Chapter 19

**Elise**

The moment Isaac and Ashton had decided to cut all ties to one another I wasn’t exactly sure how to feel. Waves of confusion as well as worry and excitement began to race though me. My mind and heart trying to filter through everything as I just stood there.

*‘Relax, he’s doing it for us’* replies Elza with a purr for it was true, for as long as he stayed connected to Isaac then he would never be fully ours.

*‘I know, I just wasn’t prepared for it, that's all’* was all I could get out before the sound of Ashton screaming in pain jolts me from my thoughts, my eyes now focused on him, worry now filling my eyes as we move to lock them with one another instead.

“Ready when you are love” whispers Ashton, knowing that he was trying to push past the pain. A pain I very much wanted to take away from him so badly.

*‘Easy… Xavier has him. He needs us to focus, not coddle him at the moment’* remarks Elza as if knowing exactly what we should be doing right about now.

*‘But-’* I try, only to be cut off by her yet again.

*‘No… He needs to do this on his own, to show us he can be our Luna and not just another Beta. The Moon Goddess gave him to us for a reason, and we have to believe that she chose what was best for us’* answers Elza, knowing how badly I had wanted to approach Ashton but knew that I couldn’t at least not yet.

So, taking a deep breath I move to ease my racing heart instead. My legs slowly approaching Ashton as I did, my eyes firm in what it was that I needed to do next in order for us to finally be together.

“Ready Ashton?”

“Ready my Alpha”

Smiling at the word Alpha, I knew almost instantly that Ashton and I would make a wonderful team. That no matter what life threw at us that we would face them together as a team, as Alpha and Luna till the end.

“Then repeat after me, I, Ashton Wolf, hereby wish to join the Dark Moon Pack while promising to protect it, nurture it as well as respect all its members while swearing total loyalty to its pack Alpha.” I say as I move to cut my hand carefully with a claw, careful not to get any blood on my beautiful red dress as I move to watch Ashton.

Taking a deep breath does Ashton move to repeat the same words that I had just spoken minutes before, “I, Ashton Wolf, hereby wish to join the Dark Moon Pack while promising to protect it, nurture it as well as respect all its members all while swearing total loyalty to its Alpha and my mate.” adds Ashton a smirk now gracing his lips as I move to cut his hand as well, pressing both of our hands together, officially binding Ashton to me as the link of the Dark Moon Pack begins to form, giving Ashton the bond and link he needed to communicate with those within my pack.

“Welcome home… Luna” I whisper.

“Thank you… Little mate” whispers Ashton as he moves to pull me into his empty arms, my body relaxing against his as he did.

Enjoying the others embrace neither of us go unaware of the extra set of eyes or the extra company until finally someone moves to speak up. “So Luna eh?” asks Damian, causing Ashton to growl playfully to his brother.

“What’s it to you if I am?” asks Ashton.

“Nothing actually. After all you have an Alpha for a mate. Plus she’s beautiful and courageous” answers Damian truthfully.

“Yea well.. She’s also off limits too. She’s my Alpha. And your new sister-in-law so definitely off limits to you” growls Ashton, his eyes now on his brother who only smirks.

“Relax, I already have a mate. Her name’s Ianira, a wolf and a Delta from the Bloodmoon Pack, Alpha Logan’s pack” admits Damian, knowing his mate would also have to break her ties with her Alpha before being able to join his.

“Whoa… tough break dude. Hopefully it all works out for you before you leave to return home” admits Ashton, feeling his brother's pain at having to wait for his mate.

“Don’t worry about it. All will be handled by then” grunts Damian only to grunt louder when he feels his mate in mild discomfort before putting up a mental block so he wouldn’t be held down by any lasting pain.

“Damian?” calls Ashton, worried for his brother.

“Fine. She’s just doing her pack bond with Alpha Andrews. She put up a block until we’re able to link her to our pack” answers Damian truthfully.

Nodding his head, Ashton moves back towards me, his eyes watching mine as he moves to speak up slowly, “Now that I’m officially yours, can I officially mark you.”

Blushing at the thought of finally being marked by Ashton do I shiver. The thought of what our mating mark would look like sending waves of pleasure all along me.

*‘Mmm… Our Luna’s being extremely straight forward’* purrs Elza, the thought of our mate biting us and making us his, now sending waves of pleasure soaring through us as he spoke.

*‘But that’s okay. It’s what we’ve been wanting since the start’* I move to tell her, remembering the feeling of being disappointed when he wouldn’t mark us that night of our first encounter, only for that dream to finally become our reality.

Purring, Elza decides to send me very inappropriate images of our mate, causing me to blush at the thought of Ashton and I actually doing it.

*‘Elza, Stop it, NOW’*

Unable to focus on anything else, I carefully hear Ashton whisper softly against my ear. Our bond not yet fully formed because of the pack bond.

“Everything okay? Your blushing”

“Y-Yea… Elza is just being Elza”

Chuckling, Ashton moves to nip at my lower ear, “Mmm.. I look forward to meeting Elza as does Xavier” purrs Ashton, another wave of pleasure coursing through my body at the closeness he was giving me.

“So do we” I whisper back to him, our eyes locking before the sound of a voice rises to greet us.

“With all due respect Alpha Hayes. As much as I would love to watch Ashton fuck you senseless, I would rather not. After all, it's not my place when I’d love nothing more than to mark and mate my own mate” remarks Isaac, his voice amused as he watches the scene unfold before his eyes.

Suddenly, as if remembering that we’re not currently alone, do I move to pull away. A blush still evident across my cheeks as I move to speak up, “So sorry Alpha Grant. I- We- Did not mean to make you or your new Beta uncomfortable” I stammer, only for Ashton to chuckle.

“Relax little mate. He was only teasing you. But come we should probably return to your room and then to mine so that we might be able to pack. For something tells me that after tonight’s little shuffle between Alpha Jacob and the Alpha twins that staying here doesn’t seem like a very good idea to me” replies Ashton, seriously.

*‘He’s right’* replies Elza as if sensing the same thought as Ashton. The fight that erupted between the three Alpha's did not go according to plan as they began fighting over a lone she-wolf who was clearly taken by the Alpha twins.

“Agreed” I finally say to him, before shifting my attention back towards the other two males. “It was nice meeting you Damian, hopefully we’ll continue to bond some other time, and Isaac hopefully we’ll continue working more closely together with one another in the future. For after all I do have Ashton to thank for that.”

Smiling at my words, does Isaac move to reply back to me, “But of course. Our packs are now considered family. And family helps one another when they can.”

Listening to those words I can’t help but be reminded of my father. The need to return home soon now more urgent in the matter as I move to nod my head. Giving Isaac and Damian one last final goodbye before finally moving to leave with Ashton in tow, moving to leave for the night as we move to return to my room as we did.

*Stay strong father.. I’m coming home with my Luna in tow,* come my only thoughts as I pray and wish for my father to stay healthy as possible, at least until my return home.
