Chapter 4
As soon as I entered the president's office, Kenneth held both my hands behind my back, pressed me against the door from behind, and bit my earlobe.
"Still angry?"
I struggled and squirmed, but Kenneth just laughed: "You look beautiful when you struggle."
"Kenneth!" I gritted my teeth and growled lowly, "Let go of me!"
Kenneth leaned in and questioned: "Why didn't you come in to bring the coffee?"
"You're asking me?" I sneered.
Kenneth sighed and dragged me into his arms, lightly stroking the back of my head with his big hand: "Alright, don't be angry anymore, how about I buy you a yacht? How big do you want it?"
"......"
Kenneth caught hold of my hand and gently kissed it: "I've been looking at a few new houses recently, let's go together tomorrow to see which one you like..."
"Kenneth, since you don't want me to be the head of the secretary department, how about I become Mrs. Bailey? Let's get married." I intentionally provoked him.
"Sure." Kenneth didn't hesitate at all and pulled my hand, ready to leave.
He was just a lunatic!
I shook off his grip. "Are you crazy? I just wanted to be a head of department, why won't you let me?"
"What's as glamorous as Mrs. Bailey for a head of department?"
"......"
I couldn't say a word.
I couldn't outsmart this old fox, he knew I wouldn't marry him, so he agreed so readily.
But what will he do if I go register to get married with him now?
If it were me, I really don't know what I would do.
But Kenneth must have a way to avoid registering at the last moment.
Forget it; I'll take my time to court him. After all, I'm young, just graduated, no rush.
I looked at my wristwatch: "Boss, the meeting will start in fifteen minutes."
Kenneth looked at me with a smirk.: "......"
...
Back at the secretary department, after arranging everything, I helped Susan and others with their work.
Perhaps Kenneth was right, maybe I have too high of an opinion of myself. I'm just a recent graduate from university, how can I compare to Mrs. Bailey?
Am I qualified to be a supervisor?
I was too anxious.
The next day, Kenneth didn't call me to his office again.
Close to five o'clock, Fiona called.
"Are you done? I'm downstairs. Come down quickly, and I'll take you out to have some fun."
I tidied up, said goodbye to my colleagues, and left the office. d went out.
After getting into Fiona's car, I asked, "Where are you taking me?"
"To a bar, it's Justin's birthday, don't you remember? I told you a long time ago."
Only then did I remember.
Fiona started criticizing my attire outfit again. After she started the engine, she took me to buy clothes first.
When it was time to pay, Fiona took out her card, but I stopped her.
"I can do it myself..."
"Why are you acting so distant? Use mine." Fiona handed her card over, "My money is all from my uncle, and you've been exploited by him in his company, it's only right for you to spend his money."
"..."
But the money I least wanted to spend in this world was Kenneth's.
