Chapter 16.

Liam.
"Well, I'll leave you two alone. We'll talk later Liam," as soon as those words left her mouth, I snapped.
"Wait Gabriella!" I yelled after her but she was already lost in the crowd.
"Get off me!" I pushed Layla off aggressively and went after Gabriella so I could clear the misunderstanding and tell her Layla is not my girlfriend, well at least not anymore.
I spot her leaving the club and I thank God she hasn't gone too far, at least I could explain things to her so she doesn't hate me more than she already does.
"Hey Ella!" I yelled out her name as loud as I could and she looked back at me with raised eyebrows.
"Huh, aren't you supposed to be in there?" She asked and I sighed.
"I really need to talk to you first." I replied back and she smiled a little, making her look even more beautiful.
"About what?" She asks.
"I'm so sorry about what just happened there. I really wasn't expecting Layla to show up like that and much less introduce herself as my girlfriend. I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable in any way," I blurted out and she started giggling uncontrollably.
"I'm sorry? Did I say something funny?" I ask self consciously and she raises her hand as if telling me to relax.
"I'm sorry. I just really love how cute you look trying to explain things to me but you really don't owe me any explanations and besides, we're just friends right? So why should you be bothered about what I think or don't think?" she asked and I breathed out, at least she doesn't seem too mad at me.
"I really care about what you think Gaby because you matter to me a lot and I don't want you to hate me more than you already hate me." I reply honestly, unconsciously taking her hands in mine.
"I don't hate you Liam, I really don't. In fact, it's the complete opposite. You're a sweet person Liam and I have no right to hate you or judge you even if Layla is your girlfriend." She's saying and I quickly cut her off.
"Ex girlfriend!" I pointed out and she nods,
"Yeah whatever, you get my point. I actually called Martin to come take me home, since he's the reason I'm here but he's taking forever." She complains and my night just got better.
"Can I take you home in his place?" I offered hastily and excitedly.
"Thanks for the offer but I don't want to be a bother. I'm sure he'll be here any minute". She politely refuses and I insist persistently till she finally agrees but first calls to inform Martin.
"Alright, he agreed to let me go so let's go." She chirped and I stared at her confusedly.
"Do you always take his permission for everything? I ask and she sighs.
"No I don't, but Martin is like the only real family I've got and he's very protective of me, so I need to make sure he doesn't worry about me going home with a stranger. He'd probably have a heart attack just thinking about it." she replies and I nod in understanding. At least I'm confident that he's gay and doesn't want her sexually so that puts my mind at ease.
"Are we leaving?" she snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, sure. Sorry about that," I apologized before escorting her to where I had my car parked.
Gabriella
The atmosphere had been a little awkward since we both had nothing to say but deep down, I'm happy my night didn't go that bad.
At least he came after me and that gesture alone got me on cloud nine. I receive a text from Martin and I quickly check, hoping he hadn't gotten himself drunk and now he needs me to come get him.
Martin~ You better not use my room, it's off limits. Also, don't forget to leave a spare key underneath the flower pot, I lost mine. Have a great time and don't let me down or else!
Gabriella ~ Are you drunk already? Get home now!
Martin ~ I'm not drunk, just a lil tipsy but guess what? I met a celebrity! SCREAMING!! I'll tell you all about it later but for, now get back to business Missy. You had better shag him!
Gabriella ~ Just be careful idiot.
"Are you okay?" Liam asks suddenly and I turn to him.
"Yeah, I'm good." I reply and we both stay quiet again till I decide to ask him a completely random question.
"Can I ask you something?" I request nervously.
"Yeah sure, anything." He replies.
"How did you meet Layla?" I ask curiously.
"I'm sorry if my question makes you uncomfortable in any way. You can avoid it if you want to." I add quickly and I know it's a weird question to ask, but I am curious and someone had to bring up a topic of discussion.
"It's okay, I'll answer. Layla was one of the models we hired for our last runway show. As you saw, she's really hot and I was instantly attracted to her so we kinda clicked and the rest is history," he gave a brief explanation and I got even more curious.
"Did you love her?" I asked and I could tell he wasn't comfortable, when he tightened his hold on the steering wheel and clenched his teeth.
"Yes, I did," he looked uncomfortable but I wasn't planning on shutting up.
"Then, may I ask why you two broke up?" I keep pushing and thankfully, he doesn't look offended.
"She kinda cheated on me," he blurted out and I took note of the word 'kinda'.
"What do you mean by 'kinda'?" I ask and he stares at me sadly, before turning his attention back to the road.
"She tried to seduce Tyler after they met but he rejected her," he replied and his brief summary was enough for me to understand. That classless bitch! How could she try to hit two brothers?
"So sorry about that," I replied, although I didn't mean it. I am not the least bit sorry that they broke up, in fact, I'm thankful they did.
"It's okay. I already forgot all about it but enough about me, what about you? Are you in a relationship, any exes?" He asks and I chuckle.
"Just in case you didn't notice, I'm a lone wolf and according to Martin, I'm a grandma in her twenties." I respond and he chuckles.
"You definitely look nothing like a grandma to me and honestly, I'm happy you're single," he replied and I blushed.
"How old are you? You already know I'm twenty six so now, I want to know yours." I demand and he chuckles.
"I'm turning thirty in a few days," he replies and I gasp.
"You are becoming an old man," I teased jokingly and he shrugged.
"And you happen to be a grandma, that sounds like a perfect match to me." He comments and I could feel my face turning blood red. Even in the dark, I'm certain you can see my cheeks looking like a tomato that's about to explode.
We stayed silent after that and I fell asleep briefly till I felt someone brush my hair behind my ear and I immediately jolted out of my sweet sleep.
"We're here, sleepy head," Liam tells me and I yawn a little, feeling the urge to be carried in bridal style instead of walking all the way to my floor but I won't push my luck too much.
"Want me to carry you?" he asked suddenly as if reading my mind.
"No thanks, I'm good," I politely declined and he got out of the car to help me out.
"Thanks," I muttered shyly, getting out of his car and we walked through the parking lot together and headed towards my apartment.
"I like the place, it's classy," hee comments as soon as we walk in.
"It's exactly how Martin likes it. His parents actually own the place." I said to him and although he looked surprised and curious, he kept to himself.
"This is my place." I point out and he smiles, although I could see the hint of disappointment on his face.
"So...good night." I muttered tiredly and he nodded.
"Yeah, goodnight I guess," he replies and I could tell he wasn't exactly ready to leave.
He pulls me in for an unexpected hug and immediately, Martin's words replay in my head over and over. 'Don't let me down'.
He pulls away and unexpectedly brushes his lips on mine and that alone gave me the butterflies people always talk about. I never knew electrifying kisses were real until today and I definitely want more than a stupid peck.
He's about to turn in the other direction but I pull him back gently and crash my lips on his and he's quick to respond back by deepening the kiss hungrily. Our tongues danced together for what seemed like hours and I wasn't ready to let go.
His hands slowly traveled around my body and I knew then and there that there was no going back for me. His smell, his touch, his kisses, everything about this man drives me insane and right now, I don't mind being a little crazy.
I push my hands into his soft, beautiful hair as he trails wet kisses down my neck and around my breasts. His hands worked their way under my dress and an electrifying feeling possessed me the minute I felt his palm rub my underwear gently.
He's definitely going to be the death of me.
I'm more than certain that my loud moan may have attracted the neighbors attention but I could honestly care less about what any of them had to say. His lips playing with mine and his hands dancing around my breasts were the only thing I could think of at the moment.
All of a sudden, he pulls away from me and I immediately groan in frustration.
"I think you should get inside before I go too far," he said whilst trying to catch his breath and I could tell he also wasn't too happy about having to cut short our moment.
"Yeah, maybe you're right but I definitely don't want it to end," I whispered whilst breathing rapidly.
"Neither do I, trust me," he whispered a reply and I planted a quick kiss on his place.
"Just in case it's not gonna happen again." I mutter shyly and he smirks.
"Trust me, it will happen again and next time it does, we'll finish what we started." He assured me with a smile that honestly made my underwear wet and sticky.
"Have a good night Gabriella," he says and pecks my lips one last time before walking away in the opposite direction whilst I just keep staring at his beautiful and firm ass.
I'm certain I won't be having a good sleep tonight at all.
