Chapter 21
Aliyah's Pov:
I bolted the door as I ran off with my baby crying.
I turned on the umbrella and rushed into the rain..
The rain was too much so I couldn't even find a cab to take me to the hospital.
I was going to trek.
Baby Arya was still convulsing and crying as well.
Hot tears rolled down my cheeks.
I don't know what I would do if anything bad happens to my daughter Arya.
I won't be able to survive it.
I was bare footed cos I didn't bother to look for my flip flops.
I have never been so scared.
Was baby Arya going to die right in my hands?
Thank goodness.... I got to a nearby clinic.
I rushed in throwing the umbrella on the ground.
"Someone please help my baby... My baby is dying" I raised an alarm as the nurses rushed to me.
Arya was still convulsing and this time around it was worst.
The nurse took her from me and headed into the emergency room.
I wanted to enter too but they stopped me.
I was even going to fight with them to let me see my baby but they still insisted.
I paced around impatiently wailing and sobbing.
Who else do I have in the whole universe if not baby Arya?
Why would she want to leave me?
She's my only hope....
How will I survive without the reason why I still breath?
If she dies then I will just have to get a bottle of snipper for myself.
My eyes were already sore and swollen from crying.
I was so impatient.

"Ma'am? Ma'am??" The nurse tapped my shoulder as I jumped up from the couch.
Actually I fell asleep on the couch after crying.
"Arya? Where is my baby?" I asked acting like a lunatic.
"You have to calm down ma'am you might get sick from worrying so much" The nurse patted my hair.
"Where is she? Where is Arya? Where is my baby?" I continued asking persistently.
"You have absolutely nothing to worry about.... Your adorable pretty baby is already fast asleep" The nurse said calmly.
"Asleep? What happened to her?" I asked.
"It was high fever and that also caused her convulsion too but we were able to calm her fever and as we speak her body temperature is stabled now so you have absolutely nothing to worry about" The nurse assured me as I breathed heavily in relief.
"Thank you so much nurse... Can I see my baby?" I asked as she nodded
"Of course you can" She replied as I followed her into the emergency room.
Baby Arya was lying peacefully with her cot.
You won't even believe that something that almost cost her life happened a while ago.
I walked closer and kissed her forehead.
"I got so scared baby" I mumbled inaudibly.
"My bill nurse?" I turned to nurse.
"You will pay to cashier" She said as I nodded.
The most scary day ever!
Arthur's Pov;
I walked into Natasha's ward and saw her lying on the bed.
She was already conscious but very weak.
She saw me and turned her face away.
"Don't tell me I didn't die" She grumbled.
I kept mute as I bowed my head in guilt.
"No! No!! I need to die.... Someone take off this syringes from my hand... I just need a bottle of snipper" She wailed as I held her.
"Why would you say that? Do you want to commit suicide and commit murder too?" I managed to speak.
"What do you care Arthur? It's none of your business" She cried out.
"It is my business..I wouldn't want you or the baby to get hurt" I spoke softly.
"Stop pretending like you care cos it doesn't suit you.... Don't worry I was going to die with my baby so that you won't have anyone to worry about" She sobbed.
"The doctor said you need a lot of rest so please don't stress yourself and please don't try this again" I said as I hugged her tightly.
I just hope she doesn't try to harm my child again.

Natasha was discharged the next day so we went to shopping together.
Like the doctor advised I need to take good care of her now at least for the child in her womb at least.
I parked my car and we walked into the mall.
We were shopping different ways.
"Arthur?" I heard my name from behind and turned around.
My eyes widened in shock... It was Mrs Roselyn Dela Cruz.
Aliyah's mother....
"Aunt Roselyn?" I managed to say.
"Baby I shopped some diapers for the baby" Natasha walked to me.
Aliyah's mother gasped in confusion.....
