Don't want Livy to Leave?
“LIVY!”
Livy didn't really have the heart to leave the house, let alone Arthur, especially since she was pregnant and wanted to be near Arthur.
That was the sound of Arthur running over to Livy. His hand grabbed Livy's right wrist until Livy's body even turned and ended up in Arthur's arms.
“Don't go... don't leave me,” Arthur begged. Livy's eyes filled with tears as she discovered Arthur's gentle nature. Very different from his usual negative thinking and anger.
“I'm sorry Arthur, but this time I really have to go. My father and mother asked me to leave this house immediately and stay away from you,” Arthur frowned confused by Livy's statement that she would leave suddenly like this. Surely Arthur needed a good reason so that he wouldn't be too hurt when Livy left later.
“Why do you have to stay away from me? Don't you love me?” Arthur asked.
“It's not that I don't love you, Arthur. I even love you very much, but I can't refuse the requests of my father and mother. As a son I must obey them,”
“But here I am your husband I am in control of you from the moment we get married not them!” Arthur began to object but did not raise his voice He just gave a commanding but firm sentence. Livy was very understanding of the situation and Arthur's feelings right now but he couldn't refuse his father's wishes.
“But I really have to go now Arthur,” Livy's eyes became teary and even the water that was already in her eyes fell one by one down her cheeks.
“If you leave, will you come back to me when your mom and dad don't seem to like me. Especially when they found out when I married you and didn't invite them,” Arthur said as his eyes also became teary.
“I don't know if it will come back or not,” said Livy, who began to slowly release her hug with meaning. Lowering her head as more and more tears flowed down her cheeks.
“If you yourself don't know when you'll be back then there's no need to go, darling,” prevented Arthur again. Arthur's gentle nature was what Livy had wanted all these years. Even though they had only been married for a few weeks. It was also this trait that Livy wanted when they were in college so that their relationship would never break up and there would never be a grudge between Arthur and Livy.
'Why is your good nature only showing up lately Arthur? I really wanted this trait of yours from back when we were still dating in college. A nature that doesn't show possessiveness, a nature that is mature, a nature that doesn't prioritize anger, that's what I've wanted for a long time. If you had been like this back then, I would never have broken up with you, Arthur. Surely there would be no grudge between us and surely we would get married and become a quiet and peaceful family of the wolf nation.” Livy said silently.
“But it's too late Arthur I have to go now. I'm sorry.”
“What do you want exactly? Do I have to kneel down and apologize to you for my past mistakes when I was still being mean to you? Well, I'll do it as long as you don't leave my side Livy,” suddenly Arthur knelt in front of Livy and then took Livy's right hand. His head tilted upwards more precisely towards that beautiful face. Livy shook her head softly, touched Arthur's shoulders and guided him back to his feet. Arthur also followed what Livy wanted.
“It can't be like this, Arthur. You can't be sad. You have to let me go this time.”
Arthur shook his head even more noisily not wanting Livi to leave his life.
“Please, Livy. Just this once don't ever let me out of your life, I won't be able to get through the day without you,” Arthur was still begging Livy, while Livy had begun to gradually unlink her hand with Arthur's hand.
“I'm sorry Arthur I have to go soon because my parents are waiting there, please understand.” the hand link between Livy and Arthur was released. Livy slowly walked backwards until she was completely out of Arthur's reach while Arthur was already kneeling and lying on the asphalt road in front of their house.
“No, Livy... NO!!!” Arthur shouted as Livy ignored him.
“LIVY, what's wrong with you, huh?”
Livy suddenly woke up from her reverie. It turns out that everything was just Livy's imagination, not reality. Starting from Arthur's gentle nature, to Arthur not wanting Livy to leave turned out to be a mirage lodged in Livy's brain, nothing more.
“Instead of deciding right away, you've been daydreaming.” Her father was annoyed that Livy didn't immediately pick up her suitcase and go abroad with them.
“Come on, let's go!” Mr. Emil started to stand up but his hand was immediately held back by Livy.
“NO! I'll stay for Arthur's sake.” Livy's mind was made up and nothing could break her.
“Livy, are you crazy?” Her mother was getting worried and warned Livy not to make any decisions.
“No, Dad, Mom. It's all for the sake of my future baby. I'm sure that Arthur will also accept this baby and our marriage will be happy in the future,” Livy explained once again so that her parents would not push their will too much. Meanwhile, it was her and Arthur who were in this marriage.
“Well, maybe if you don't want to go now. But... don't you remember that your marriage is just a contract? When the time of your contract marriage expires, you can meet Mom and Dad again to go abroad. Give birth and raise your baby there in peace and safety,” Mr. Emil explained.
“I'm more confident about my marriage, Father. Well, if Arthur turns evil again someday, I'll see you guys. I love you too, I know that you're doing this because it's the best life for me and my baby.” Livy had tears in her eyes and hugged her parents.
