perched on the balcony pillars. Occasionally she smiled when the birds looked at her gently. When the little birds were gone, she would go back inside, lie down on the sofa and watch television shows she didn't really understand. She just wanted to see Aiden compete on television. Because she was too bored, her eyes started to feel sleepy and she fell asleep without realizing it.

"Azura! Azura! Wake up, Azura!"

"Aiden?"

Azura opened her eyes, she saw Aiden's face which she missed. Her eyes immediately opened wide and she immediately hugged Aiden very tightly.

"Aiden, are you back?" The tight hug that Azura gave surprised Aiden. He had just opened the door and entered the house when he realized that Azura was asleep on the sofa. He woke her up because he thought it was time for Azura to take a shower.

"You were waiting for me, weren't you?"

"Yes!" She answered with a gentle smile. Of course, Aiden didn't expect that Azura would be so frank like this because it would only make him feel uneasy. He was just afraid that he would melt and fall in love with this girl.

Aiden touched Azura's face gently and kissed her forehead. Azura really enjoyed it when Aiden kissed her forehead like this, she felt so appreciated and loved even though she knew that Aiden didn't love her.

"Are you hungry?" Aiden asked. Azura nodded even though she kept munching on the snacks Aiden had prepared for her all day. However, she always felt hungry like a growing baby.

"I'm hungry, I want to eat, Aiden!"

"Then, you take a shower first, I'll cook for dinner!"

"Okay!"

Azura immediately ran to the bathroom, took off her clothes and turned on the shower. She sang happily because Aiden had come home after waiting for her all tiring day.

Aiden could hear her voice all the way to the kitchen, where Aiden was preparing dinner feeling a little tired because it was his first day at work and the seniors seemed to be testing his dexterity and strength so that he was barely allowed to rest except during lunch for 15 minutes.

This house is a mess, he doesn't know what the girl does when he's not home, so that this house can be filled with snack waste. The girl has absolutely no manners and doesn't know how to throw away trash properly.

"Looks like she also needs to be taught manners." Aiden muttered irritably. He doesn't know what this girl really is so she doesn't know how to live properly. It felt like animals still did it better than this girl.

Dring...dring...dring...

His new smartphone rang, he didn't expect that it was Bob who was trying to contact him because at the moment he didn't want to compete in wrestling and appeared on an unknown TV channel. He just wants to live a peaceful life after he finds a potential candidate to be his partner.

He had to form a pack, but an alpha in a pack had to have a mate to be recognized as leader and he couldn't find a female wolf who wanted to be his mate for a while because of his status as 'half werewolf'.

He is not a pure-blooded werewolf because his mother is an ordinary human, while his father is the alpha and leader of the strongest wolf pack in the Americas who is referred to as "Xavier the legend" because of his ability to lead a large pack. Of course he is not immediately called the strongest without reason, Xavier has the power of Konstantin, the power given by Lucifer the king of hell as a form of service that he has carried out for hundreds of years and now he has passed on this power to his son, Aiden.

"Jake?" Aiden stared at the screen of his phone. He had just sent Jacob his new phone number and Jacob immediately called him this quickly. He knew the only reason why Jacob contacted him was to ask about Azura, who was still with him at the moment.

"Hey Jake?"

"I saw you appear on TV again yesterday, Looks like you still haven't given up, huh?" Jacob quipped at him in a cold tone of voice. Aiden just laughed at the sarcasm that always happened every time he decided to compete again.

"I need money to buy new clothes and underwear for your troublesome girl, so what can I do?"

"You brought Azura to your flat?"

"Yes, it seems like it takes time, energy and thought to make her remember where I have to take her. So for the time being I decided that she should stay at my house."

"Aiden, whatever you are planning, I don't want you to involve Azura. You always do something dangerous and every time that happens there will be something-"

"Injured? I understand what you're worried about. But I won't do anything to her, let alone use her for my purposes. I'll definitely take her home. I'll handle it, you don't need to worry!"

"Okay, I understand. I want you to take her home as soon as possible to her family. I don't want her to know who you really are. So before that happens, find and take her to her family or I will do it!"

"You know, Jake? You really didn't give me a chance, did you? I know you must be thinking, how can a demi-human like me live to be 250 years old because that's never happened before, right? Unfortunately I don't know either, Your Majesty. I also don't know when I will reach my peak strength and whether I can control that immense power the same as my dad did."

"Aiden, I just finished showering! I've also used the soap and shampoo!" Azura's voice came over the phone. Jacob chuckled, he didn't think that Azura was already close with Aiden.

"Wear your clothes! Don't go around wearing just a towel!" Aiden said in an annoyed tone. His response made Jacob want to laugh even more because it seemed like he could take care of Azura well.

"So, you're close with her?"

"Not really, she still often annoys me!"

"But you've kissed her?"

"Are you going to tell your beloved stubborn sister?"

"May be!"

"Please tell her that Aiden, the man she has rejected his love for hundreds of years, now has a beautiful girl living in his house. You can tell her that, after that tell me what her reaction will be!"

"Hahaha...Azura is very beautiful, isn't she?"

"So?"

"Are you sure you won't be tempted by her?"

"I'm not sure, because to be honest we almost did it twice."
