"Tell me dear, on what earth why my son marries you instead of Kate?" smiling its question.
She was stunned. Even though the beautiful Lady was smiling in front of her, she couldn't help but tone it differently.
"Ma'am, may I ask you a query?"
A few seconds passed before it nodded. They were both standing and carrying a wine glass. It's time to say 'you're nothing but a second churva this', she's ready.
"Do you firmly agree that cheating is a choice?"
"Unless there's a reason why the person cheated on the relationship."
"What if your husband cheated on you. What's the first thing you will do?"
"What kind of queries are you trying to ask?"
"You can ask Zyd Caiden about it, Ma'am. I don't want to go further but at least; I'm giving you some hints." she smiled when she said that.
She nodded and slowly sipped the wine she was drinking. She seemed to be balancing what she said and then smiled.
"I like the way you answer. It reminds me of myself back when I was at your age. I was ... a bold and straightforward person."
Lianne took a deep breath at what the lady said. It was as if a thorn had pulled her out. She really thought she would pour on her so that she could prepare herself to walk out and Zyd would chase her. What a waste!
"I must say, you're charming and beautiful at your young age. I wonder how your husband got hooked on your beauty, Ma'am."
She laughed and happily slapped her on the shoulder. "Ah, the good old days!" It's a thrilling utterance.
Success made her smile. Beauty points, check! They happily talked about her teenage life until they got engaged and flirted.
"Your flirtation before, Ma'am!" she said giggling.
"What?"
"You're funny, like me." she just laughed at what was said. Who would have thought that the boy's mother would be close like this?
Zyd was shocked to see her mother and Elhouette talking happily on the balcony as if they had known each other for a long time. She looked for the woman thinking that she might be out of place after her father talked to him. He must say, her mother is strict and very picky so she doesn't like Kate but she respects their relationship. He clenched his fist and threw out of the system the woman who no longer deserved his attention. But to see Elhouette with her Mother, it was as if some kind of fondness had crept into his heart so she stared at it without realizing it.
"She's heavenly stunning, right?"
"Right," he replied quickly.
"Irresistible gorgeous?"
"Without doubt."
"You love her?"
"Huh?" he was suddenly taken aback by that question and there he noticed Zig beside him laughing. He looked at him wickedly and stepped away.
"Pardon me for using your name and background, big bro. I was having fun before with her when things went south. So I have no choice but to stop everything and left her like I always did." its complacent promise as it followed him.
"Stop following me, Zig," he calmly replied. He went to the mini bar to get a drink.
"But tell me how the hell she managed to find you here? It's Pennsylvania, like woah! That really surprised me."
"Shut up."
Laughing, he swallowed the goblet of wine instead of drinking it. Sometimes, they don't get along with the younger sibling. He's happy and lucky, doesn't care about the surroundings and he doesn't have time to criticize its mistakes. Last time he did that shit, they just wrestled and ended up in pain.
"But she's one of a kind. One of the reasons why I left. I can't continue playing with her. Goodluck on that, Zyd. I know how you love Kate. So yeah, take care my bro."
He rested broadly when Zig left. He balances what he said and he can say with the nonsense he did, this is now and he took part. But on the other hand, he is grateful. So far, he doesn't know why. Maybe because Elhouette has no problem using her for his own good. He sipped a cup of whiskey and went back to the living room where everyone was enjoying themselves.
Lianne still couldn't believe the speed with which she reconciled with Mrs. McCluskey. She still knows a lot, it's just that she's very smart.
"What do you think of my Mom?" Zyd later asked when they were on their way home while riding in his car on the way home.
"Good, too much!" She thumbs up at the man and smiles super sweetly.
He laughed at her reaction and nodded. "Same with her son, Captain Zyd Caiden McCluskey?"
She frowned and looked at the man artfully. "No."
He pretended to be ouch of what she said and he couldn't help but laugh at its nonsense as well.
"Guess my Mom likes you."
"What do you guess, she really likes me. I'm so prettylicious and so beautiful." She artistically flipped her hair and looked like a princess. Gosh, that's just a small thing to him.
"Yeah, yeah I agree on that." He glanced at her and gave a beautiful smile.
She was immediately stunned and dumbfounded. Does Zyd see her beauty? She seemed to want to thrill about a bucket especially with its beautiful smile. "You agree that I'm beautiful?"
"Yeah- I mean no."
She suddenly frowned at his answer. That would have been it, it would have been okay, she would have been thrilled to collapse. She was folded to one side and secretly stared at the man. 'Don't' don't talk to him, they're not close. Only talk to him if he is sure she is beautiful.
