Chapter 25

Aliyah's Pov:

My heart was skipping as she panted in front of me calling Leo's name.

"You are scaring me.... What are you saying Dora?" I cried out.

She pointed out of the door.

"Is Leo out there? What happened?" I couldn't even breath.

"I don't know how to say this but you...you have to follow me" She said as she rushed out.

I pushed the table aside and rushed out with her.

She quickly hopped into the available cab and I did too as the cab drove off.

I didn't even realize when tears started running down my face.

Why is life bring cruel?

Why does life take away every good thing that comes my way?

First it was Arthur....

But he left me...

Now it's Leo!

Leo is one of the good things that have happened to me recently now what?

I couldn't stop sobbing.

"Will you stop crying already Aliyah,? Let's get there first" Dora said.

"I don't think you understand.... What could have possibly happened to him?" I cried.

"Let's go first" Dora sniffed.

I was becoming so impatient!

But after the long ride,,, the taxi stopped right in front of a magnificent bungalow.

"What are we doing here? Is this the hospital?" I wiped my tears.

"Just follow me" Dora rushed out of the cab after paying the driver.

I sluggishly followed her as we walked into the bungalow.

Even though the house was so breath taking.

I couldn't help but worry about Mr Leo.

We got into the big compound and to my greatest surprise,,,, Mr Leo was there smiling broadly at us.

I looked at him confused.

I turned my gaze to Dora and found out she was also smiling.

"What going on here?" I asked as I wiped my tears off.

"What do you think is going on?" Dora laughed.

"I thought you said Leo is in trouble?" I asked with arched eyebrows.

"Well am safe and sound" Mr Leo smiled.

"So why did you drag me out Dora? You almost gave me a heart attack" I freaked out.

"Well my dear Aliyah I told her to being you here" Mr Leo said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"But why?" I snapped.

"I just want to show you,,,, your new home from now on" Mr Leo pointed at the white painted bungalow.

I blinked my eyes rapidly.

Is this a dream???

"Leo? Are you pulling another stunt?" I asked as I gulped hard.

"Stunt? Nope... This is the surprise I have for you so from now on your daughter and yourself will be leaving here cos I bought it specially for you both" He said as I jumped for joy.

I didn't even know when I hugged him tightly and then hugged Dora as we jumped for joy.

What a pleasant surprise!

I can't believe I now own a big house.

Arthur's Pov:

We were still waiting outside the emergency room when suddenly the door swing open.

The doctor walked out with a stethoscope on his neck.

We rushed to the doctor.

"Doctor? Doctor?? How is she?" I asked anxiously.

The doctor smiled at me a little.

"Uhmm.... Congratulations sir you are now a father" He said as smiles escaped my lips.

I didn't even realize that I was laughing.

My parents jumped for joy so did her mother.

"Your wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy" The doctor announced as we shook hands and I hugged him.

I was so excited.

We were allowed to get in so we rushed straight into the ward.

The little baby boy was crying with his tiny sharp voice.

Am so excited!.

Am a father at last.....

Natasha's Pov:

"Oh my gosh girlfriend... Am so happy for you" Brenda shrieked in excitement.

"Am more excited my dear Brenda" I smiled broadly still lying on the bed.

"I couldn't believe that you are a mother already....This simply means that he is strongly yours now" She chuckled.

"Yes of course.... He is mine and I wouldn't let anyone take him away" I smiled.

"That's my girl" She winked at me.

"You need to see how excited he was.... Am glad he is happy" I laughed.

"You know what? You should get enough rest now" Brenda said as I smiled.

"I've been doing that so I need to gist" we shared a laugh.

Finally no one can take him away....

He's so mine!

Aliyah's Pov:

The next day,,, baby Arya and I packed into the house.

It is heaven on Earth for sure....

I couldn't thank Leo enough.

He is such an angel in human form for my baby Arya and I.

I wonder what we could have done without him in our lives.

My baby girl can now sit and sing her song which only her can hear...

Baby talk!

I sat her on the ground as I dressed her up.

"Oh no baby's comb... I need to comb her hair" I said as I walked to her room to get her comb.

I got into the room and sighted the comb on her drawer.

I took the comb and walked out of the room.

I looked around to my greatest surprise,,, baby Arya was no longer there.

I freaked out....
