44 - Knew Everything

Zyd clenched his fist when he saw Lianne riding in Gustavvson's car. He grinned. The true color of the woman has come out. He’s looked was so dark that he drove the car back home.

She immediately went to the woman's room and took back the contract left by Lianne and the letter. He quickly crushed it and threw it in a nearby trash bin. Fuck! Its courage to leave his power after he did?

His fist began to clench and he forced himself to calm down. It took him some courage to tell him in the letter that she didn’t want to be with him and that Henrik Gustavvson was the man she wanted to be. That he was simply used in exchange for the woman’s money and citizenship. That she’s no longer chasing money because Gustavvson can give more, he was more handsome than him and he was fed up with him so she was leaving his life. That he shouldn't mess it up with her because no matter what happens she doesn’t feel something for him.

Fuck! It's been three weeks since he read that but only now, he’s been too affected. He knew that Gustavvson family was wealthy, but a Zyd Caiden McCluskey was undeniably richer. It’s just not obvious because he doesn’t want to get people’s attention.

He smiled bitterly. He also doesn’t blame the woman. He has had a serious problem since his mother became ill. He just wasn’t prepared to leave it without saying goodbye to her and just in the letter said everything. His mind was too focused on his Mother.

"What?" he asked Zig annoyed when he called on the phone.

"Mom wants to see you with Elhouette."

He tightened his grip on the cellphone. "I'll be there." He turned off the call and a dark look came out of the house. Several times his Mommy looked for the woman but she just said she was busy with work.

When he saw his still beautiful mother lying in the Hospital bed and almost unable to stand, he immediately smiled and kissed her on the forehead.

“Mom”

"W-where is she?"

He kept ‘his mother from noticing the anger he felt. He smiled affectionately and held out his pale hand. "She's ... Kind of busy today."

He saw the frustration on her face and nodded softly. Damn! He didn't want to see the woman he first loved hurt. He gently stroked her hair. "But she said, she'll pay a visit tomorrow, Mom."

Immediately its face lit up. “Really? Oh, how I miss your w-wife ... She is f-funny and w-witty ...”

"Shh ... I know ... I know, mom." He smiled and kissed her hand. It’s hard to speak so it’s okay if she just relaxes. "She'll be here, I promise."

He smiled and nodded softly. "K-kate was here earlier ..."

He nodded. Ever since her mother signed up in the hospital bed, Kate has always visited her every day. At first, he didn't agree but eventually it was okay with him even though he didn't want to see her.

He was secretly out of breath; how could he bring Lianne here to the Hospital tomorrow? He couldn’t afford to disappoint their Mommy. It would hurt if he also said that they were gone and that he had gone with another man. Gold digger.

He exited the room and saw Zig leaning against the wall. Zig was looking at him seriously now. “What’s your plan?”

He did not answer. He just mumbled and started walking down the hallway while wondering how to carry Elhouette even for an hour. She decided to visit it in her new apartment. He knows where Lianne lives.

The day he found out she was gone, the first thing that entered his mind was to find and follow his wife. He knew he was missing, had a problem, sent emotions so he forgot her birthday. He knew it was sulking but all at once it was a problem. He could handle the problem, but with his dear mother? No. He had a hard time at first but that would also be the reason why Elhouette let go of their one -year contract.

He waited patiently outside her apartment while looking at his wristwatch. A car stopped in front and the woman he had been waiting for came out. Next came down Gustavvson who was ecstatic as the extent of Elhouette's smile. Gustavvson immediately said goodbye and Elhouette waited for the car to leave and then decided to go inside with the tulips.

Tulips, huh?

He quietly followed her and she don’t even notice because she was smiling while smelling the flower and taking a selfie. He mumbled and adjusted the cap until she entered the elevator and followed. They stopped on the 17th floor and walked ahead ‘unnoticed’ or pretending not to notice him. Either way, he doesn't care as long as he can just let it go tomorrow.

"Stop right there." She turned to him and looked up the eyebrow. "What's your trip?"

He was right, pretending she hadn't seen it before. He immediately became serious and mumbled. "My Mom wants to see you," he said bluntly.

She was surprised but immediately became serious, "So?"

"You will come with me tomorrow."

She laughed out loud at what he said. There weren’t too many people in the hallway so the two of them talked freely. "You think I'm coming?"

"Yes," he replied seriously.

"No," she suddenly became serious and looked at him deadly, "So if you can, go away." She turned its back on him and artistically walked away from him.

Lianne thought he had left so when she opened her room, Zyd entered next. Elhouette shouted angrily and pushed him out but he was not shaken. He remained standing in the doorway and would not leave until she could take it with him tomorrow.

"Go away you idiot or I'll call the police!"

“Then do that. You’re my wife in their eyes. They might just be laughed at it.”

She was stunned but immediately smiled. “Well, not now. I want a divorce. Also, I don’t care about the contract because you also used me for a few months so we’re just fair, Zyd. It will be used,” she said loudly.

He did not answer. Elhouette has a point and she doesn’t want to correct its beliefs. What for? In the letter she left she had already said everything. He didn't need to be told to him again.

"Now leave." She pointed to the door.

"How much?" full of insults it came out of his mouth, “How much time do you have to visit the Hospital? How much, to pay you?” A loud slap landed on his cheek. He expected the slap it would give.

“Get out of here. Alis!” She opened the door and pushed him out. “I don’t want that money of yours, Zyd Caiden McCluskey. Remember that, even if I slap you—”

“That’s why you chose that Gustavvson?”

She slaps him and angrily pushes him out. “If I choose him, you don’t care! We're done using each other. We’re done.”

He laughed and folded his arms. "If you don't show up yourself tomorrow, then you'll pay twice the agreement we had in the contract." He immediately turned around and left his room.

He heard the door slam shut but Zyd ignored it. He just continued on the elevator and got off.

But no Elhouette visited the Hospital. She was not in her apartment and when he called Fritz when he was in the Hospital, he was even surprised but told him that his good wife left with the co-models and went somewhere else for photo shooting. She almost threw the cellphone in a rage.

"Y-you should pick her up ..."

He calmed himself and smiled as he faced his Mother. “How about—”

"She's not coming," he nodded, "I understand."

"I'm sorry Mom." He held out his hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry ... I'm really sorry."

It smiled bitterly. He noticed that the hair on her head was a little too small but it was still very beautiful in his eyes. “It’s okay s-son ... Where’s Zig and Sela?”

His two brothers quickly approached and it was they who talked while he went straight out of the door. He keeps ‘don’t get carried away with emotion. He also tried to call Elhouette on the number Fritz gave him, her phone was just turned off. Okay, fuck it!

He quickly called Kodi and prepared his marriage contract with Elhouette. He was surprised but obeyed his command. Even if they are friends, it is ignorant. He is very secretive about things so maybe other people have a hard time how to talk to him.

Then her cell phone rang and she saw Kate calling. No wonder he answered it. "What?" he was sick of it.

"Easy babe." laughing its answer on the other line.

"What do you want?" he looked at the wristwatch he was wearing, he started to get bored.

“Your wife—”

"What is it?" he cut.

"I heard from Fritz, you were looking for her."

"Then?"

“She’s with Henrik. Fritz was lying to you. My poor babe, don’t worry I’ll be there in a minute—”

He turned off the call and quickly headed the car to the parking lot. He calmed himself first and then drove the car away from the Hospital. He immediately stopped the vehicle on the side of the road and called Hudson. He will just talk to his friend Doctor and Mechatronic Engineer. If he hadn’t become addicted to Hockey early on, he might have become Captain of a ship.

"Hey, Zyd."

“Yow man, can you help me trace a woman’s location?” he opened here.

He laughed on the other line and a few seconds before answering. "Her name is Lianne Elhouette Vergara McCluskey."

“Fuck! How are you-"

“I knew everything,” he simply replied on the other line and laughed, “I’ll send her location right away. Plus I’m giving you an app for free. You could locate her anywhere.”

Zyd gasped and the head rests on the head rest. "Okay, thank you." He turned off the call and gasped several times. He returned to the Hospital. He needs to talk to Zig and he will ask for something here.
