Chapter 56- JUST RIGHT

Aurora looked at the interior of the house and she was truly stunned, although the house was not as enormous as her in-law's home, it was still bigger than the house that she and Leonardo shared.

She turned to look at him, he was smiling while she on the other hand was confused as to what they were doing there. Leonardo had driven her ten minutes to this house and outside they were greeted by a man in a suit.

'What is this?" she asked him, Leonardo's hands were crossed over his chest. He enjoyed watching Aurora study the exterior and the interior of the house.

'Do you like it?" he asked her.

'But—"

'Do you like it?" Leonardo interrupted her as he asked her once more. Aurora looked at the house once more and she looked back at him, still lost for words.

'It, it's very modern but at the same time it still has a bit of vintage—"

'Just say the word and this house and everything in here will be yours" Aurora's eyes grew wide in disbelief as she looked at her husband, not understanding what he was saying to her.

'I beg your pardon?" Leonardo rolled his eyes at her, placed his hands inside his pockets and walked towards his wife.

'Just say the word and this house and everything in it will be yours, my love" Leonardo repeated his earlier words to her.

'No, no Leonardo—"

'Oh! So I'm no longer your love, your boo?" He wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to him, looking into Aurora's eyes, he saw their future together.

'You are" she told him, so close to him that her lips were a mare inches away from him.

'Then why are you calling me by my name? I am your bae and your boo, aren't I?"

'You are but my love, we can't get this house?"

'Why not? It's not like I cannot afford it and we need a bigger house after all" Leonardo tried getting through to her but Aurora was not having it.

'Why do we need a bigger house?"

'Well we have to start a family together, so our children will need all the space to run around and the house that we have right now will not allow our children all the freedom that they need—" Leonardo paused, as he realized that Aurora was stuck frozen, looking at him in the eyes. 'What is wrong my love?" he asked her.

'I think I misheard you there, you, you were speaking about children and starting a family and—"

'No you did not, I meant what I said. I want you and me to start our family together and the sooner the better"

'Are you sure?" an emotional Aurora questioned Leonardo.

'Yes I am a hundred percent sure and come to think of it, we should start practicing baby making sooner" he teased her, stealing a quick kiss from Aurora.

'Hey!" she tapped him on the shoulder.

'Ouch you hurt me" Leonardo playfully cried out.

'Oh I did not hit you that hard"

'Well I think you did and Dr. Avena Romano, you owe me"

'What is it that I owe you?" she asked him, looking into his eyes and seeing his hunger for her, the smirk on his
face was enough for her to know that she was right in what she was thinking of him.

'No my love we can't" she whispered, all while looking around to see if the real stator was nearby.

'Why not now my love? I am so hungry for you" he whispered into her ear, his breath tickling the side of her neck.

'Because we are in a show house, what would happen if we get caught doing this" Leonardo without warning began kissing her here and there until he stopped and looked into her eyes.

'Well if you say yes then this house could be our house, but you are busy worrying about trivial matters such as the price" Leonardo had read her mind even when she herself had not mentioned the issue of money.

'Well it looks every expensive, I mean five bedroom and a garage big enough to fit six cars, that is just ridiculous" she tried reasoning with him.

'Of course we need five bedrooms, one for us, each of the four rooms is for our four children"

'Four children! You are crazy" she laughed aloud, the most she had ever laughed in a while. But she stopped as she realized that Leonardo was not laughing back, he was serious. 'You are serious?" she asked him.

Without saying a word, he nodded his head in agreement and his answer was enough to shock Aurora. She had always wondered how she would be as a mother but reality had struck her hard when she realized that she was too poor to care for one.

'My love"

'Yes!" Aurora answered, snapping out of her dream world and quickly flashing a smile at her husband.

'Like I said, I am serious my love. I want to have a big Italian family, filled with love" he pulled her closer, so close that she could feel the swelling of his groan pressing onto her womanhood.

'I want that too" she heard herself say, knowing in her heart that she truly wanted a family with Leonardo more than ever.

'For that to happen my love, I think we have to practice" Leonardo licked his lips, signaling his hunger for her.

'But we are not home yet?"

'I know that, but we have five bedrooms and all we have to do is choose which one we want to use. Do not worry about the real stator, he left on my command" Leonardo told her and before she knew it, Leonardo was sweeping her off her feet and carrying her up the steps.

Just as always, their lovemaking had been the best. Leonardo was always as passionate as ever, always knowing just how to please her and when to do it. Aurora looked up at the ceiling, reminiscing the moment that they had.

His mouth knowing just how to drive the woman in her crazy or how she had brought out the beast in him multiple times, as she gripped onto the sheets to stop herself from losing her mind.

Countless times during their lovemaking, he had made sure that she moaned his name repeatedly and even as he inserted himself into her all raw and wanting her. His length and thickness like always surprised her and tonight he had done an amazing job at pleasing her.

Even now as she lay besides him and she could hear the inhaling and exhaling of his breath, she counted herself as the luckiest woman in the world to have such a man that put her needs above his own.

Well then, I guess I have to clip my son's wings as well. Her mother in-law's words replayed in her mind and sent fear rising in her so much so that Aurora sat up abruptly, breathing heavily.

Beads of sweat dripped down her face and before she could gather herself, Leonardo had already woken up, looking and touching her to make sure that she was not harmed.

'What happened, my love, was it a nightmare?" he frantically asked her but Aurora was silent. She could not bring herself to tell him that his mother had come to their home and threatened her.

'Nothing, I was just—"

'Don't you dare lie to me, please" he pleaded with her. His eyes holding so much sadness, hurt and Aurora did not want to be the reason for his sadness.

'Last week your mother came to our house" she blurted out. Judging by his reaction, Aurora could see that Leonardo was upset so much that he was clenching his jaw.

'Why did you not tell me, I thought that we promised not to keep secrets?" he asked her, his voice holding nothing but betrayal.

'I am so sorry, what she said scared me" Aurora looked into his eyes and even she herself could feel the fear coming from herself. Her mother in-law had revealed a side to her that Aurora had never thought that she would see.

'What did my mother say?" Leonardo asked her but Aurora kept quiet. 'I ask one last time. What did my mother say to you?" he asked her, his tone of voice coming out more rough and filled with anger.

'She came over wanting me to sign over all my family's properties to her and when I refused her request, she not only threatened me but she threatened you as well" Aurora blurted, now knowing how Leonardo would react but to her surprise, he kept silent, looking out the window.

'Are you okay?" she asked him, tried to touch his arm but Leonardo pulled away from her. Aurora had grown used to rejection but this time, Leonardo's rejection left her feeling empty.

'I wanted to tell you"

'But why didn't you!" Leonardo stood up abruptly from the bed as he raised his voice.

'I am sorry" Aurora apologized and she looked down, too ashamed to look at him in the face.

'You should have told me, what if she had hurt you. If anything happened to you, then I would be lost" he told her. Aurora looked up at him and surely there were tears in his eyes. His fist balled and the veins in his neck sticking out.

'I know, I should have told you but I did not want you and your mother to fight"

'Oh please it's not as though me and my mother are on good terms" he slapped his leg in anger.

'Well maybe you should have told me why we left your parents' house in the first place" Aurora stood up from the bed, still wrapped in her sheet. Slightly irritated that Leonardo too was keeping things from her.

'Do not make this about me, we are talking about you not telling me the truth about my mother visiting our home"

'Then maybe we should also talk about you not telling me why we left your parents' house as though we were some beggars being kicked out" Aurora yelled.

'I was trying to protect you!"

'So was I! You moved me from your parent's house and you told me nothing yet I trusted you blindly like always have, yet you refuse to tell me the truth. Looks like I am not the only one keeping secrets here" she told him, Leonardo stopped her just as she was about to leave the room.

'Please don't leave, my love. I am sorry for not telling you why we left but the last thing I want is for you and me to fight over what my mother did"

'I don't want to fight with you either" She told him, her bare back still facing him as he approached her.

'Please turn around and look at me" he asked her and just like a loyal woman, she turned to face him. 'I will tell you whatever I need to tell you tonight and that is a promise" Leonardo promised his wife and to see the smile on her face was all that he had ever wanted from her.
