The Power of the Eagle Demon

Arthur gained the power of the eagle demon after making the eagle submit to him. Arthur went home as usual to his house like a normal husband coming home from work.

“Hahahaha, with this power I will be free to torment Livy and slowly the child Livy is carrying will die!” Arthur said with a satisfied smile because he got the power.

“But before that I'll be nice to Livy first. If Livy starts to show she is suspicious or dares to fight me, then I will start torturing her like last time.” Arthur monologued before opening his car door and starting to enter his mansion. Arthur entered the house and took a little peek at Livy who was watching television.

“I can't get angry right away if there's no problem. If it was like yesterday when Livy accused me of having an affair, maybe I would be able to attack her. Yesterday I didn't have the power of the eagle demon yet. So I couldn't get my revenge. If Livy doesn't seem to be acting up now, then I can't just attack her. I'll divorce Livy too when I attack her. I've had enough of her good behavior. But I have to be patient a little longer.” Arthur's monologue.

“Are you sure you can get the power of the Eagle Demon? How can you do that? It's already noon, Arthur. How could the Eagle Demon want to see you in the middle of the day?” Gracia asked. The two of them returned to Mount Helvellyn and started almost to the top of the mountain as usual.

“I know how to summon him.” Arthur took out a huge shell to summon the eagle demon. The shell was like a trumpet that once blown, not only people but all animals that felt summoned would meet Arthur and Gracia in the middle of the mountain.

Gracia was a little scared because it was possible that other beasts would feel summoned as well. Even though she and Arthur were also among the wild animals, the fear was still there. Gracia looked around and fortunately only the Eagle Demon was summoned, none of the other wild animals came close at all. Only the Eagle Demon approached them and suddenly changed.

“Arthur! All the animals will come here if you know!” Gracia warned Arthur by tapping him on the shoulder.

“I won't, I'm just focusing on summoning the Eagle.” The eagle quickly transformed into a human. It turned into a beautiful girl.

“What are you calling me? You're definitely not an ordinary human, judging by the way you called me earlier.” The Eagle Demon said. Suddenly Arthur put his hands together as if he was begging. Gracia had glanced at Arthur's movements and followed what Arthur was doing. Arthur then bowed his head and knelt before the Eagle Demon.

“I'm sorry I called you out of necessity while you were guarding a hermit there. But this time I really need your help,”

“What do you want from me? I'm not a moon god with great power,” the Eagle Demon replied, folding his arms across his chest.

“Although not as big as a moon god, I am very confident that you can help me,” Arthur said. The Eagle Demon raised one eyebrow.

“Tell me quickly! Don't beat around the bush because I don't have much time!” The Eagle Demon snapped.

“Give me your power to increase my strength,” the Eagle Demon burst out laughing at Arthur's words.

“Hahahahahaha, you're asking me for a favor and asking for my power like that? This is so funny, a werewolf asking an eagle for power?”

“I'm serious, please don't make me doubt,” Arthur said.

“Do you think I'm a god who can just give away my powers like that? Hahahaha, this is so funny. I'm only here to protect the hermits,” said the Eagle Demon again.

“Yesterday I saw you fighting with another eagle and you won. I think your strength is greater than anyone else's.”

“Yes, please, help us,” said Gracia.

“Huh... well, I'll help you guys. But only on one condition,”

“What's that?”

“You have to keep the power I give you until my job here is done, understand?”

“Understood!” Arthur and Gracia said in unison.

The three of them sat cross-legged while transferring the power from the moon god to each other.
