Chapter 6

Aliyah's Pov:

I bit my fingers as hot tears poured down my face.

"Calm down Aliyah.... Worrying won't help you at all" Pearl said as I scratched my head.

"Then what will? I feel so useless... My dad is definitely going to kill me" I cried.

"Calm down girl.... All we have to do is to inform him about this" Pearl said.

"Inform him? How do I find him Pearl? I don't know where we will ever see him" I burst into tears.

"There must be a way out of this so you don't need to worry" Pearl assured me.

"I don't think there is any way out.... Am finished Pearl" I wailed.

"Crying is not good for your child Aliyah please" Pearl said as I flared up.

"What child? I really wish this stupid child will just leave me alone" I cried.

"Stop that! Don't try to say that.... The poor child has nothing to do with what happened" Pearl advised.

"So how do I get to Arthur Rodriguez? How do I locate that guy?" I cried.

"Social media.... ?? How about we find him through social media?" Pearl said sharply.

"I think you are right.... Just search him in the internet" I said as I sat beside Pearl.

Pearl placed the laptop on her bed as she typed his name and search.

I continued sulking bitterly.

Ever since I left the hospital in the morning,,, I have not gotten to the house.

Am sure my dad will be waiting eagerly for me at home.

Oh God!

Please help me find him....

I really need to find Arthur so that I can tell him about this baby....

"Oh my gosh Aliyah... Is this him?" Pearl asked as I quickly rushed to look at the laptop screen.

Tears filled my eyes but as soon as I saw his picture,,, my face brightened.

"Yes... That's him" I snapped as I wiped off my tears.

"So what now? What are you going to do next?" Pearl asked.

"Get his number... I really need to inform about this or should I just abort this child?" I said as Pearl frowned at me.

" Don't say such things Aliyah" She said.

She copied the number and we called his number immediately.

I paced around the room impatiently for him to pick up.

Natasha's Pov:

Arthur and I sat inside the coffee shop with cups of coffee in front of us.

"Natasha I told you earlier that I don't feel like coming here" He groaned.

"Oh please Arthur.... Why don't you want to come here in the first place? Because you want to go ahead and stalk that girl" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Natasha? You might have seen her pictures but the truth is she is not the reason why I don't want to come here" Arthur replied.

"Then what? We are a couple and we should go out at times together" I said.

" I have a basketball practice by 4pm and this is 3:45pm" he said as I rolled my eyes.

"You will surely go for the practice but that's after spending sometime with me" I insisted.

"Alright.... I'll go to the restroom" He said as he got up and headed to the restroom.

I sipped my hot coffee when his cellphone rang aloud.

I quickly took the phone.

The number wasn't saved with any name.

"This must be his basketball team.... I won't let him leave me" I thought as I quickly rejected the call and turned the phone off.

No one is allowed to ruin in our beautiful moment.

I dropped the phone before he came out of the restroom.

I pretended like nothing happened.

Aliyah's Pov:

I burst into tears again as I called the number again and this time it was switched off.

"Oh Pearl... Am so finished" I wailed as I fell on the bare ground.

"Don't say that Aliyah.... Who knows? He might be really busy" She said.

"What do I do? I can't go back to the house without him with me so that my dad won't murder me" I cried.

"We won't loose hope Aliyah.... Stop stressing the baby by crying" Pearl replied.

"What useless baby? I don't care if crying and stressing myself will kill the child.... I just wish the stupid foetus flushes out" I gritted my teeth.

"That wouldn't help you find Arthur will it?" She cut in sharply.

"I don't fvcking care.... I just wish I died" I cried out.

I quickly stood up and walked straight to the door.

"Where are you going to Aliyah,?" Pearl asked anxiously.

"Anywhere Pearl and please don't try to stop me" I snapped as I grabbed the door handle and threw the door open.

I walked out of the room slamming the door with my phone.

I walked along the streets like a lunatic cos I was lost in thought.

Worst still,,,, the weather was changing and it looked like it was going to rain but that's the least I care about.

It was getting really dark and the thunder kept clapping.

My hair was packed in a messy bun and I looked so crazy.

Slowly the rain started.

I trekked as the rain fell on me.... I was dripping wet.

Then I sighted a pharmacy and I felt a light of hope as I walked straight to the pharmacy.

"Good evening sir" I greeted the pharmacist.

"Yes Miss.... How may I help you?" He asked.

"I want you to give me abortion pills" I said with boldness.

"What?" He stared at me.

"You heard me" I repeated again as he nodded and walked away still marvelled by my boldness.

He handed the pills to me and I gave him some money.

I was still wet.

I walked out of the pharmacy with the abortion pills.

I was so determined to abort the child.

I got to a corner and sat on the ground.... The place was deserted such that no one was passing by.

Maybe because of the rain but that's none of my business.

I brought out the can and poured the pills into my hand.

With tears running down my cheeks,,,, I was about to take the pills.

I opened my mouth to put the pills but my phone interrupted........
