XXVIII

Christmas was my one best holidays. Why? Because the café would be closed and it was my first Christmas with my own family. The thought that I had a family to spend it with made me more excited plus...I was a winter child and today was my birthday.

"Happy birthday!" Takato and Haru shouted when they entered the room. Haru held the the cake which had a few candles on it before they both sang happy birthday to me.

"Make a wish mommy." Takato said before I closed my eyes and made a wish then blew all the candles.

Haru cut the cake and fed it to me before I cut the cake and held it up. I looked between him and Takato then I moved the cake to Haru's mouth. He looked at him but I used airplane and made it crashing into Takato's mouth who ate it and giggled.

"Hey, I'm the papa here."

"But Tokata is my baby and deserves the first love." I said back as Takato nodded before placing a sweet kiss on my cheeks and lips.

"Takato that's papa's property. You only get mommy's cheeks and nothing else."

"How about I get mommy's cheeks, forehead and lips and I'll leave you both alone tomorrow to do adult stuff."

"Takato!" I shouted in surprise and he rubbed the chocolate frosting on my nose and ran away.

"Think about it papa!" He giggled as he ran away before I slapped my forehead and shook my head.

"I think Rin is rubbing off on him. I'm afraid he'll be sassy like her."

"That would only make you love him more."

"Well no kidding about." I said before I rubbed a piece of frosting on his nose and giggled.

"Are you ready?" Haru asked and I came down the stairs quickly because we had to be at Akio's house.

Nori gave birth last week and today was when he was coming home with little Izumi. We would also host my birthday there not that I minded and from what Haru has been telling me, Akio had a pleasant gift for Nori.


We got there in time and sat down. The decorations were exquisite and then Akio was making sure that everyone was in position.

We waited an hour and then we all started clapping when Nori stepped in with his omega father behind him. He held a child in his hand that was cooing before I rushed and carried the baby from him.

I cradled Izumi in my hands and smiled at how tiny he was. He looked a lot like Akio with the dark eyes, pointed nose and bow pink lips. He had Nori's copper red hair, pale skin colour and curious glare. He stared at me as if he was reading me before giving me a toothless smile.

"His really adorable, too bad he looks like Akio." Nori's alpha father said as he carried his grandson from me. My attention turned to Nori who was hitting Akio's arm hard and shouting at him for making his dad pick him up because he wanted him.

"Happy birthday, love." I heard a very familiar voice whisper before I turned and hugged the person.

"Kirito, I thought you weren't coming." I said and he laughed as Shino rested his hand on his shoulders.

"He wouldn't have but I gave him a hit chase around seven countries for him to give in. Though I won't lie travelling is fun." Shino said and they both laughed before I marvelled that my brother was here.

"Shi..." Shino pressed his lips against mine, stunning me before he pulled away and licked his lips, leaving my face red in embarrassment.

"Just as I remembered." Shino said as he licked his lips before I kicked his knees and he cursed.

"I told you to stop doing that, I'm married!"

"But you were my brother first and I'm sure Haru doesn't mind."

"I do mind...Shino. I would like if you kept your grubbing hands off my husband, his mine." Haru said as he wrapped his hands on my waist and kissed me, his eyes looking at Shino.

Haru grabbed my ass and squeezed it in front of Shino before he kissed my neck as I released a breathless moan.

"Showoff. Come on Kirito back me up...Kirito?" Shino said and turned back seeing that Kirito had gone and was flirting with Kaede who surprisingly, was flirting back.

"Well since I'm in a good mood, you got lucky. Also happy birthday Yuki, I got you this." Shino said as he handed me a box which I took. "Open it."

I opened the box and then smiled when I saw a very familiar bracelet. I removed it from the box and smiled at it.

"What is it?" Haru asked before I and Shino laughed.

"My parents bracelet to me. I thought I lost it but it's been around all these years." I said as I brought Haru's hand and tied it around his wrist, glad that it fitted.

"Everyone in my family has one. My name is engraved on it, it's like a tradition. When I reached puberty, my mom gave me this and said when I find the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, I should give this to that person."  I explained as I admired it on Haru's hand before I kissed the bracelet and looked into his eyes.

"It's my sign that I've claimed you body, heart and soul." I whispered before Haru kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"Gather around everyone, it's time!" Rin shouted before Haru took my hand and walked us to where Akio and Nori were.

I saw Akio on his knee, a ring in the box as Nori kept a stoic expression as he nervously bit on his lips.

"Nori Kendo, you silly omega. Known you since high school, you were the most self centered person I've ever met and didn't want to be around anyone even after we met again six years after graduation. But with my cooking skills and your love for gadgets, you showed me that opposite do attract and I've never been more in love with you. Even if you hated me for bringing out the omega gene in you, you still gave me a chance to woo you. Also, your the mother or father whichever you want of my child, our son. That's why apart from marking you, I also want the whole world to see that your mine and I'm proud to have you as mine. So will you accept this ring and seal our love finally?"

Everywhere was silent, waiting for Nori's response. It's not like they weren't mated already but this was like a ritual to make them feel more connected than they already were. This was proof that their love was not just because of the second gender but because they really felt love.

"You asshole!" Nori shouted as he kicked Akio on his ass before he knelt down and hugged him.

"You took your sweet time, I was going to do it if you chose to be a coward! But your my asshole." He said before he took the ring and wore it and then also flickered his finger to Akio's forehead.

"Also take me to dinner and do this privately so that if I chose to dumb your ass, I will." He responded before everyone laughed and clapped hands.

I was surprised during the party that they cut out time to celebrate my birthday. We also did exchange of gifts and finally it was my turn.

"Here. Open it." Haru said and then I opened it excitedly. I picked up what was in the box and smiled when I saw it.

"It's a music box." I opened it and then it started playing the softest melody as a beautiful girl twirled to the rhythm of the song. "it's beautiful."

"Yeah, I just needed that to remind you that every day with you is beautiful to me. Everyday with you is like a holiday, Christmas, your birthday to me and I can't imagine another life without you in it because your the favourite part of me. I love you Yuki and I'll always love you." Haru confessed and that everyone started to clap.

"Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!" Rin chanted and everyone chanted along before I got up and placed a kiss on Haru's lips with the crowd screaming in cheers.

"I love you too." I whispered before Haru kissed me back and this was the perfect first Christmas ever.

We took a picture where everyone stood together and shouted merry Christmas. The next thing, everyone started talking as I went to go and check on the children that were having fun upstairs.


I walked down the hall of the house and hid when I saw Kairi and Takato holding hands as they pointed at the stars, calling random names and laughing.

"Kai-chan..." I watched as Takato blushed as Kairi looked at him expectingly.

"Yes?"

"W-will you uhmm...want to go to the new years festival in town with me?" Takato confessed as he closed his eyes and Kairi looked at him with a stoic expression before he smiled.

I watched as Kairi walked up to Takato and placed a chaste kiss on his lips and pulled away, leaving Takato a blushing mess.

"You don't need to ask me, I'll always go wherever Takato goes because Kairi loves Takato with all of his heart and will love to be his cute wife." Kairi confessed before they both looked into each others eyes and then laughed. They sat side by side, holding hands as they continued their silly game.

I've never been so proud of my son and never knew he could be this cute. I had a feeling that the reason they were like this is because they were a fated bond and may not have realized yet but whatever it may be...I pray their love never dies or go through problems like I and Haru.


"Come to bed baby." Haru said as I brushed my hair so that it wouldn't be too messy before I faced him.

"Tokata asked his crush on a date and their going to go out on new year to the festival. I'm afraid his growing up too fast. It was just seven years ago, he was so tiny but now..." I pouted as Haru laughed before he tapped his right side and I crawled to his side.

He covered me with the blanket as he ran his hand through my hair and chuckled.

"His an alpha and a smart kid. He has to grow up but you should remember that you gave birth to him and he'll always keep running to you no matter what. Also if your scared of him growing up too fast, let's have another one so you can smother the love and attention you still wanted to give him. And if that's one is growing fast, we'll have another and another and another till your satisfied." He said and I laughed as I hit his chest softly.

"I'll have too much scars if I give birth like a rabbit. Also, your impossible." I said before he pecked me all over my face and then ended with my lips.

"But I'm your possibility."

"I love you."

"I love you too. Goodnight."

"Night." Haru said and then switched off the light before we both fell asleep, warm in each others arms.
