46 - Backed Away

As before, there was no sensible conversation between the two of them and Zyd. The only thing she always talked to, Zig and only pure frustration knew. Zig will tell stories about animals, insects, snakes and the like of Kate. Sometimes Zig is really crazy too.

Mrs. McCluskey also requested that she will continue recovering at her house so when she had her free time, she can go to McCluskey’s house and make her happy. She was talking about various things and what she was telling the Lady was almost a blast. She just laughs at her madness and stupidity.

That day, she had just finished her meeting with the co-models so she hurried to leave and buy fruit. She was excited to visit McCluskey's house because she had a lot to tell. He just ignored Zig's disgusting joke and went straight to the kitchen. She peeled an orange and placed it on the small plate. She also sliced avocado and mango. Since she was used to McCluskey's house, it was okay for her to interfere in the kitchen. She quickly cooked the food and when it was okay, she prepared it on the tray with the glass of water.

Mrs. McCluskey’s personal nurse went to the kitchen exactly. The Personal nurse was happy to see her. She also told the story that Mrs. McCluskey did not want to eat and had no appetite so she had not taken any medicine. Perfect! The Canadian nurse handed her some medicine and she took it then returned it to the Lady's room. She'll just have a drink.

She was momentarily taken aback when someone called on her cell phone. She answered that but the line was too choppy so she was forced to leave the kitchen. She said hello until the call was lost. It called again and it was still, choppy. Its speech was interrupted and the call died down.

She turned off the phone and went back to the kitchen, she carried the tray full of food and went to Mrs. McClusky's room. Mrs. McCluskey will surely surprise seeing her. But she was the one who was surprised, Zyd was there talking to his Mommy. While in the corner the nurse is sitting, and cheking on the record held and, on the medications, lined up. When he saw her, he stood up and left the room to provide privacy.

"Mom, I'm here!" she announced.

She quickly approached them and the Lady got up. They even got together and asked about his 3 days out of town. She answered all her questions with a smile and even though she no longer had hair, she still looked beautiful.

It's just funny, because she's purely chattering and laughing at the madness done during the shoot. While Mrs. McCluskey had ate all the food she brought. Beside her, Zyd remained listening to what they were talking about but the aura was serious.

After she fed her the fruit, she prepared the medicine to be taken next. The Doctor said that she knew the name Doctor Hudson Hayes, who was a friend of Zyd. They were both stunned.

"That you are her contract wife, Lianne?" she smiled.

She looked down and bit her lip very hard.

“It’s okay dear. I knew it pretty well since I saw you. But ... I like you so much for my son! I like you more than, Kate.”

“Shut up, Zyd! How many times do I told you, do not interfere when someone is talking? “Zyd closed his mouth and looked down. Its whole face blushed and became uneasy in the chair. She just smiled at what Mrs. McCluskey and never spoke again. She gets ready and she took the medicine and the water, it’s time to take the medicine.

"Lianne ..."

She smiled and stroked her hair. “I like you. Please, don’t change.” She nodded in response to what she said and turned to face Zyd. "Zyd ... Why won't you tell her right now, right here, how much you love her?" its hostile question to Zyd.

Zyd blushed and looked up at her. It could hardly look at her as she did not care. Love? If he had said that before when they were in Paris, she might have died of shivering and returned to Pittsburgh as if on drugs. They’re not kids anymore, they’re not in high-school purely chasing and toy feelings. That's damn love!

“Mom, Elhouette and I will talk about it privately. You ruined my chance,” he whispered to Mrs. McCluskey but she heard it loudly.

The Lady laughed and ruffled the man's hair, "Choose someone that choses you."

She was stunned for a moment by what the Lady said and bit her lip but also secretly rolled her eyes. Ruined his chance? It's been a long time. A month ago. This is the ruin, remember! She wanted to make Zyd look like this but when she did that, she turned out to be affected.

"Okay enough for me!" its laughable promise. "Time for my candies." She faced the medicine in her hand.

She handed it here and then the water. Those are three drugs that come in different colors and shapes. She waited for Mrs. McCluskey to swallow took the medicine and then lay down again on the soft bed. When she saw that it was okay, she stood up to take the tray to the kitchen.

“Fuck! Mom!”

"Wha—" She was surprised to see Mrs.'s mouth foaming. Mc-Cluskey and difficulty breathing. God! What's happening?! “Mrs. McCluskey!” She quickly grabbed her hand and ‘didn’t know what to do. She was suddenly confused and bewildered. Did something go wrong with the medicine she fed and drank?

“Fuck it! Nurse! Nurse come here, fuck it!”

She suddenly backed away as the Lady gasped for breath and white liquids came out of her mouth. Her eyes began to water and her body trembled. What's happening?!
