I haven't forgotten about you
Lazarus heard the man's thoughts but acted oblivious. After dressing, he seducingly pulled the man closer to him.
“Your Majesty,” the man was caught by surprise, and his eyes widened.
“You want to fuck me, right?” Lazarus asked the man with furrowed brows.
“No… I,” the man began to stutter, but before he could complete his words, Lazarus pushed him into the river and made sure he died by drowning.
“Come out, the coast is clear. I am a man of my word,” Lazarus informed Daniel, and without waiting for his response, he left.
Daniel was embarrassed, his dick was still erect. ‘A man of your words indeed,’ he murmured, his tone filled with sarcasm.
He emerged from the river, his eyes fixed on the lifeless body floating on the water's surface, and he sighed sadly.
He felt a mix of emotions: shock, disgust, and fear. "Lazarus, you're a monster," Daniel whispered to himself.
But as he looked at the king's retreating figure, he couldn't deny the thrill that coursed through his veins. Their encounter had left him breathless, and his body still yearned for more.
Daniel took a deep breath and followed Lazarus, his mind reeling with questions.
‘What did he truly feel for the king? Was it love, lust, or something more complex?’
As he walked, the forest grew darker, and the sounds of music and laughter drifted through the trees. ‘The dancing ceremony.’
Daniel's heart sank. What would happen when they returned to the palace? Would Lazarus's desire for him fade, or would it intensify? And what about his brother? Will his mother ever forgive him for choosing his selfish desires over his father's murderer?
Daniel's thoughts swirled, his emotions tangled in uncertainty. But one thing was clear: his fate was now inextricably linked to King Lazarus's. And Daniel couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead.
He was falling in love with his enemy, and he wasn't ready to be saved.
“Hey, man! Where have you been? The dancing ceremony is about to begin,” Frank called out to him and quickly wrapped his arms around his neck.
Daniel sighed, after what happened with Lazarus, he was really tired and wanted to call it a night, but Frank wasn't having it. He kept teasing him, a cute smile on his face.
“So are you going to tell me what happened or not?” Frank asked, a mischievous smirk on his lips.
Daniel was shocked and arched his eyebrows in surprise, wondering if Frank had seen him with the king. “What are you talking about, buddy?” He asked.
The smirk on Frank's lips turned into a deep grin. “Oh, so you aren't planning on telling me what happened with Lord Astro. Well, unfortunately for you, I saw him coming out of the forest a few minutes before you,” he whispered, giggling excitedly.
“What?! Do you mean Lord Astro was in the forest?” Daniel asked with widened eyes.
“I just said that, and I saw him coming out too. Although, he looked a bit unhappy. Weren't you able to pleasure him well?” Frank asked curiously.
Daniel's mind began to reel with a lot of questions. His eyes searched the crowd, and he found Lord Astro staring at him with the most menacing gaze he had never seen. Beside him was Remy, and they were both looking at him.
“Well, it's not your fault if you're unable to pleasure him to his satisfaction, it's your first time anyway. But it would have been better if you had told me, I would have taught you a thing or two,” Frank continued his preaching, but Daniel wasn't paying attention to him anymore, he was trying to figure out what Lord Astro was doing in the forest.
“Did he see me?” Daniel whispered, his eyes searching for Lazarus. “Or did the King inform him?” He wondered aloud.
“What are you murmuring about?” Frank asked with raised brows, trying to look at what he was staring at. “What King? Oh wait! Don't tell me King Derrick is also crushing on you,” he squealed excitedly.
“King Derrick is crushing on who?” Timber asked as he moved towards the both of them.
“Don't mind Frank, he is just spouting nonsense!” Daniel replied.
Frank began to grin, “Oh, there's no reason to be shy. It's completely normal for a King to fall in love, and that can change your life… I mean our lives completely!”
“No one's life is changing,” Daniel replied and quickly covered Frank's mouth before he could say anything else. He didn't want Timber to have the wrong idea. Moreover, he had other things to worry about. Things like King Lazarus and Lord Astro.
Truth be told, he had no feelings for Lord Astro, he had earlier planned to use him, but now that King Lazarus was trying to initiate something rosy, he couldn't have Astro ruining it for him, but he didn't know how to tell him the truth either.
“How about we go and sit down, the dance will soon begin,” Timber suggested, and grabbed Frank's hands, pulling him to an available seat before someone else took it. Frank in turn pulled Daniel, and they all sat down together. But Daniel's mind wasn't at rest, and he tried to gain Lazarus’ attention with his eyes, but the king ignored him, focusing his attention on the ladies.
“Yeah, such a jerk!” Daniel thought, his eyes fixed on Lazarus.
As the choreography began, Daniel's gaze remained fixed on Lazarus, but his thoughts were interrupted by Frank's whispered commentary on the dancing ladies.
Daniel's attention remained split, his eyes darting between Lazarus and Lord Astro. Astro's menacing gaze sent shivers down his spine. What did he want? And why was he staring at him with such intensity? He wondered.
Just as Daniel was starting to feel uneasy, the king's eyes met his. For a fleeting moment, they locked gazes, and Daniel sensed a spark of electricity.
Lazarus's expression remained impassive, but his eyes told a different story. They seemed to say, "I haven't forgotten about you."
