Chapter 27

**Elise**

“Mmm… By the Goddess Ashton. This breakfast was amazing.” I say, my eyes now looking at Ashton. A soft chuckle rising as he moves to take the now empty tray away from me.

“I’m glad that you enjoyed it. It means I’m doing my job correctly by taking care of you” admits Ashton, his eyes still on mine even as he moves to hold the tray before eventually heading towards the door.

Confused, I moved to speak out.

“Where are you going?” I ask curiously.

“To take care of the dishes. Figured it’s the least I can do for you while you shower and dress.”

Blushing at his words, I slowly moved to look down at my lap, suddenly remembering that I was very naked, so I quickly nodded my head in agreement before saying, “Okay.”

“Cute” chuckles Ashton, before speaking again. “Go, I’ll handle everything downstairs while you go shower. Figured the pack could wait a little while longer while you went and did that.”

“Wait… How did you know about that?”

“How could I not, you had that glazed look to your face which meant you were talking to someone within the pack. Figured it might have been either your Beta, Gamma or Delta” admits Ashton.

“I was talking to Shaun. I was asking him to help assemble the pack for us. Figured since I’m introducing you as the new Luna, we might as well introduce Aerin, Krista and Kat too” I say, smiling at the thought of officially announcing Ashton to everyone as our new Luna.

Nodding, Ashton moves to smile once more before moving to leave the room. Allowing me the privacy that I needed to shower and dress. My naked body now moving to climb from the bed before making its way towards the bathroom and shower.

~1 Hour Later~

Once I finished with my shower, do I moved to wrap a towel around my body. Having spent a good portion just letting the warm hot water relax my aching muscles do I finally move to pull myself back together again.

*Mmm…* I hum, eyes now focused on the mirror before me. My hand reaching for the hairbrush as I move to brush out my long blonde hair, my thoughts drifting back towards my father.

*I do hope he’s okay today. I haven’t been able to see him yet to know otherwise. But even without my knowledge I’m sure Ashton would have said something to me, right?*

Biting my inner lip, I try not to sit there and worry. Ashton having already explained to me that my father wanted to see us after the pack introductions were done with.

*Speaking of pack introductions, I should probably check in with Shaun once more to make sure everything’s okay,* I quickly think, my mind searching for our pack bond before moving to call out to him once again.

*‘Hey Shaun?’*

*‘Yes Elise?’* replies Shaun as if knowing I would reach out to him once more.

*‘Is everything ready to go?’*

*‘Yes. Everything is all set and ready for your arrival, including the pack’* explains Shaun knowingly.

*‘Thanks. Ashton and I will be there soon,’* I admit back to him, already shifting gears as I move to walk back towards my bedroom and my huge walk-in closet that I now shared with Ashton. Ashton currently still downstairs with my father while I move to get myself dressed and ready to go.

Opting for a pair of dark wash skinny jeans along with black ankle booties as well as a silk green top and matching green bra and panties do I move to get dressed. Thoughts of Ashton now racing through my mind as I do.

*Ashton better not rip these off me, otherwise he’ll be buying me a whole new set each time,* I grumble still irked that he had the nerve to rip off my last pair.

*‘Relax, he promised you he would buy you a new pair didn’t he’* replied Elza, as if reading my mind as I move to slip on the panties followed by the jeans. The pants fitting me like a second skin as I move to button them up.

*‘Not the point Elza… He has to learn that he can’t go around ripping off my clothes like a caveman’* I move to say back to her. Knowing that Ashton would replace all clothes torn if I asked him.

*‘You know, you could always go commando like Ashton. I’m pretty sure he’d love that if you did’* whispers Elza, causing me to blush as I process those words.

*‘ELZA! NO’*

Giggling at my sudden response does she move to retreat to the back of my mind yet close and present should I need her for anything.

Shaking my head, I move to finish up before I quickly make my way downstairs. My hair somewhat presentable for what Ashton and I were about to do. The sound of male voices reaching my ear as I slowly make my way down the stairs.

*Huh?*

Blinking in slight confusion, nothing mentally prepares me for what I’m about to see until I do. My eyes now locked on two people who meant the world to me as they carefully sat around the table, drinks in hand as they chatted with one another.

“Daddy?” I finally say, eventually finding my voice as I catch both in mid-sentence, their attention now on me.

“Ah… there’s my little moon star” smiles my father, Sebastian only to cough slightly which causes me to frown over at his direction, a part of me knowing that he should be resting.

“Dad, you should be resting, taking it easy” I offer, hoping to remind him as I move to greet him with a gentle kiss to the cheek which causes him to chuckle.

“Pish Posh…I’m totally fine. Besides, someone had to entertain your new Luna while you were busy getting ready for the day.”

“Dad” I whine, causing him and Ashton to chuckle, my cheeks-tinged pink before moving to look over at my mate.

Our eyes meeting for only a moment before he moves to offer me a warm and tender smile, my heart melting at the gesture that could only come from Ashton himself.

“You two better be off now. The whole pack is waiting for both of you. So off you go” replies Sebastian to his daughter as he moves to shoo them away.

“I know, I know” I say, my eyes still on Ashton’s.

“You ready to go and meet the pack?”

“Ready whenever you are little mate”

Nodding, I move to give my father one last kiss to the cheek before moving to leave the house with my Luna. Everything else momentarily forgotten as Ashton moves to hold my hand before leading me out and towards the others.

The pack along with my Beta, Gamma and Delta along with their mates each waiting patiently for our arrival. The Alpha and Luna of Dark Moon Pack.
