Chapter 14
Damien POV
I wake alone in my bed. She chooses to sleep in her room last night even though I asked her to stay with me. She wanted to be alone. I wonder why. I hope after she settles she will choose to be with me. I haven’t even told her the real reason I want her. My longing for her.
I went back to the club to see her over and over. I wanted to be close to her. I wanted to feel her. I wanted her. Now that I have her here I can’t stop thinking about her. I didn’t really need another employee but I would have done anything to have her here.
By giving her a job and a stable home I can look out for her. She deserves to be taken care of. I want to take care of her. I want to make her mine.
I pick up my phone and text her.
* Hope you slept well. I enjoyed my time with you. *
I go into the kitchen to make sure the chef is preparing her breakfast. “Everything ready for her?” I ask Gregory.
“Yes sir, I am about to take it up to her,” he says.
“I will take it,” I tell him.
I grab the tray of food and leave the kitchen with it. I walk across the foyer to the stairs. I balance the tray and juice as I begin to climb the stairs. I hear her door open.
“I am bringing it to you,” I holler up to her.
“It’s just me,” Domin says.
“Is she awake?” I ask.
“No, I checked on her and left fresh towels as instructed sir,” she says.
“Thank you,” I say.
I get to the top of the stairs and walk to her room. I gently peck on the door. When she doesn’t answer I let myself in. The room is dark and she is still sleeping. I sit the tray down beside her bed. I open the curtains and let in the sunlight.
Rhea moves slowly under the covers. “Good morning,” I say to her.
She opens her eyes, “What time is it?” she asks.
“It is 9,” I say.
“Oh my. I should already be up,” she says.
“It’s fine. I brought you breakfast and juice,” I say.
“Thank you,” she says.
“Do you need anything else?” I ask.
Rhea pulls herself up in the bed. She sits up. I hand her breakfast. “Gregory made you several things. I was not sure what you would like,” I tell her.
“This was not necessary,” she says.
“Anything to keep you happy,” I tell her.
“Don’t be weird,” she says.
I am not trying to be weird. I am trying to be nice to her. I am trying to be good to her.
“I am sorry. I just wanted you to eat,” I say.
“Thanks,” she says.
“Is everything okay, Rhea,” I ask her.
“Yes. I will eat and dress. I will be down in a little bit,” she says.
“I will leave then,” I say.
I wonder why she is so upset with me.
Rhea POV
It was nice of him to bring me food even after I asked for space. Last night was great. I just felt as if we have moved so fast. He is wonderful in bed. He is extremely sweet. There is just something that I cannot figure out. I need this to help my sister and myself for that matter. Damien is offering me a better life, but at what cost. I don’t want to be his live-in sex slave. Now I am thinking too much. He did not force me to do anything. It was beyond pleasurable.
Sex with him is nothing like I have ever experienced. He is addictive. He tastes wonderful and he makes me feel like my body is exploding. His tongue his cock his motions when he is inside me. I can’t think about this right now.
I eat some of the massive breakfast he brought up and drink the orange juice. I need to get dressed and go down to see what he has planned for the day. I wonder if we will work or if I will end up on my knees again.
I get out of the bed and grab some clothes out of the closet. I need to shower and wash off the sex from last night. I can still smell him all over me. I can smell him and it turns me on.
I get into the shower. I scrub my body and wash my hair. I stand in the hot water. I can still smell him on me. I scrub myself again and again trying to free my body from his scent. I step out of the shower and towel dry my hair. I wrap myself in a towel and brush my wet hair. I grab the hairdryer and lightly dry it. I pick up my clean clothes and slip into my clothes.
I slip into my shoes. I grab my food tray and leave the room. I balance the tray and begin to go down the stairs. I make it three steps and drop the tray. Gregory comes running out to help me.
“I am so sorry. I am a bit of a klutz,” I say.
“No problem miss, I was planning to come to get it,” he says.
I help Gregory clean up my mess. Damien comes up to help us. “What happened?” he asks.
“You know how clumsy I am,” I say.
“Yes I do,” Damien says.
“I have got this miss, go ahead,” Gregory says.
“Thank you,” I tell Gregory.
“We have work to do, Rhea,” Damien says.
“We do?” I ask.
“Yes, remember we have to work today,” Damien says.
“Yes, we do,” I say.
I get up and follow Damien to his office.
“I set you up a small office outside of my office. It will be enough for now. When you meet with clients you are to use the cottage,” Damien says.
“Got it,” I say.
“The contracts are simple. You will get an email with the specifics from a client, you put it together, and then email me for final review. When I approve it you call the clients in meeting with them and help them sign off,” Damien says.
“Sounds pretty simple,” I say.
“It can be, but it can also be quite difficult. Make sure you dot your I’s and cross your t’s. If you are unsure about something ask. Don’t ever guess,” Damien says.
“yes sir, I understand completely,” I say.
“Okay then, you can go set up your office any way you like it. All your computer login is on your desk. If you need me I will be in here,” Damien says.
“thank you,” I say.
“Rhea, would you like to have dinner tonight?” Damien asks.
“sure,” I say.
Dinner again with Damien, I could get used to this.
